You misunderstand me. If I were in this scenario, my permission isn't necessarily needed to do a DNA. Think about it, why would I be involved? Just take the baby who happens to be your child too and go do the DNA in any facility of your choice. My worry is the reason behind the whole charade. Obviously you don't trust me, hence the need to run the test which to me is quite humiliating and insulting.

In this case her permission would be needed because she's the one in custody of the child while he works here in Nigeria

If u find yourself in such a situation where ur husband doubts the paternity of ur child and calls for a DNA test . Are u saying will rather allow a hole in your marriage which would lead to divorce than get the DNA test done ? So as to shame him at the end ?
