frankblinkz:And Mikel is also a tested gentleman. The first time I read Mikel pick on anyone. |
Oliseh suffered inferiority complex. That's what induced him unprovoked to talk about himself not being Igbo man. No Igbo asked him to become Igbo. |
Ageless Jay Jay. I still remember him crying in Germany 🇩🇪: even our football, they have taken it away from us." That's when dictator Sani Abacha barred Nigeria's Green Eagles from participating in Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa or so. |
Hegemony and Hyper corruption combined. Court judges replace the electorate in Nigeria. The Igbo goddess of democracy shall be weeping. Cry, beloved compatriots. |
Even a blind would agree that NNPP won the guber election in Kano. Even the blind would agree that LP won the guber election in Enugu. Even the blind would agree that Bola Tinubu did not win the presidential election in Nigeria. It's not a question of being a good lawyer. It's a question of the fraudulent elections and corrupt system in Nigeria |
iReddington:In bold. Glad that you are aware of the fact that your Yoruba share no common history and culture with rest of the ethnic and cultural groups in Nigeria. You never knew that nationhood naturally comes only to a country of people with common history and culture. Or are you people just waking up from slumber and realised the fact that commonly shared value systems are the bedrock of nationhood for a country? What are you people still waiting for before you declare your Oduduwa Republic of people with common history and culture? Waiting for when crude oil and gas deposits in the Niger delta region become irrelevant in global markets? It's best to describe some of you people from the SW as passengers in a sinking ship who clutch tight to the ship because the ship is carrying valuables. Cheap cash from crude oil in the Niger delta region must not continue to govern your interest in a country of groups with different value systems. Venezuela, for example, is rich with crude oil but remains poor; because of bad politicians of Venezuela, same with you unintelligent, greedy, bad rulers of Nigeria who have ruled Nigeria from 1960 till today, and succeeded in ruling Nigeria with all its income from crude oil to become the official poverty capital of the world today. Some of you southwesterners' later day attitude of segregation on Lagos drives the hugest stumbling block against nationhood for the one Nigeria you crave. Lagos is former capital of Nigeria built with the natural resources of Nigeria, natural resources mostly from the Niger delta region. Move out from Lagos to the other places in the SW region, what you see is squalid cities and towns that are far behind modernity. By the way, have you ever heard of any region in the UK where non indegenes are told point blank that they are strangers in the region; or that they, the non indegenes, should not participate in choice of political leaders in the region; the way some of you ignoramuses in the southwest region tell non Yorubas in Lagos? NB: GENERALISATION. I am aware that not all Yorubas are ignoramuses like you group basking in the euphoria of Lagos this and Lagos that. Therefore, I wouldn't use the word, Yorubas, the silly way you used the word, Igbos. |
iReddington:London is not described as city of English people. Develop more sense if you want one Nigeria. You can't have one Nigeria where non southwesterners cannot call Lagos their home nor participate in the politics and governance of Lagos State. Even a Pakistani immigrant now occupies the most prestigious office of Mayor of London. If you want Lagos as city for southwesterners, fully declare Oduduwa Republic the agitation for which you suspended after Tinubu became president of Nigeria, so that Lagos will become city of the Yoruba 100%. |
kettykin:Words on marble. Remember the dazzling football player from Kaduna state who escaped from Nigeria and made it in Europe. Let her leave before she starts to be jealosed and becomes target for those who say Western education is Haram and those in high govt places sharing the same objectives with BH for a Nigeria to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws. |
BloomingDale:Lagos, the former capital of Nigeria developed mainly with oil money from the Niger delta region. Even after a SW man, Akinola Aguda, recommended that Lagos should stop to be the capital of Nigeria, too many southwesterners abandoned Lagos and moved to Abuja for civil service. All federal government infrastructures in Lagos were abandoned and crumbled, as well as the social infrastructures of Lagos crumbling. But too many people from the old southeast region doing business in Lagos remained in Lagos and contributed taxes to development of Lagos. Today, the claim that Lagos must be city of Southwest people is ridiculous. |
Akacollins7:Beating from Police. In other climes, Police will not dare slap a suspect. Are you not still living in a Zoo Republic? |
God1000:Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa bring food to the table. But because of cheap cash from crude oil in Rivers state, Tinubu who assigned the office of Petroleum Minister to himself, meddles in the affairs of Rivers State as if Rivers is an extension of Abuja. |
