ClassCaptain:you are so right. Never got tired of reading the concubine. It has a good setting and a powerful narrative style. |
olatunjithomas:The Iroko tree. |
I would have been disappointed if their tribe wasn't talked about here. We are going no where in this country as long as religion and ethnicity is put above our constitution and nationality. |
blackpanda:The last time I checked, ondo and Bayelsa are states in Nigeria. |
Sincerely, I will advice you not to buy the washing machine for several reasons. (1) Do not borrow to buy since you don't have the money (2) she is trying to use emotional blackmail to get you to do her bidding, and once she succeed, that will be her weapon. (3) Try to wash your clothes alone, if she truly care, she will take it over from you (4) Only buy the washing machine when you can, and when she least expect it. |

I have a friend who makes an average of 120k monthly. Don't really much about the business. But I remember him telling me that he buys the software from jamb, and other examination bodies. |
mousco:Don't even start, if you are from ogbe ijoh, go and ask questions about what the Aladja's did to them during the 1997 conflict. I guess they should be able to give you figures of people that Aladja people killed. Maybe this time around, you guys will go hire mercenaries from Libya. |
jefy:My brother, I am not adding fuel to the burning fire. I hate oppression of any kind. I am sorry to say this, the ijaws and the itsekires are also known for trying to push away people who accommodated them when they have no where to go. Nobody likes to be cheated and oppressed. |
jefy:I am so sorry to say. Go back and ask questions. That land was never yours, it was given to you people for farming purpose, and now you people want to drive away the rightful owners of the land. The ijwas are always known for things like these. |
I have been telling anybody who cares to listen that the war that will break out from this country won't start from anywhere but the military . I say this because, the way Northern military kills civilians in the West, and south, is very different from the way military men from other regions kills in the north. It is with this anger that one day as a northern military personal will kill a civilian from another region, he will be killed by another military man from another region . And then the shooting will start from there, and begin to spread to other regions and a full blown war will start. I know what I am talking about. |
calmdude:Fupre |
madridguy:I have never be this angry in a long while. This is pure wickedness. |
Good evening Nairalanders, dont know if this is the right section to post this. But I just need to let people know of my experience in the hand of glo network today. This is not the first time glo will be deducting my airtime without any services render to me. But the one that happened this evening is so annoying. Bought 1500 airtime this morning to subscribe for 3g that is 1400, but couldn't subscribe, probably because I still have like 1g plus. So I had to wait till this evening, only for me to want to subscribe , and I got an sms that I have insufficient credit, shocked with the sms, I decided to check my balance, only to see 1350 remaining, so I decided to call glo customer care line, and I explained to the call agent what happened, and she said, I was been charged for caller ring tone. My God, I was shocked, because I don't have a caller tone, I have called my line several times this month, in fact from the last time I subscribed to this morning, believe me, I have never heard any special tone from my phone. So I was trying to explain to the call agent that I have never subscribe to any caller tone, and by the way, the last time I checked, caller tone is 50, correct me if I am wrong. What got me really annoyed was another agent in the background asking her to hang the call on me. And before I knew it, she did. Get this, is not about the 150 that was deducted from me, it's about the fact that these networks are stealing from us and rubbing it in our faces. Otherwise how can a dissatisfied customer complain from stealing from her, and then the next thing to do is to shut her out. This is not fair, this is inhuman. Pls Mod, help me push it to the front page, so that other people can lend their voices. |
hotmas911:OK. Pls can I have your phone no. |
panthera4:How I wish I could talk to your fiancee, this is the same mistake a cousin of my made, until she became 43. My aunt have to call their head pastor to plead with the pastor that since they will not allow her marry somebody out of Christ Embassy, then the pastor should look for a husband for her. When a man finally came, the first question put before her is if the man is from Christ Embassy. She said no, and then they came up with, oh don't marry somebody that is not a member of Christ Embassy. But this time around, she have to take her chance. And she never discuss the marriage issue with the church again. She just went ahead and did traditional marriage. Your fiancee should be wise. And let me advice you, I am a woman, do not ever let her pull you away from your church. |
