#355, MILLION NAIRA FBN FRAUD, MAN PETITIONS CP OVER ATTEMPTS AT HIS LIFE.

VONNEWS

Following a petition forwarded to the commissioner of police, Lagos State command on 20th may 2019,A man's life is in danger owing to some forces operating from firstbank Nigeria plc, sequel to a fraud case of Three hundred and fifty five million naira which transpired at the IBG wing of the bank in 2013.

Omeli Humphrey Darlington the petitioner who was a dispatch rider at the FINAL - IBG, Iganmu, Lagos at that time, has notified the police commissioner of the attempts of some powers from the bank to terminate his life in order to cover up what he termed a fraud concertedly committed by one Mr. Jaiyesimi Abimbola - a senior staff of FBN and his cohorts within the bank and outside.

According to the petitioner, he carried out his duties diligently as a dispatch rider without any blemish until sometime in Sept 2013,when the unfortunate happened. Humphrey conveyed through the petition that he reported to work on this fateful day and as usual was sent on errand to dispatch document to different places, and that quite unusually, his boss (Abimbola) summoned him to return to the office.

On arrival at the office, Humphrey said that strange questions such as who handed the document you went to dispatch to you emanated despite the fact that the pre - dispatch protocols conformed to the official norms which had guided operations since inception of his duties there.

He noted that he was eventually handed over to the security post of the bank before he was taken to a police station surprisingly,and that at the police station, he was asked to admit that he submitted or dispatched documents in error.
Humphrey said that if was at that instance that he knew that something was amiss, stressing that his boss especially have committed a fraud and wanted to use him as scapegoat to cover up their transfer of the sum of #355, 000,000,00 from a certain account olams Nigeria Ltd, a company opposite the FBI regional branch in iganmu.

The petitioner highlighted that a cover up arrangement was used by the first bank team which involved departmental heads and the security personnel,to set him up until he was detained, tortured and charged to court.
Humphrey said that his torture and detentions happened at a different police station, before a magistrate redress in court set him free.

According to him, he filed a suit for the abuse of his fundamental human rights and was granted judgment by the high court which awarded him a compensation to over 17 million naira due to the weight of the allegation. Humphrey stated that prior to this triumph, these evil men operating within the realm of Nigeria's banking sector breaches the law, kidnapped him bruised/threatened him severally until he now suffered auditory problem that make mucous gush out of his ear presently.

Humphrey noted in the 10 page petition to the CP, that the day he was granted bail from the first police station security personnels, using the first bank vehicle, bundled him and tried to take him to some strange destination. Inside the vehicle, the security men and a mobile police officer, dealt series of blows on him using the butt of a gun which made blood gush out of his mouth and nose. This was done despite the bail condition fulfilled during his first arrest, he was taken to Ikoyi police station after his fight for safety as they obviously had the intention to kidnap or maybe kill him to cover up the fraud accusation First Bank officials committed. This made him summon up courage and fought his way to safety by taking a drastic step to violently stop the vehicle, grabbed the key and stopped the engine, all attracted other road users who intervened, leading to the decision of the station to ensure my safety.

Further, Humphrey stated that the FBN power intoxicators manipulated the station until he was charged and sent to prison. This was a torteous experience spanning into months before his bail was perfected, all this is due to the amount involved. Despite all these, he has been getting strange calls, alleniation, victimisation, stigma from people for a crime he was accused of, as a result of this, he hides from one uncompleted building to the other, for fear and hopelessness.

The petition emphasised that his life is in danger and that threats have made him a fugitive inside his home country when he did not commit any crime. He cried that the FBN big men have intensified effort to frustrate him and conceal the fraud by taking steps to seek at the supreme Court through their legal department, instead of obeying the initial judgement.part of the effect made by the petitioner to prove his innocence and unravel the kingpins of the fraud in first bank included letter to the economic & financial crimes Commission - EFCC through his counsel at Falana & Falana chamber to investigate the #355, 000,000,00 fraud.

SOLOMON AKUKWE/LUTH SAGA:
Akukwe family RUNS TO IHRC

@VONNEWS

As the matter of the detention or continuous seizure of their son, Solomon Akukwe by the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH lingers and get knottire , the Akukwe family represented by Ngozi Adenuga, have approached the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) for solution.

