102? R.I.P to Attah. |
I do believe some of those that insulted Bini on this thread need to apologize to Bini people. They did not insult Igbo people on this thread therefore, no-one had any right to insult them. For one patroit isn't Edo nor bini as bashr8 deducted. He was outed out by prominent bini's on NL before. Therefore, some of you people need to apologize, even though some of una might not have know this before but now that you do know, it best to apologize. @chippychappy You might have been genuine in your post but in away your post is kind of suggesting Yoruba and Fulani culture are the same. You do understand where the Yorubas are coming from right? You post might have been genuine but someone else might view it as malicious. @ Crayola You said it all. I don't think anyone can add or remove anything from what you just said. You spoke the truth as it should be. |
How is this man popular? Most of his songs are rubbish including this one. A big fact MISS |
OP I'm from Asaba. I was born in Asaba but raised in PH, Enugu, Onitsha and Asaba . |
It is a shame that threads about delta get so derailed by non-deltans. What is your problem? If you people have a problem with the OP or any other member on this thread, send the said person an email. |
The Fulani's are very stupid for not doing so. This is f2king Nigeria where the government, the military, the police, etc are trigger happy. Okay ooo!!! lets see how they are going to skate through this without majority of their people injured by the Nigerian government for defying them. E be like day dem think Nigeria is USA. |
illitrate: The boko sect has claimed responsibility for pdp's failure in edo state. Is this suppose to be a joke? Do you have a link to this accusation? |
Seriously? A man made a suggestion about how he viewed PDP might win Lagos and the next thing we know the Yoruba are attacking and insulting Igbo yet they expected none to say anything. Do una even bothered to analyzing where cyril was coming from at all? Do you people still wonder why many groups call una a very tribalistic bunch? SMH. This thread answers that question @ cyril, dude I applaud you for ignoring the 1diots. @ Globe, etc you guys should have known better. @ the rest of Igbo, kudos for not retaliating, if I remember right thread like this would have reached 22 pages by now. It just shows some people are growing up while the other would prefer to remain in the dark age. Kudos |
nagoma: As if he is in Igboland. He's middle belt. He said it so many times on NL. Learn where people are from before talking. |
It is very insulting that one dared to use Igbos to defend Fulani. Very f2king insulting to Igbo people. There is absolutely no similarity between the two situations and absolutely no similarities between the two ethnic groups for one. ) An Igbo born or raised in Lagos still remember their ancestral home, every year he or she migrate back to that ancestral home for celebration, wedding, etc. If you want, go around and ask any Igbo in Lagos where they are from and count how many would narrate Lagos as their home. Do you want to bet the answer would come out less than 1%? Therefore, if a Nigerian army decides to separate them from the other ethnic group, they would leave. It happened in the 60s, it happened during Boko Haram BS. For two.) How many times have you heard about any Igbo group going on a killing spree against their host even if their host pissed them off? I bet you again that the answer would come out less than 1% again. It is very f2king insulting for that. May God fire that person that mentioned Igbo for here. If you want to defend Fulani, use your f2king people (your entire people are found all over Nigeria and out), do not drag Igbo into that bullsh1t defending again. Some people are always trying to be political correct but never have the courtesy to do it the right way but instead drag others into it. mschweee @ thread It does not take a genius to realize this is the best solution to the situation. The beroms are prisoners to Fulani's in their own land. Last week alone, we read articles about attacks manifested in Jos back to back, death toll increasing yet some fools still think it is best to force two ethnic groups that are obviously not getting along in the same state. For what? so they can continue killing each other. If it escalates to an un-imaginary proportion tomorrow, watch as the same people who are condemning STF for this move would be the first people shouting and condemning Nigerian government for not doing anythingearlier. If some people are so concerned about the Fulani's in Jos, instead of yelling at those supporting STF and asking where should the refugees go, why don't una allow the refugees a free pass to your state shikena. If una are going to be politically correct then do it the right way. It is fine and dandy when the atrocity is not happening in your state right? Some people are too wicked, it is very ignorant to suggest STF to force an ethnic group that are obviously scared and want peace for their region to continue living together with the group that is scaring them. STF or any other nigerian security team in jos never suggested this outcome before, why now? It does not take much analyzing to realize STF probably have lost control thus, they realized the best way to stop the situation before it escalates to full-blown genocide is segregate the two ethnic groups. Some people are wicked; for once have empathy in una hearts. |
noiseless[b:So true. To attack a defenselessness old woman and even her own daughter has no words to describe the ignorance and backwardness. If the youths of that area wanted to prove their strength, maybe they should get up and go after BH or armed robbers. mschewww. |
