Chekitaut: All these require a warehouse, but for Cement u can use an open ground but 1m cant get u a good deal for cement, 1,350,000 will get u a trailer load of cement direct from Dangote. Coke will be more lucrative if u hv fast cooling van just pack by d express sell to street hawkers. Rental service you need a disribution van almost 800k-1m so no money to construct canopy stand or buy plastic chairs.
Cement is the only biz visible wt ur 1m Thanks for your contribution, let me take it one after the other, as for the drinks, I have gotten a location where I will be the sole distributor selling at the company's price. Then for the rental business, I already spoken with a friend who have agreed to make his truck available anytime I have chairs to deliver. Lastly, can dangote supply half truck since I don't have the money for the full truck |

SleekAboki: What is Mr Buhari doing with over $300 billion so far recovered or returned from the corruption fight? shouldn't part of that money be channeled into building more power plants? Why is 3 trillion lying fallow in TSA while the people's economic social and political wellbeing is zero? who is using the interest accrued from these funds? same question I have been meaning to ask. What is Buhari doing with all the recovered loot. Main while, my salary has been reduced by 21.5% since Buhari came in. This is just not fair |

hotmas911: engrgordon sir, Well you are right by saying real estate is wide but what I'm not sure of is your wide knowledge of it. Since we are all here to learn, kindly throw more lights into your claims.I'm so eager to learn My initial claim wasn't for those looking for quick profits which may not last but for those interested in buying and securing the future. We need to think outside the box in this fast growing world and we must be able to study trends. As a real estate expert that you may be, you know that it is the land that appreciates not the building. So instead of buying land and selling it in 2 or 3 month which I believe is myopic or building a rental property which is more out of fear, there are mindblowing real estate ventures that same amount of money will be invested with a guaranteed better return for a very long time. smithmadu: If you need a business... Coca cola dealership will be good for you, because of your time constraints. One, its easy to supervise on a weekly base or monthly.. You can be making 150k profit after expenses which includes salary payments to about 3staff since you are starting small. Your dealership level will be HVO. With one million, rent a shop( don't know what rent looks like where you are), contact any Coca cola sales rep at your area for necessary registration, buy 300empties or more which is 870per empty, order for drinks (both RGBs and One way pack products or anyone of them). You will be expected to sale at company price but if you are lucky to be in a monopolistic area (you know what I mean) you can add like 10naira or more to the price. You have to be buying on a daily bases so as to increase your volume. The value or worth of your entire month volume will be multiple by a percentage it falls into and that will be given to you as incentives. What you need in this business to be successful are, nice location, good and reliable sale girl and boys( but don't trust) , if you have the money to buy a good vehicle that can be moving round town will be an added advantage, good record keeping from you to avoid Had I Know? You can also add other drinks like Malta, lacasara, Bobo, etc to make your shop attractive and ability to meet all customers demands instead of going somewhere else to buy those drinks. Also, as a banker you can go into forex trading with forextime . you will make money from it as long as you are not greedy, not scared of losing trends because it must happen once in a while and also you know your strategy and money management. With 300k or more in it, you can be making 70k per month more or less as long as you are not trading with more than 0.05slot for standard account. Mind you, I am an economist graduate from UNN @ 2013, done with NYSC, and I do both business above, and I make quite a lot monthly, enough to cater for my family and still have some left to reinvest. Have being into the first business since 2013 immediately after graduation and my level was just increased to SSD just last year NOV. I go to the shop when I want, sleep when I want, but vigilante of what's going on there at the shop. Hope these help! Please don't mind my grammatical errors and I hope I have not committed a crime @ Nairaland. Its my 2nd time commenting. I think I will like to go into this drink business, but Pls I need you to quickly answer these questions. What is RGBs and one way pack. What about if I choose to sell in cans only at the beginning and then add crates and rubber cans to it later. How much is a pack of cans and the plastic cans too. Pls will need answers quick. Thanks |