Ngozi who is the younger sister of the 'detained' Solomon Akukwe and the first daughter, decided to meet the human rights body after several other efforts did not yield.

Sequel to her complaints to the IHRC, their external solicitor cum secretary, Okon Ita had written to LUTH management to sensitize them on the consequences of rendering a patient, a captive, even when his family have lamented about the deterioration of his mental ill-health and inhuman handling by the LUTH authority.

The IHRC, through the petition wondered why the LUTH will continue to keep a sickman on the grounds that he was brought by a psychologically unstable lover only recently released from a rehab center, and why some staffers of LUTH tampered with the sickman's phone and bank account.

Some of the charges that the missive stated as what LUTH will face if the captivity lingers are; charge for slavery and keeping Solomon Akukwe under servitude; charge for inhuman or degrading treatment etc.

The body has assured that relevant international laws will be explored against LUTH in the fight to restore the rights and dignity of Solomon Akukwe.

WOMAN FINGERS LUTH, BLAMES POLICE FOR THE CONTINUOUS SEIZURE OF HER BROTHER IN LAGOS.

@VONNEWS

A middle-aged women, Ngozi Adenuga has cried for help over the weekend as one seidu Marian has dumped her brother Solomon Akukwe for months at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, Idi-Araba with the instruction that no family member should be allowed to see him.

Adenuga alleged conspiracy on the side of the management of LUTH and blamed the Lagos State Police command for this development, because the various petitions she forwarded to the appropriate police quarters were neglected. She wondered why LUTH suddenly mandated its staffs to prevent her and her cousin from seeing Solomon Akukwe whose strange Lover took the psychiatric department due to unstable mental situation. She stressed that her brother Solomon had been under some mental instability with intermittent normalcy after he retired from chevron and sent his legitimate wife and son away.

According to her, Marian Seidu met her brother in a rehabilitation facility in Abuja (FCT) where she was also being revived from complications resulting from drug addiction. Adenuga noted that since that meeting, Seidu had totally taken advantage of the occasional abnormalcy of Solomon to manipulate him to the point that she had strangely withdrawn over 12million naira from his account mysteriously, leaving Solomon's immediate, and remote families in the dark and frustrated, pointing out that Marian Seidu, a native of Jos plateau state perfected her criminal tendencies when she realised my brothers financial status and professional background and immediately relocated to my brother's place in Yaba, In his lagos residence.

She added that because she and her two sisters were in Abuja when Seidu absconded with their brother, she (Marian) was able to 'confiscate 'him for pecuniary reasons. Ngozi Adenuga also talked about how some neighbors at Solomon's compound in Lagos called her attention to the fact that Marian had worsened Solomon's Ill-health with hard drugs and alcohol, that she had to rush to Lagos to meet them. According to Ngozi, she arrived Lagos to find that Marian was in charge of Solomon's belongings, including his bank account. Adenuga said she instructed Marian to take Solomon to Chevron clinic where he had always been taken care of, but rather, Seidu resulted to taking him to LUTH for pecuniary reasons.

"The shocking thing is that since LUTH has been in custody of Solomon, they have acted strangely and proved that Seidu actually seized the man and dump him in the hospital with an inviolable condition that only her should see him. " One day i struggled to enter the LUTH department and found certain members of staff operating my brother's my phone. When I challenged them due to the fact that they would be accessing vital infos, including his account, they turned against me and asked the security to bundle me out. "Since then, they ensured that no one from Akukwe family comes to LUTH to see Solomon " Ngozi said.

Discovering this gang up and conspiratorial tendencies, i petitioned the CP, Lagos State. And I was refereed to SCID, Panti where I was told that the Covid-19 has affected everything, that petitions are no longer accepted and treated. "To my greatest shock, i got calls from my security man that an invitation came from the same SCID, due to a petition it received from LUTH, the partners of Marian Seidu, my elder brothers abductor", Adenuga cried. Wondering why SCID took the petition from LUTH, after rejecting her own, and why LUTH had maintained a hard stance against her , only to encourage Marian Seidu who is milking him dry. Nobody from the Akukwe family knows if Solomon is still alive, Adenuga needs the intervention of relevant authorities and Nigerians in general as strangers have seized his brother and are currently tampering with his wealth, not even bothered about his health condition.