hotmas911:Pls forgive my been inquisitive, is the 10,000naira the profit from one hectare ,and is it for one planting season. I await your response. |
charles316:My brother, na the same question I dey ask since. |
mbaboy:great |
Well done oga hotmas911, I didn't quite get the explanation on ROI. Could you Pls explain better. |
doublewisdom:very true. |
The day my younger sister's husband physically abused her, the guy witness the beast in me. My sister baptismal name is patient, the guy knew that and wanted to abuse it. I told him if he ever tries it again, he will have himself to blame. It's been 4years now, and no report of abuse. |
gypsey:I guess you didn't read my write up with an open mind. Probably you read it, looking for what point to criticise me on. I didn't say God is punishing anybody. I am not stalking on the guy like you said. He is still my friend, I see him in church most times. In fact I am praying for them to have their children . The whole essence of my write up, is that our conscience should be alive to help us judge between right and evil. I am in no competition with anybody. For those who are married, i am happy for them, and for those that are not like me, we will marry some day. |
I have read so many people's views and all that. But I will share my view with the stories below .My elder bro married the girl that he dated for 11 years just 2months ago. Truth is my family didn't like the girl, including me, but every time I always asked myself, if that girl is my kid sister, would I have wished that a guy dumps her after 11 years. The answer obviously is no. Just few weeks ago, I asked her how did my brother propose to her, she said my brother didn't propose, but they just knew that they will get married. That guy knew he wasn't going to marry that girl, and he knew long before that day that he broke the relationship. This is my observation, and I don't want anybody to agree with me, because of how difficult things are in the economy, so many guys out there are looking for soft landing. That is why when I meet a guy for the first time and he asking me what I do for a living, I just them I am working as an house help to somebody, or learning a skill. I met a guy around 2007 or 2008, and them we started a relationship, a friend came in one day and asked me if I was dating the guy and I said yes, and he she told me that the guy has a girl that he has been dating for 8years and that the lady is 36 years already, while the guy then was 32, when I confronted him, he didn't deny it, but rather he told me that he never promised the girl marriage . He said he doesn't love the girl anymore, that it is me he wants now, and even proposed marriage right there. I remember telling him to his face that, I have conscience, that God will not forgive me if I agree to marry him, that if that girl opens her month to curse me, God will honour it with the speed of light. After begging for almost a year, when he knew I wasn't going to bend, he finally married that lady. This guy them was very rich, handsome. He is a professional diver. Everybody wanted me to marry him, cos things were very difficult for us then, didn't know where the next male was going to come from, but I said no, cos I didn't want to contribute to anybody's down fall. Today the guy is 40 and the lady is 44, but no child. Though I am not married, but every time I think back, I am happy with the decision I took rejecting that marriage proposal. People don't have conscience anymore, their conscience is dead, so they can afford to live their life the way they deem fit. I feel sorry for the girl. If I knew her, I will ask her to just allow God have his way. It won't be easy, but with God and time, she will be healed. |
pet4ril:Her pains is not about the financial help her family gave the guy, the abortions or the Six years she wasted with the guy. But that he was quick to propose to another within the space of 4 months. That is why I don't give a guy my money in a relationship. I forbid with everything I have. In fact, the moment a guy starts asking me for money in a relationship, the moment I turn my back on you, that relationship is over. |
yinkus204:so many people are in the dark as regard the amnesty agreement. The folks enjoying the amnesty are not the real militants . Trust me |
Coraje:so true with your write up. I sleep between 9,8,7,6 hours during week days, and less during weekends, that's because I will make up the shortfall during the day. I don't joke with my sleep oh |
Oh IMT, the school that took away my colour, fat and beauty. I could relate with 2, 5 and 7. Left over six years ago. I just hope the school is wearing a good look now. Back then, it was apology. Will be there few weeks time to pick my certificate. |
Pls show me the region that was omitted?