Family › Re: Can You Forgive Any Of Your Parents Who Abandoned You. by onoslove(op): 4:35pm On Mar 13, 2016 |
Mindfulness: It is difficult to say since I have not been in such a situation but I know that I can forgive a lot since I can understand even more. I also know that forgiveness serves the one who forgives more than the one who is forgiven so I always try to forgive people as quickly as possible.
What bothers me in this story however is the entitlement mentality that biological father and his family display. Now that he heard that his daughter is doing quite well in the US of A, he thinks he has the right to come to the wedding? Why not ask the girl for forgiveness and wish her well without demanding anything, which he has no right to demand of her.
My advice to the girl would be as follows:
Forgive if you can. Don't forgive if you can't. In any case, your father is the one who raised you so cherish him by giving him the place he deserves and enjoy your wedding preparations and your wedding and your marriage. Your biological father has no right to participate in your wedding if you feel that he will cause people to feel uncomfortable, which he possibly will.
You can forgive without inviting him but you don't have to forgive him at all if you don't feel like forgiving him. My dear, it is this entitlement mentality that is driving my friend crazy and to think that he saying no one can take his place, forgetting that he left his place for another to occupy for over 23years. |

I'll only allow the man that nurtured me till I grow up....even if he joins my runaway dad in begging me and refusing to be the dad, I'll rather go rent dad somewhere else...
I won't allow him reap where he did not sow cos he can't just come out of the blues to come be chairman on my wedding day. My dear, that is exactly her stand. She said nothing will ever make her accept that man as a father. |
Family › Can You Forgive Any Of Your Parents Who Abandoned You. by onoslove(op): 12:25pm On Mar 13, 2016 |
This is a true life story, and I am sure so many people can attest to this. The issue of abandoned children by their parents is no longer a news, as it is now very common. A friend of mine is going through the most traumatic and difficult period of her life. She only recently got to know that the man she grew up to know as a father is actually not her biological father. Story has it that her mum got pregnant for her dad while they were still very young, but the dad then rejected the pregnancy. My mum told us that she was among the few people who went to meet with the family of the boy then, but were chased away. Few years later the woman married into a very wealthy family here in Nigeria, and relocated to the US of A. The girl has graduated and currently working as a medical Doctor in US. Now the girl is planning to settle down with a Yoruba boy she also met in the US. The plan all along is to have the wedding over there since both families are in the US. Now the girl so called biological father heard about it, and has since been threatening brimstone that nobody can take his place as a father. The girl father's people have be coming to beg the grand parents to forgive the father. The grandparents is asking them to go and seek forgiveness from their daughter and the husband, while the parents in US is asking them to seek forgiveness from the girl. Now the girl in question is saying she doesn't know any other father aside the man she has always grown up to know as father. If you are in the girl's shoe, what will you do. Though I have advised her to forgive the dad, she said she have, but still doesn't know the man as her father. |
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Difference Praying For Your Enemy To Die In Church Or Shrine? by onoslove(f): 11:02am On Mar 13, 2016 |
Peritus: The truth is that it is wrong to pray for the death of our enemies. However, we are gifted with the power to bless and curse. Sometimes when someone wrongs us and we curse, we see it happening. Good ones will go back and pray for a reversal. It is wrong to pray against ur enemies. See them as helpless people who deserve God's grace for survival. God loves all of us; the "holy" and the sinner alike. I hate the "die by fire" prayer. We should love our enemies and pray for them. Our prayer and love could be what they need to change/repent. Do you believe that there are people who go diabolical, calling out names of people that they will not marry, bear children and many more. If God opens your eyes and you see such a person calling your name in any of the above mentioned, are you sure you can still love such a person. Any person who mention my name for evil in any part of the word should die by fire. |

Tonkabelle: Thanks for sharing one of the methods. If you would prefer to make coconut oil without having to boil it here is the method to do so. Take about 2 or 3 coconuts and break them, cut into small pieces and remove the brown outer layer. Grate the coconut then blend it. You can add some clean water or coconut water if necessary to the blender. After blending pass the entire liquid through a fine sieve until you are left with only the thick milk. Then transfer the liquid to a container and leave in a cool place for 24 hours check to see that a cream (which is the coconut oil) has formed on top. Then you can put in the fridge for about three hours for the cream to solidify. After that take out of the fridge and scoop out the solid cream with a spoon be sure not to get any water in it. Once the cream melts at room temperature you would be left with your coconut oil. .Indeed, there are different ways to kill to a rat. Thanks for sharing. |

There has been a continuous call from different quarters that our religious centres should be made to pay taxes to the government. And I have always wonder the rational behind that call. For this reason, I decided to create this topic so as to get other people's opinions. Cos I for one, I do not agree that our religious centres should be made to pay taxes. As a federal government worker, I pay my tax at the end of the month and I believe several other persons pay their taxes also, and it is a collection of we the individuals that pay taxes that makes up the religious centres, so why the call for religious centres to be tax. NL what is your take on this. Pls Mod do the needful. |