Adenuga also lamented about the fact that all the legitimate effort she adopted to free her brother which included her lawyer visiting and liaising with the legal team of LUTH for a panacea proved abortive. She condemned the attitude of the LUTH's lawyer, who promised to Wade into the matter when he was contacted by my lawyer, only to know that they petitioned the SCID against her.

According to aggrieved and bewildered Adenuga who talked about how her life is under threat as different unknown numbers calls her, unknown men also came to look for her, she got to know about the strange men from the security man where she resides. she stated that LUTH recently declared that the only one who could take sick Solomon Akukwe from their detention is Seidu Marian, without making any efforts to urgently invite her, despite knowing that Solomon's health was deteriorating. Funny enough since the imbroglio began months ago Marian Seidu had never contacted or pick calls from any family member of the man in her captivity and has never openly come to LUTH to resolve issues.

MICHEAL AKINOLA

Facts have emerged on how a 42-year old Daniel Bob Ibeaji, prime suspect in the murder of popular Abuja businessman and owner of Firman generating sets, Chief Ignatus Odunukwe, was arrested and the Police officer that led the operation in a thick forest in the suburb of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja.
P.M.EXPRESS reports the super officer is SP Tijani Taofiq, who was then officer in charge of Monitoring Unit, Zone 2 Onikan, Lagos.
He was given 7 days to arrest the killers of Odunukwe by the AIG, Iliyasu Ahmed and he swung into action, moved to FCT with his team and tracked the prime suspect, Ibeaji, in Abuja within the mandate given while equally arresting seven other suspects in  Lagos.
However, SP Tijani Taofiq, who  is now the DPO Ewokoro Division in Ogun State, was redeployed by the AIG after he arrived Lagos with the high profile suspect, Ibeaji, under controversial circumstances and was asked to hand over to one SP Ubah Adams, who was ascribed the glory wrongly in the media.  It was gathered that the arrest of the dreaded Ibeaji took a lot of Intelligence and professionalism as displayed by SP Tijani  Taofiq in order to track Ibeaji who had 21 phone Sim cards, which he used to perpetrate his criminal acts. He was seen as invincible before SP Taofiq took over the investigation and demystified him.
SP Tijani Taofiq joined the Nigeria Police in 2000 after he graduated from the University where he studied Business Administration and holds a  BSC and MBA. He had worked in different capacities in the Nigeria Police before he was appointed OC Monitoring at Zone 2 Command, when he unmasked Ibeaji and his gang.
SP Taofiq was able to achieve the feat as a result of his intelligence, diligence and humility including mastering of the Police job which had enabled him to perform  excellently. He has attended many operation missions both in Nigeria and abroad including peacekeeping in Easti-mor and Liberia in 2010 as regional commander.The arrrest of Ibeaji exposed the activities of the dreaded gang that had caused bitterness and sorrow to many families as he was said to have made fortune through abduction and kidnapping of targets before he was eventually arrested by SP Taofiq.
Ibeaji gave a startling revelation to detectives on how he conspired with three others to snuff life out of Odunukwe at the Atican Beach Resort in Ajah area of Lagos State on December 1, 2019 and took possession of the deceased properties worth about N900m in FCT, Abuja.

His queer operation is going into business transaction with his victims, fraudulently collect relevant documents with intention to effect payment which will never see the light of the day. He moves into stage two by kidnapping unsuspecting victims  subsequently kill them and take possession of their properties with delight while all such documents retrieve from deceased will be incorporated in his name as the new owner.
His mode of operation was strange when compared with that of Evans the kidnapper. His three accomplices: Arinze Igwe, 26; Solomon Cletus, 30; and Israel Obigaremu, 35, who were arrested alongside, also stated their roles in the dastardly act. Ibeaji, who claimed to have studied Medicine and Surgery in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, disclosed that the deceased was first hit with an axe on the head before he was injected with a lethal injection and strangled.Trouble started after the deceased, who was into real estate development and gold mining, was approached by the prime suspect in respect of one of his buildings he displayed for sale in Abuja. The late Odunukwe left his Ikoyi, Lagos home on December 1, having informed his family that he was going to meet the supposed buyer but he never returned home.His body, which was cut into pieces, was recovered by operatives in Ogombo forest along Ajah Road, while his SUV was tracked to Atican Beach Resort.

