Well, it’s 11 vs 11.

Even at that, Benin Republic now a football rival for Nigeria?

Nigeria descending on every index to measure growth in a country.

Yet some people still believe that one day Nigeria shall be good again. They are waiting for Godot.

Ghana is now far better than the fake giant of the continent. Unemployment is one of the reason insecurity has kept increasing with different dimensions.
We need to have a great turnaround in leadership if things must change.
In bold: it’s not leadership problem but ethnoreligious bigotry problems holding Nigeria down. Good leaders can’t come from Nigeria’s skewed political structure.
People from each of the three regions that formed Nigeria don’t share common value systems, especially northern and southern regions have little or no common value systems.

More jobs as Nigeria does business upside down.

More jobs when the gas plants to be built in northern Nigeria from pipe lines of gas from the Niger Delta to the north for processing, and distribution to Morroco and other Arab North African countries.

Like the more jobs promised from Kaduna refinery through crude oil pipelines from the Niger Delta to Kaduna.

Your suggestion:

Loads of buildings built by former governor Rochas Okorocha in Owerri are either abandoned or now marked for demolition.
Foolishness makes you people drive your politicians to act as if all government development landmarks in a state must be built in the state capital.

Due to concentration of all tertiary education institutions in Imo state in Owerri, Mass education was reserved for Owerri senatorial district whose people profit from closeness to the education institutions in Owerri senatorial district.
They successfully used the mass education to drive every state governor of the state crazy with agitation for concentration of modern development infrastructures in Owerri senatorial district.

Because many of the drivers don’t know what traffic lights are for, as they mostly come in from outside Owerri from other places in the state where no good roads exist, talk less, traffic lights.

In one city of Europe, one Nigerian was freed by a court after he caused an accident by beating red light, when he told the court that he did not know what the lights were for, because such lights don’t exist in his country he came from.

People in Imo shall soon start to see hell from cultivating only one modern city - Owerri - for Imo state.

Politics › Re: We Are For United Nigeria, Southern Senators Declare by onuman: 11:56am On Mar 26, 2021
Do these so-called southern legislators even understand that Nigeria copies American presidential system of government, and that anytime military dictators from say, south of the USA, take over political power and use land mass or population to divide the larger land mass and more populated southern USA states like Texas into say 4 new states, but divide the smaller land mass and less populated northern states like New York into say, 2 new states, political and economic powers are thus shifted to the southern states; from that the north USA states are politically and economically emaciated?
This is like what northern military dictators who proliferated too many (19 states) states in the northern region but left an average of 8.5 states in the two southern regions that formed Nigeria at independence with the northern region did.
Land mass or population is never used as criterion to proliferate too many states in a region with larger land mass or population in a country formed by different regions. How
The fraudulent political structure of Nigeria created by northern soldiers can no longer be amended at the National Assembly because of the political over-representation derived by the old northern region from the north’s undue larger number of states.

Politics › Re: Secession Must Be By Consensus - Governor Akeredolu by onuman: 7:01pm On Mar 25, 2021
The consensus can only come through a referendum in the areas asking for secession, not by wishes of political leaders who are eating fat from dysfunctional Nigeria.

So who organizes the referendum and when?

Referendum is the first ingredient of democracy.

Southern politicians must not continue to allow the north to preclude referendum in Nigeria because northern military dictators who supervised the 1999 constitution precluded referendum in the constitution.

North eats fat from one Nigeria which is a stumbling block to human and economic development in the southern regions of Nigeria.

Southern politicians stick to the crumbs they get from Fulani in one Nigeria since Arewa soldiers restructured Nigeria and endowed near absolute political and economic powers to Arewa politicians led by Fulani.

Arewa urinated against Nigeria’s 1999 constitution by adoption of Unconstitutional Islamic Sharia criminal laws.

Southern politicians pretend that they don’t understand from that that Arewa has drawn the boundaries of its sovereign country for the 12 sharia states in northern Nigeria.

Southern politicians want ISWAP/Boko Haram to fry southerners in One Nigeria, instead of withdrawing the south of Nigeria from one Nigeria.

Stop showing your ignorance in the public forum. For the record time, Taraba state is the second largest State in terms of land mass in Nigeria. Yes, the viability of the state is in progress but not totally dependence. Again, Taraba state is more of middle belt than core north. Their climate, vegetation, culture and religion are totally different from the core north. The habitats are dominated by Jukun tribes numbering close to 50 tribes, wapan, kuteb, ichen, Bachama, kona, kpanzo etc.
Land mass is never used as criterion for creating new federating units like states or regions in a country formed by different regions.

Villages created as states by IBB and Abacha when they used land mass as criterion to proliferate 19 states in northern region but allowed only an average of 8.5 states in the two southern regions that formed independent Nigeria with the northern region. Politics › Re: "You Are Too Slow" - Hakeem Baba-Ahmed To Buhari by onuman: 1:58pm On Mar 24, 2021
He is more after Jihad to convert Nigeria to a country to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal justice system, than development in Nigeria.
“I shall not relent until Islamic Sharia criminal laws are used all over Nigeria.” —— Muhammadu Buhari told a large crowd of Moslems in Kaduna in2001 after the 12 northern sharia states adopted unconstitutional Islamic Sharia criminal justice system.

Unknown gunmen are today killing policemen and soldiers in the east. It’s a ploy to provoke Nigeria to use Nigeria armed forces to fight Jihad against the east, to do the Jihad for ISWA/Boko Haram.
There is no investigation to show who actually was killing policemen and soldiers in the east.
