fxmaxony:Let's see. Do we still have the following today? National Directorate of Employment (NDE). Federal Environment Protection Agency (FEPA). Lagos Third Mainland Bridge. SSS, DMI and NIA National defense college Aso villa National assembly complex. Option A4 And the list goes on. . . My guess is that they are ALL THERE today. If that is how to loot, I welcome that! What we have today is looting with NOTHING to show for it. ![]() |
koruji:And you think that stealing elections cannot lead to the end of Nigeria? But it happened under Obasanjo, brazenly, yet nothing happened. What makes you think stealing of elections or a coup will disintegrate Nigeria? The only things that can lead to that is marginalization of Ndigbo. You can take that to the bank. |
koruji:Are you even following Dede1's point at all? He says that if GEJ rigs the polls (as he may be planning), he loses legitimacy which makes coup against his government a fair game. That is what I understand by his statements. I wonder which is worse anyway: a stolen mandate or a coup. I think both are the same thing. |

koruji:Did it ever occur to you and your group that maybe IBB actually loved Nigeria and saw Nigeria as greater than himself, unlike your brother "O"? Does it ever occur to you that if IBB was 10% as evil as your brother the O, he would have killed all in his way to power and nothing would have happened? He was a military leader. He could have done anything with your people and all their noise and nothing would have happened. The man simply loves Nigeria and wants Nigeria to remain one. Thats all. But then, folks like you can never see that! |
koruji:Calm down pal, I believe that the worst person has already ruled Nigeria. His name begins with the letter "O". IBB is coming to operate in a better environment -democracy, where he would have real technocrats to work with to bring about the Nigeria that we will all be proud of. He is the only one in this race courageous enough, intelligent and charismatic enough to bring about such transformation. |
To refresh your memory, IBB achieved the following in office: The establishment of new Universities and Polytechnics. The movement of Federal Capital from Lagos to Abuja. The reorganization of the Nigeria Police into seven Zonal Operation Areas. The unemployment grant to States for agricultural programmes and vocational skills. Establishment of Mass Mobilization for Self-Reliance Social Justice and Economic Recovery (MAMSER). A 46-member Panel to review the 1979 Constitution. The creation of Akwa Ibom, Katsina, Abia, Anambra, Delta, Jigawa, Kebbi, Kogi, Osun, Yobe and Taraba States and over 136 new Local Government Areas with take off grants. Direct funding of Local Government Areas from the Federal Government to make them autonomous. National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA). National Orientation Agency (NOA) formerly known as the ‘‘Mass Mobilization for Self-Reliance Social Justice and Economic Recovery’’ (MAMSER). National Directorate of Employment (NDE). Federal Environment Protection Agency (FEPA). Lagos Third Mainland Bridge. Federal Urban Mass Transit programme. The 1991 National Population Census (NPC). National Women Commission. The Directorate of Food, Roads and Rural Infrastructure (DIFRRI). Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). National Housing Fund. Commission of the Onne Fertilizer Plant in Rivers State. The 260 million dollars Petrol Chemical Plant in Kaduna. Establishment of four (4) bodies in one day National Population Commission, National Revenue Mobilization Commission, Code of Conduct Bureau and Code of Conduct Tribunal. NNPC Escravos- Lagos Gas Pipeline at Egbin, National Electoral Commission (NPC). Elesa Eleme Refinery in River State. Children Trust Fund. Resumed diplomatic relations with Israel Central Bank Autonomy Decree, Others were: NAFDAC; Ecomog; Reduction of import duties on newsprint, etc. |
^^ Yes I said let his records speak for him. IBB did a lot of things. He didn't do only Abiola for 8 years. ![]() If you read previous pages, you will see the list of his achievements. To summarize all his years in office to one incident is most disingenuous. |
koruji:So which of the quote is a lie? Is it a lie that IBB wants to finally end the civil war? Or that if Nigeria integrates Ndigbo, we can actually start to build a nation from scratch? The man mentioned things he would do. I have no reason to doubt him because his record in office speaks for him. I cannot ditch him because of Abiola. Period. |
Dede1:My brother Dede takes no prisoners. ![]() |