So they are telling us a Nigerian police turned down money. Na which kain lie be that. I going to guess the police told them to give him all the money they had and the suspect refused, 61,200 naira might be the negotiating prize the suspect gave, which probably pissed off the police. That is about the only possibility of a Nigerian police turning down a bribe. Na which kain lie they wan tell us. As if we no sabi naija police. @ thread See. This is the reason I would have believed the story if it was Onitsha people that made that threat against North. They don't play. Isn't this the third thread about arms caught from onitsha indigenous. All this happening recently. hmm, there is something ndi onitsha aren't telling us. |
Uche2006: i am telling you the truth.. if you dont remove them from nigeria. you will just wake up and see that ogun as killed northerners as sacrifice.. it is allowed in yoruba land to kill northerners as sacrifice to ogun. police will give them permit to do oro at night and many northerners will die..Chei Musiwa you don butcher English. English didn't even have chance. You kill am finish. We sabi writing in grammatical error na normal occurrence in NL but dis one, hey na new level Haba no be you wey say na teacher you be up north? . You cannot help but like Musiwa, this dude is hilarious. |
namfav: do you remember the discussion we had the over day?I remember you not understand anything you to understand. I remember the discussion very well. Do you ever think before writing? Dude someone need to diagnose you, something is wrong somewhere with you. Care to explain how any of this rumor support your stands instead of mine? SMH. You really need to be diagnosed. |
Ohh I had to look at it again, I see it now. If my assumption on how Aba is well planned city is correct then Maiduguri is a very planned city too no? |
I don't get the hype about Aba. The only one that stood out was Abuja. |
dayokanu: These descendants of cannibals who are hated by everyone. Everyone doesnt want anything to do with the useless Igbos. Hausas hate you, Beroms hate you, Tivs dont care about you, SS minorities all want to get rid of you, Yorubas cant stand you.Dang see pain and tears. ROFLMFAO. Dude it is just words, you did not have to cry this much. Samkoro and Bandit C, una are mean to make a grown man cry like this. Chei, I've never seen a man pain like this on NL until now. |
Odenigbo Aroli: Which can be more of an ignorance, not selling land to someone but giving out your daughter to them in marriage? I have never visited Rivers State and am not planning to ever set foot in Ogba or is Omoku....You have 24hrs electricity but are you paying for it?? I dont know who you are because you are insignificant! ! What have you achieved as a group that you can boast of?? You are scared of Igbos because you feel if you give them chance they will overrun you yet they have been your neigbhours for centuries and havent overran you yet. Now Igbos are marrying your women so we can buy lands in your place? That Igbo must be a retarded one!! I want you to remember that a good neighbour is better than a brother that lives in a foreign land... You guys are creating troubles for your future generation...Soon or later you ppl will definitely need the help of the Igbos because you are very small to stand alone. You are stressing yourself out over this. It is not that much of a big deal you know. Why get angry if someone is not selling lands to Igbos? Dude calm down. |
brokoto: first of all, i want to say that i was invited into this post by Afam4eva. secondly, i'm from Omoku town and what the poster posted is true. unfortunate but true. i donot know how the tradition came about but i have known from childhood that the Omoku people do not sell lands to the Igbos. in response to Onenaira, if you are from Delta State, we would not count you as an Igbo man. so Chinenye is Right in that aspect.I am going to nib this in the bud right now before "being from delta gives you a free pass" stereotype starts spreading. Even though I did not think this was worth wasting calling cards to Africa for but I bit my cheapness and called my father to get an inquiring to this whole thing. Before I start how many of una on NL ever told someone where you are from during real estate inquiry or even during a business deal? I am not sure about una but on his case, he has never done that. His name, how much he is willing to pay or whatever he is willing to trade are all his dealers get. Money and name is all anybody that ever had done deals with my father gets unless the said person is a friend. Delta state, Asaba and our family compound, etc. are not included. Let me just nib that sh1t in the bud right now. I am not sure where una get your story that being a delta Igbo gets a person a free pass from, I do not care enough to tell you’ll the reality but coming from delta has no impact whatsoever on any of my father's business. Shikena. One more thing I also asked and the answer I received is that we do have properties in Ahoada, Kregagi and Iyasara. I have never been to any of that properties but according to my father, they all omoku. One relative is recently building a house near Santa Maria High School because his daughter is about to start going to that school soon or so I was told. He's a family relative that got married into my family (my cousin's wife's brother); they are not Delta but Anambra. No one helped him get the land and no one is helping him build the house, everything is on him. According to my father, the school is in omoku. Anyway sorry if I spelled any of the places wrong. I have difficult spelling African names. Secondly, maybe there are exceptions, maybe there aren't. I needed collaboration and I got it from both side. |