It is expected that Police officers while carrying out official assignments such as unraveling high profile cases, should be encouraged in order to boost their morale and not the rather shabby disposition as was the case with SP Taofiq.

He said that despite the dependable health and medical system of the advanced nation, the virus attacked and killed a huge population of people, leaving their health technologists handicapped, Okwara wandered that if the ugly situation found Nigeria or Africa conducive enough for it's spread and ammihilation, it certainly would have caused what would be a cosmocide that would litter the streets with corpses.

He blamed the leaders who have cost control in this regard due to what he referred to as the, scratch-myback, I -scratch-your-back tradition of politicians. Okwara said that the transport unions'leaders and their numerous agents, otherwise known as 'Agberos' are beneficiaries of post-election political and leadership opportunities, pointing that they are the hoodlums used for campaigns, intimidation, manipulation and rigging, the reasons he said the government in power looks away while they abuse the citizens and usurp undue power against the people.

He however urged Nigerians to be law abiding while remaining conscious of their predicament, so as to stay determined to right the wrong in the system, legitimately, condeming the trend of things which has made the laws and polices only favorable to the high and mighty in Nigeria, to abandoning the poor masses to wallow in penury and hopelessness.

LADY, 28, DUMPS HER 65 YEARS OLD LOVER IN LUTH AFTER STEALING HIS MILLIONS.
@VON news

The family of a 65 years old retired chevron staff, Solomon Chukwudi Akukwe presently is fighting tooth and nail to secure the release of their son from the Lagos university teaching hospital, LUTH, Idi- Araba Lagos, after he was abandoned there by his 28year old lover, Mariam Seidu who also left an instruction that the man should not be released to any family members.

According to the petition written by the younger sister of solomon who suffers intermittent mental disorder Ngozi Adenuga, Akukwe and Seidi met at a rehabilitation center in Abuja where both received treatment for different cases and became lovers. The petition stated that Akukwe was at the rehab to be stabilized while Seidu was there to be delivered from drugs addiction. It was learnt that as soon as Akukwe left the rehab place, Seidu discovered that he is well to do, tricked him to live his sister's home in Abuja and both of them eloped to Lagos where the man has a house.

In Lagos Seidu became the Alpha and Omega of Akukwe's life as she took over his affairs and his bank transaction, confiscating his ATM card with which she withdraws money at will. This was possible because the man suffers mental imbalance from time to time according to Adenuga's petition and because his first wife and son had already left the house due to frustration. It was realized also that another woman who Akukwe married after his first also abandoned him after siphoning huge amount of money in his account.

Akukwe's sister found out that Seidu's dangerous ploys might be to manipulate him unto death in other to claim his asset, having known the family history that Akukwe has no brother, and parent, she decided to report to the police to look into the situation, especially as it is only she and her younger sister that is the only family around to combat their brother's criminal lover.

The petition unveiled that Adenuga's determination to save her brothers from the claws of Seidu, met a brick wall as she realize that Seidu had taken her brother to LUTH, after worsening his illness by feeding him constantly with Cigarette and alcohol, Marian Seidu also left an order that the management should only relate with her.

Moreso, Adenuga found to her chagrin that even some of the official at LUTH has access to her brothers phone, and that they too tampered with her sick brother's funds at will, development which made her think that there is a big conspiracy between Seidu and the health workers, perhaps to help drain Akukwe account till its empty.

Part of the petition reads thus; "Sir, there is no doubt that there is a dangerous conspiracy going on, and our ultimate fear is that these parties affirmationed are out to kill my brother and confiscate his asset.
" We are worried that if nothing is done quickly, their overt and covert desire will come to fruition and will lead to dangerous inter-family and social clashes - -"

Adenuga's suspicion and fear heightened when this strange lover (Seidu) blatantly disregarded the instruction of the family sent to her through Akukwe's drivers that her brother should not be taken to Luth, but should be taken to either a Chevron facility or a psychiatric hospital for care, yet Akuekwe was taken to LUTH. In other to fight for her brother, Adenuga said she had abandoned her business and family in Abuja. In addition, the body language of the LUTH workers is scary and incomprehensible.