My list: Abiriba Anaedo (or Nnewi) Awka Ohafia Igbere Uratta Aro Izzi Mgbo Ezaa Ngwa Ika Ndoki Asa Etche Orsu Onicha (Ado) Isu Ehugbo Ukwuani Ndoni Aboh Ogba Ikwerre Nri |
Abagworo:You are wrong Abagworo! There is nothing like Isuama in Nnewi proper (Nnewi north). Nnewi proper has a subgroup (if you are really interested in knowing ) called Anaedo made up of Nnewi, Ichi, Oraifite and parts of Ozubulu. They are together called Anaedo. They were balkanized between Nnewi North and Ekwusigo L.G.A.s If you do things properly, they would form one Anaedo subgroup. Nnewi south local government area has some Orsu like Osumenyi, Ukpor, Utuh, and Akwaihedi. The Nnewi south local government area also has Isuama like Amichi. Nnewi town is made up of Nnewi only (like Awka). So, if you do it by subgroup, you will get Anaedo. If you do it by broad group (including those who identify themselves as Nnewi eg those in Nnewi south LGA) you will get a bigger Nnewi group. You can't tell a person how to identify himself (per those in Nnewi south LGA). Get your facts straight. |
Solomon227:Have you ever heard of the term "saving your @$$" before? The governors are after their own interests. Nobody knows who they will vote for until the day of the primaries. If I even guess, they may be planning something sinister because they insisted on gubernatorial primaries coming before the presidential primaries. I wouldn't sleep if I were you. |
Metalgong.:hehehe! ![]() Ogene dike! Ana m ekene! Ezigbo nwa afor! ![]() |
TewMuch:Oh yes I do! I'm tired of clueless and gutless leaders. We need change and it cannot be brought about by a siddon dey look president. IBB is THE LEADER. |
TewMuch:The point is that Nigerians can easily identify a problem but fail woefully when it comes to identifying solutions to the problem. The national assembly just concluded a constitutional amendment. And Jonathan couldn't even mention resource control. He has not done anything in that direction even by simply lobbying PDP members to move it forward. It never even showed up on his agenda of government. He is more concerned about staying in office. I need a courageous president of Nigeria. |
^^ So, who will deliver resource control? I know it is not Jonathan. Nor any other contestants so far. |
S-South monarchs demand resource control By Tony Nyong Uyo—Monarchs in the South South region ended their two days retreat in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, stressing the need for the issues of fiscal federalism and resource control to be resolved as recommended by the Technical Committee on the Niger Delta. The royal fathers according to a communique, read by the chairman of the South-South Monarchs’ Forum, HRM King Edmund Dr. M. Daukoru, Mingi XII , observed that the nmnesty initiative of the Federal Government was a welcome development that had helped to restore peace to the Niger Delta. “Beyond the amnesty, the fundamental issues of fiscal federalism/resource control should be resolved through the upward review of the derivation principle as recommended by the Technical Committee on the Niger Delta.” They further observed that the Goodluck Jonathan and Mohammed Sambo presidency was acceptable, as they are capable of steering the ship of the nation to change the plight of the citizenry and that they should freely exercise their fundamental rights to contest in the next election to sustain and consolidate the progress made so far in their service to the fatherland. They noted that for there to be a free and fair elections, the election should be based on the principle of one man one vote, free of violence, intimidation or rigging. Other points of the communiqué were as follows: that traditional rulers should, without being partisan, sensitize their subjects about the forthcoming registration exercise and the elections. That traditional rulers should be empowered through the constitutionalisation of their specific roles; and that in order to achieve their aspiration for constitutional empowerment, the South-south Monarchs’ Forum should network with the organizations of monarchs of the other geo=political zones in the country. The theme of the retreat was “Strengthening Security & Co-operation for peace and Development in the Niger Delta Region.” There were four sub-themes with the discussion sessions being chaired differently by HRM Emmanuel Sideso, Abe I- Ovie of Uwie, HRM King Prof. T. J. T Princewill Amachree XI – Amanyanabo of Kalabari, His Eminence Edidem Ekpo Okon Abasi Otu V- Obong of Calabar and HRE King Alfred Diete Spiff-Seriyali II- Amanyanabo of Twon Brass. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/09/s-south-monarchs-demand-resource-control/ |

TewMuch:I keep telling you that you are a kid. 1990s is not today. If you are intelligent enough, you would notice that IBB's top priority is to finally heal the civil war wounds. I know that in your extremely selfish world, you can't see that. Not to worry, the rest of us see. The only reason IBB would have wanted to assuage the Yoruba in 1990s was because Ndigbo could not be counted to stand with the North in case of trouble. If IBB finally heals that wound and integrate Ndigbo into Nigerian mainstream (which will happen irrespective of what your people do), then, I can assure you that you cannot threaten Nigeria in any way. ![]() This is the point I want Igbo readers to understand too. IBB wants to build a nation out of Nigeria. |
TewMuch:The man enjoys more support from YOUR corner of Nigeria, so what are you talking about? The "agberos" are actually Nigerians. ![]() |
TewMuch:My friend, the more you talk the more you expose your stupidity and infancy. You think your people can threaten Nigeria? In fact I would now work harder to help elect IBB. ![]() |
Meanwhile enjoy the declaration pictures of your next president.
|
TewMuch:So now Obasanjo is not a man of his own? He is a kite tied to IBB? Why can't you people focus on the failures of your own people than trying to lynch a man who actually empowered you in Nigeria. If IBB did not support power shift to the west, do you think it would have happened? Why do you enjoy stabbing people in the back? Na wa! |
TewMuch:Answer your brother. . . |
TewMuch:Another question for your WAEC, who organised the worst elections in the history of the WHOLE WORLD: Answer: Your brother Olusegun Obasanjo. |
^^ By the way who killed Bola Ige? |
TewMuch:Did you say IBB killed Abiola and his wife ![]() ![]() ![]() ??Chei! My friend go and write your WAEC exams. ![]() |
