Lagosboy:
Goodluck is not freshness as PDP has been in power for 12 years. GEJ has been in govt for 12 years if you list his achievement in 12 yars i might change my mind.

Nigeria has an envoy in the vatican , what is th eproblem in Nigeira been in the OIC which gives free and intrest loans to member countries. You could support GEJ but passing religious bigotry leaves a bad taste
Sometimes you guys argue from your butt hole.

Vatican envoy doesnt mean Nigeria is officially christian nation as a matter of fact, there is nothing like christian nation.

Can you say the same about a country belonging to OIC?

For the first time in God-knows-how-long, Buhari went to watch a Football match few days before election and he is very humble.

GEJ signs a bill few days before election and it becomes an election stunt.

PoliticsRe: Thisday Editor, Simon Kolawole's Description Of Nairaland by onyengbu: 6:59pm On Mar 28, 2011
I dont understand  - All of the issues being discussed online stem from articles being read on Nigerian Newspaper hence i fail to see where issues are different to what is on ground.   If blogers are calling for blood i would say it is better and shows a more advanced set and i wish same online attitude could translate to what we have on ground rather than celebrate mediocracy.
It is very careless on your side to assume/claim that articles on nigerian newspapers are actually what is on ground.

Many newspaper reports are half truths  borne out of paid reports and badly conducted journalism.

I am glad that people are becoming politically aware now and also beginning to reason beyond, ethnic and religious lines. the only thing left is for us to stop looking at parties but individuals because we don't have political parties in Nigeria.

Obasanjo was able to achieve the much he did not because he is PDP but because he is naturally a strong man, pls get me right.

Before now, I have always advocated for Jonathan to be given a chance until i took time to analyse his personality. He seems not to have a personal vision for this country.
We have seen Buhari passionate about corruption once with WAI (he might not have got it right 100%)
We have seen Ribadu passionate about corruption once @ EFCC (He might not have got it right 100%)
Has anybody seen Jonathan passionate about corruption?, even with his parleying with Ibori, Bode georgeetc

CORRUPTION is the root of our problem in this country and anybody serious bout rulling Nigeria must tackle it headlong, pls let your vote count, vote wisely against corruption.
If he parleyed with them, they wouldnt have been in the problem they were.

Iysayah:
though i have my reservation about Buhari, i dont know why. it is only striking that after several election frauds, he still has not given up hope of getting to the top of Nigeria one day. for me, THATS A MAN! he definitely has something motivating him. but what it is we dont know. only, so far, he has impressed me with his determination and innovative ideas ( or ideas of his campaign organization). however, i really wished we had some one who is entirely not from the ERA OF OBASANJO, IBB, BUHARI AND GANG- those will rule till they die? and dont get me wrong, GEJ IS NOWHERE NEAR MY MIND, HE IS, IN MY OPINION, A CHARACTER YOU ONLY FIND IN WOLE SOYINKA'S INGENIOUS DESCRIPTION OF A JESTER. is it not a waste of 5 GENERATIONS TO SEE THESE PEOPLE STILL WANT TO RULE NIGERIA? i read enough comments here to make me believe young people can lead Nigeria, and young is not neccessarily in 20s and 30s but 40s and late 40s too, even early 50s, irrespective of tribe, ethnic origin, religion, whatsoever! to be honest, i hardly can count any candidate that holds that appeal to me
Hey Mister;

Be sincere to yourself, if you have looked like you claim, there is someone in this election called Pat Utomi.

He is not from that era, why not vote him!

Telling you I do not support anyone who has CLEARLY FAILED OVER AND OVER as Jonathan's record shows DOES NOT IMPLY I am some enemy of his. I do not know the man from a can of paint and do not have to because he is simply an EMPLOYEE and all You and I have to judge him by is his record and NOTHING ELSE! If people were to just do that, they would realize how irrational it is to pretend those who do not support him their way, are Goodluck Jonathan's enemies. undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided
Before this election, you have been strongly against recycling of politicians. I dont want to start digging now but you have always advocated for new competent guys who wbound in the country.

Now you support Buhari.

Whatever happened to you?  grin