Adenuga was also shocked about what she witnessed one faithful day when she visited LUTH to see her brother Akuekwe and was bundled to the security post, " I was disgraced without being allow to see my brother to know his present state. Even till now, nobody, except Seidu, is allowed to visit my brother,
How could it be that the family members of a patient would not be allowed to see their person only an outsider? " she said.

Why must the hospital also have access to a sick man account when he has family? and when his lover who brought him is still around? Why is the LUTH refusing to release or discharge Akukwe for proper care since they abandon him in a dark and lonely Hall? " She quizzed.

When VOICE OUT NIGERIA NEWS called Seidu as regards this development, she sounded unperturbed and cautioned that no one has the right to allege her wrongly.

VONN also visited the LUTH with other journalists and realized that Akukwe was intact in a lonely confinement, and that from every indication it appears that the LUTH may be waiting for instructions from Seidu for their next line of action.

However, Adenuga has maintained that her brother should be released to the family so that he could be properly catered for.

Policies Exploiting The Curfew Lockdown To Milk Citizens
Chief Nwokedi

@VONNews

The president Ndi-Igbo Boru Otu Association of Nigeria, High Chief C. C. Nwokedi recently lamented about the pain presently suffered by Nigerians in the hands of policemen, who take undue advantage of the lockdown and ease lockdown policies to drain the resources of the people. Nwokedi condemned this situation in his office when journalists interviewed him on the state of the Nation.

According to the fire spitting leader, Nigerians deserve some fair treat in the hands of the authorities because they are just coming out of a torturous lockdown whereby they lacked basic amenities and were deprived of economic activities. This alone has a negative impact that will linger for a while, adding that the nature of the Nigerian society will never allow her citizens total compliance. For these reasons, the president of the Ndi Igbo Buruotu Association says that the police should enforce with empathy, knowing that the whole essence of the Lockdown is to save lives and not to terminate, maltreat or intimidate persons.

Nwokedi expressed shock at the rate in which the police have resulted in the demand of huge sums of cash before letting anyone out of their grip, stressing that this phenomenon has created a richer police and poorer citizens.

On the cost of transportation, Nwokedi said that government has succeeded in creating avenue for citizens to pay higher even when there is no extra income.
He noted that government can review some of these modalities so that this leadership can have a human face.

On the bickering among some of the members of the Ndi-Igbo Buru Otu Association of Nigeria who alleged that the president, High Chief CC Nwokedi must have gotten palliative materials from the government on behalf of the association is a false insinuation. Nwokedi emphasized that the relief packages that he distributed to the vulnerable came from his personal purse as an individual expressing his philanthropic nature. He severely debunked the claims of some members that he shared what was meant for the association.

He however urged members to remain law abiding in the face of all these challenges so that no law enforcement agent will have access to exploit or oppress them. Urging them to be patient and hopeful, as things will soon fall into place to create a conducive atmosphere for them to thrive in their various businesses. He also stated that the members of Ndi-Igbo Buru Otu Association of Nigeria are focused dogged and productive in their various endeavours and will continue to be even in the phase of this sordid time.

Nwokedi also used this medium to affirm that the association has been at the forefront of donating to the police and supporting their efficiency, pointing that the welfare package of Ndi-Igbo Buru Otu Association of Nigeria is super and second to none.

Our parents feeds us on a daily basis through the business they do, now asking them to stay at home is okay as long as there is provision for that. How can a good government treat her people like animals, knowing that the children who are the future leaders of tomorrow are living without food most especially those ones from poor homes. In the first place are we not supposed to be placed on social allowances as citizens of the giant of Africa?

Children stay at home,no electricity to watch TV, no money to buy fuel, when they are down with illness there is no money for hospital bills. I strongly believe that any good government should consider the future leaders foremost.