Why the meeting? US state govs are not known to be meeting with US president in similar situation. Nigeria 🇳🇬 is practising the US system of federalism. Tinubu continuing to build up a gargantuan and monstrous presidency for the federation of Nigeria is against all tenets of federalism. Why building a monstrous federal government that can consume Nigeria which is a federation? |
God1000:The other way round is best description for all you wrote above. One example, four years of Trump as POTUS witnessed a world without major wars. Trump even embraced the hawkish North Korean leader. But in the last 4 years after Trump, it has been major wars all over the place, military coups and endorsement of corrupt and unclean people to lead West African nations that are rich in natural resources. |
ceebeth7:Words on marble. Bwala, Omokri, Wike and FFK on the mind. Men who bend down to retake their vomits are never to be trusted. |
Nice2023:Don't say that to northern Nigerians. Breeding children in mass is means for them to get more states and local government areas from Nigeria for bigger shares in oil revenues. Worse, Nigerians, especially those from the south, don't understand that population or land mass is not considered when creating states in a country formed by different regions. That's how northern military dictators sewed states and local government areas like seeds in the northern region but left fewer states and local government areas for the two southern regions. |
ednut1:All the years of Trump presidency, peace returned to the world. In the last 4 years, it has been wars and wars and fraudulent elections all over the places. |
US Judges must not indirectly decide who presides over a country; as happens in 3rd World Nigeria. Let voters decide. How could a political judge exclude a former president from contesting election because of frivolous charges? |
Judges literally appoint who nust occupy elected political offices in Nigeria. This is a mark of a sick country with a sick democracy. Who will vote next General election? |
A sick democracy is one where th0901 051 2285e courts appoint who can occupy political offices. The court judges in Nigeria's judiciary are smiling to the banks for taking the huge chunks of corruption money from the political elites. |
Ezewuzie01:Wow. Wike can't do more than saying that he rewrote presidential election results won by Labour Party in Rivers state, to favour Tinubu. That's all Wike can do. Who will care to listen to that from Wike; afterall, Tinubu has been upheld by the Supreme Court as the elected president? Wike is a NEGATIVE in Tinubu's cabinet. |
Generalmystic:Which Amotekun? Amotekun is unconstitutional. Nigeria's constitution does not recognise regional militia like Amotekun. If a region of a country establishes a militia to ward off or kill unwanted people from other regions of the same country, such a country is not supposed to exist. Arewa has estsblished its own Hisbah Police which is also unconstitutional, after Arewa 12 states adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal laws and Boko Haram emerged to fight for a Nigeria to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws. In the face of all these, one Nigeria is a falsehood still kept because of cheap cash from crude oil in the Niger delta region. |
SoNature:37th State? But Nigeria's judges have declared Abuja FCT as the 37th State of Nigeria. |
adesegun121:Muslims in Nigeria celebrate the Islamic outfit for the Super Eagle. Whoever designed the outfit for the Super Eagle must be an Islamic extremist and expansionist. |
Fearful thread. Do you mean that five years from now, Ahmed Bola Tinubu will not have repositioned Nigeria on the right path of cuttig down the frequency of the emigrating young Nigerians to abroad? |
RaymondHarmony:1. |
Kingrshd3:Go school, you refused to go. Na only Agbero life you agreed to follow and live. All those presidents who led you have led you to belong to Nigeria named the official poverty capital of the world. |
Islie:I did not see Buhari's first Minister of Finance. I have forgotten her name. |
Awwwu. RIP, Na'Abba. OBJ outlived Na'Abba. N'Abba as HoR Speaker was poised for impeachment of then president Obasanjo. He was counting on the undue overpopulation of the NASS by Reps of his northern region. His North's undue overpopulation of the NASS deriving from undue proliferation of mostly non viable states in the northern region by northern military dictators. |
loswhite:It takes only prudent management of a country's resources and good political system to reach the stage of an advanced country, not by election rigging and dependence on oyel money to manage Nigeria. |
Doyin Okupe never replied to any of the false narratives of APC against his boss, then president Goodluck Jonathan, when he saw that his kinsmen led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu had formed the APC alliance with the Fulani. Who ever heard of Okupe all the days of the last presidential election campaign of the Labour Party? Okupe went to the media to announce his resignation from the Labour Party solely with the aim of reducing the fortunes of Labour Party. |
loswhite:As you always aim for the lowest, no advancement. Puaaah. My suggestion is how it's done in other advanced countries. |