Tisa: Nigerians are so pathetic. Menh how I wish I am in the ruling class, I will just be loothing till thy kingdom come cos I know that rather than the suffering masses coming after me n my family they will be too busy tribalising issues n forget about how they got to the sorry state that they are which is thru bad leadership. The bold is my dream too. I hope this nation splits, I don't think it can ever fix itself and all I see whenever I picture the future of Nigeria is despair, poverty, killing, corruption, etc. I don't forsee any change for this nation but rather an increase towards the direction of many African nation like Zimbabwe, Somalia, Mali, Niger, etc etc. I rather swim to a better ship than follow a sinking ship to the end of the ocean all in the name of patriotism. In my case, I pray for the region that have been clamoring for a new nation such as Biafran republic, Niger-delta republic and MB republic. My only hope in those new nations is that each politician ruling that region now is either jailed up or rehabilitated. |
newacca: Do we always need the support of the western world before we take action as Africans? An African must act like a ZULU.Actually in this case, the reality of the dream is limited without their support. The UN holds the key in the separation of a nation and for the UN to support the creation of a new state, they need an approval vote from the major countries that holds the highest power in UN, which both USA and UK are included. |
Chinom: What we should strive for is a SOUTHERN NIGERIA republic not Biafra. Biafra as currently composed will be of no use to us. If BH can be contained or even wiped out, then Nigeria should remain as it is. Otherwise, we should move for a southern Nigeria nation. Like minds should stick together. We need each other in the South. There isn't any difference between Southern Nigeria and the current Nigeria and all those speaking on a southern Nigeria is deluding themselves into thinking removing Northern Nigeria will some how change tribalism, poverty level, corruption level, etc we have in the current Nigeria. It's like leaving hell and heading to a mini hell. |
Isn't this the same story from the "Group To Declare State Of Biafra Republic On Nov 5". That first thread made front page, the second story with the same concept but a different name made front page again. The moderator of this section on NL continue to surprise me sha. SMH Anyway, the group has the right idea but they are going on about it the wrong way. They realized they need world powers to make Biafra a reality, do they honestly think they an get it in few months? Well Goodluck with that. As for the revenge. I don't forsee that becoming a reality. Owerri people are just too nice to retaliate, if say na Onitsha people, I would believe the story. |
ekt_bear: death penalty, no?Unlikely. If it is in any Middle Eastern country, dealth penalty definitely but in malaysia case, the highest he'll get is probably jail and then deportation. @ thread Isn't he rich? Nigerians are just greedy sha. Poverty or no poverty, indigenous of this nation will do anything for money. |
GenBuhari: [size=14pt][color=#990000]The heartlessness and wickedness of some of the comments on this thread is breath taking!I don't know about UK but I'm going to assume USA and UK policy are the same. Yes you are correct, the police do close of the road but the police do not evacuate people, rather people naturally do so without being told. It is called common sense. They see a flammable product spilling on the floor, the car carrying the flammable product is probably smoking. Alot of News articles, TV shows, movies and even Nollywood movies have shown multiple times the outcome of a gasoline carrying trunk accident yet no where in their analyzing part of the mind told them it is best to step away from the trunk as far as they can go. This is isn't the government fault, it is stupidity and ignorance fault. R.I.P to those that died. I hope others learned from their mistakes |
Isn't this still a rumor OP? It hasn't been verified it is in fact his mall but rather a rumor going around. Do you have a source that finally provided verification? |
OP EDO, IGALA and IDOMA are not part of Biafra and it was never part of Biafra before. Seriously dude, this is a stupid thread. |
No doubt AI would win against CRS, they had more data and are more political forward than CRS. The best thing for the two states to do is either share the oil wells with CRS or AI hold on to all the wells but share the wealth they gain from it with CRS. |
eyenCalabar: So sad that it happening this way. This Akwa Ibom people are like virus multiplying and scattering everywhere here. There are even almost more than us in our own land. There's nowhere in Cross River State you won't find Akwa Ibom people and even where the language that we share is not even spoken. Don't know what we should really do to themSMH. Na wa ooo |
Dr. Wise:Dude WTF is wrong with you? That's literally attacking and insulting your relative. The closest friend people from CRS has in Nigeria are people from Akwa-Ibom, if they are in your state nothing stops you from heading to Akwa Ibom to look for a job. Na wa oooo see insult to closest friend, relative and neighbor. I hope not all CRS has this type of view. |
It looks like any third-world country cities in a bird eye view. Nothing special |
28octo :You don't even deserve the decency of a good reply. A waste of my time anyway. |