As one of the talented child in Nigeria and also a publicity secretary for Talented kids, we engage ourselves on talent shows on TV. In this case where is the light for people to watch our TV program. Just look at the youths in the streets who on daily basis go out to work for survival, now that they are subjected to sit at home compulsorily, what will they do to earn a living? We all know that an idle mind is the devil's workshop, anguish will begin to overtake them, boredom and frustration will be their lot.

Nairaland GeneralAocoed: Accountability Problem Tears Unions,management Apart by onochurch(op): 1:21am On Mar 19, 2020
AOCOED:
ACCOUNTABILITY PROBLEM TEARS UNIONS,MANAGEMENT APART
@ VONN NEWS;
Ruled by the demands of the entire Congress,the chairman of the four unions of the Adediran Ogunsanya College of Education,Oto-Ijanikin (AOCOED) have unanimously clamoured for the removal of the Registrar of the College,Muyideen Shehu and the Bursar,the duo the unions referred to as associates and partners in the Gross mismanagement and poor accountability which have retrogressively affected the school for years.

The unions COEASU;NASU;SSUCOEN&NACEATON which held a world conference at the school to brief the press on the happenings in the school that have led to different crisis maintained that AOCOED have suffered untold hardship and underdevelopment due to the mismanagement and poor accountability perpetrated by the Registrar and the Bursar.
According to the chairman of the unions,about a week ago,the management invited the four unions to a meeting without agenda,and sequel,the unions demanded explanations to pending problems of the school,but when the management proved incapacitated in matters that required urgent attention and response,the irk of the unionists was drawn.

At the conference which held at the Secretariat of COEASU,the unions through their chairmen alleged that the registrar had been the bane of peace and progress as far as AOCOED is concerned,since he emerged as the registrar of the college through imposition in 2002.
Parts of their allegations included that the registrar was unable to give any light to the memorandum of understanding(MOU) keeping UBA and the various communication masts on the ground of AOCOED;that he,together with his cohort,the Bursar,signs college cheques,receive and spend funds without the knowledge of the provost;that there exists an unlawful liaison between the United Bank for Africa and the registrar which aids him to defraud the college;the incapacitation of the procurement department and it's replacement with a purchasing officer that is his stooge;that the Bursar negotiates and accepts funds meant for the college without the knowledge of the provost;that the registrar aided by the Bursar introduces and executes white elephant projects in order to siphon the college;that they use Bethel,Result managers,internet providers(cyber space) and other guises to drain college funds;that they are guilty of age falsification and illegitimate approval of sabbatical leave for a person who just spent 3 years in service instead of 6 years,etc.

Further allegations by the unions are that the registrar resorted to using armed policemen from the Ijanikin Police Station to harass,intimidate and brutalise union members right inside the college,a situation they said happens a violation. According to them,one Mr. Haruna of the maintenance department was recently ruffled and bundled by the police after he was publicly handcuffed.

The unionists condemned a situation where there is no principal signatory to AOCOED account,a reason they feared that he college account is open to graeter siphoning
Describing the recent action of the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on education that requested the unionists to report daily to Alausa from 8am to 4pm as an action or request in abberation,the agitating lecturers,other unionists said it is unfair for the S.A who they learnt is a lawyer to take action or conclude without listening to the unionists who are only fighting to correct age-long mismanagement.

They also lamented the fact that the United Bank for Africa had operated inside AOCOED for 16 years without any MOU.
The unionists submitted that they never wished to resort to using the press but were compelled by the media action of the registrar in the nation newspaper. They said that it was as a result of the police actions that the media men were attracted to the school.

Consequently the unionists said they sent words to the S.A on education to the Lagos State Governor to be fair in handling the affairs of the four unions of AOCOED who are merely asking that records should be put straight and that the IGR base of the school should be made strong through transparency and accountability. VONN reporter gathered that
Similarly,the unionists said that a letter had been conveyed to the DPO of Ijanikin division to desist from committing illegality by joining forces with the elements that have been rascally and lawless in their approaches.
The unionists have however vowed to resist all attempts by anyone or group to continue to hoodwink the college community while stealing and commiting different forms of fraud to the disadvantage of the college. They said that no group can be more lawful and peaceful than AOCOED unionists,stressing that inspite of these acts of injustice,oppression,mismanagement and corruption,the unions have ensured that AOCOED students are writing their examinations.
