I think dude needs to hold up wait a minute, take a sec and get back in it. Tell dude that it is over oka. No need holding on to old memories. There are plenty of other women more deserving of his time and love. Oka when you said "deal with her" i hope he never thinks of getting physical or goes into stalking mode. But on the real, he needs to let her go and move on because i understand that he is hurt but everyone gets hurt one time or another. But as grown people you gotta pick yourself up and dust yourself off.

Heheh! You don't know yet ohhhh. . . . .  sad

When I first met my boyfriend friends, I was shivering and in my head, all I can think of are 2 birds flying around making chirping sounds. His friends said Hello and I did not answer looking at them like some kind of alien. . . . . I froze and almost peed in my pants!  lipsrsealed  undecided

But after awhile, am all good.  grin
Geez and i thought i was a nervous reck. i remember i met this one fella and i was so nervous. I got tongue twisted and i couldn't think straight. My hands were all sweaty and my heart rate tripled in rate. I just sat there nodding my head cause i couldn't say anything senseable. but i finally loosened up and i took a step back and got right back into the game.

My definition of an incredible man is

One who is able to love all of me. From me being quick at the mouth to my romantic side

One who is able to get to know the real me. That alter ego that stays at bay.

One who understands im his equal not inferior to him, but still holds it down

One who makes is out of his way to make me happy. no matter what mood im in.

One who understands when i need to talk i'll come to you not the other way around.

there is more but i aint gonna say it or write it.

Too bad you think I'm joking.  You should never date outside of your comfort zone then.  If you travel to the other side of the country you just might fall in love with it.   It's perfectly fine to leave your comfort zone once in a while.  tongue
Well when i do travel i don't be look for love but as we all know we are in no control on who we fall in love with. Oka lets say if i go traveling in Nigeria and meet this incredible man. Well there is no way im about to leave my South to go and live in Naija. I'm saying i don't like Naija i just rather live here. But i could bring him back with me.

I can't do me without you. What if the guy lives in America but is in a city different from yours, is that worse?
Oka that is truly questionable. Any ways if the guy lives in a different city then one of us is going to have to sacrifice our comfort zone and move to the other one's city. i highly doubt it would be me.

Romance › Re: Romantic Way to say "I Love You" to a Lady? by onyinye2(f): 2:31am On Jul 26, 2008
I personally i think the most romantic way would be,

Scenario 1

The two of us at the house eating the meal you made over a candle lighted table.
Lights dim but not to dim that we can't see eachother.
The music in the background playing Lloyd, "Feels So Right"
Us gazing in to each others eyes and smile like school kids
Then you out of no where just say " I love you"

Scenario 2

We just walking through the downtown park. Watching the beautiful sky.
Holding hands as we sit for a little picnic.
Afterwards just sit and watch the sunset. not saying a word to each other.
Then you just say "I love you" and we just enjoy the rest of the night.

i would wait for him. personally im sensing some distrust and insecurities in your post. If he says he will be back,  trust him that he will. I'm not saying you shouldn't check up on him every now and again. you shouldn't let him run loose because temptation is a witch and she knows no boundaries.

Sweetheart then whom you like aren't Nigerian men but muddled Nigerian men made to fit your model of the ideal man. If you can do this with a Nigerian man, you can do it with whomever you want. Why stick stubbornly to these local heads?

If you tell me you like Nigeria men I automatically look at you as a "self-lesionist". A sadomasochist!

I am starting to think that you don't like them for who they are but for what you'll make them become!
Of course i like them for who they are. Everybody has their faults. no one is perfect. so when i see a naija man who has potential then well im going to bring the best out of them. behind that need to be the leader is a person who understands i truly am their equal not their inferior. I have to admit i did catch a laugh at that sadomasochist comment.

I am even surprised that she sticks to Nigerian men since she is HotChick's number one supporter. This says everything about her. She is tigress here but out there she doesn't even dare to breathe!

I mean why badmouth these poor men elsewhere and later come here to act as their faithful lover? So touching but yet so pathetic!

Onyinye have you decided to abbandon your fight for equal rights and settle with a Nigerian man as the submissive wife?
Very nice point you made. You see, the naija men i date start out as that, "i am the Man" type. you know the ones who feel they need to leader of the whole relationship. But as i like to say men are like clay, they just need the right potter to come and mold them. After a time period with me, you see they start see that there is no need to think of me as inferior but as their equal.  They see that there is no need for me to walk two steps behind them but beside them.

You blow up like an agitated pepsi can.
You can deny it now, but do I care? not really.

Your previous posts prove what I have written. it seems you aren't used to being contradicted and u always take it personal whenever someone doesn't think the same way you do. You know onyinye, as I have said there is little you can do to make Ruby change her mind and neither can you stop her from considering Nigerian men very ordinary.

Trying to attack my choice of men might put a smile on some people's face but will do very little to your arrogant person. Take a chill pill, OK?
what are you talking about?? i don't believe i tried to force Ruby to like naija men. you may proceed in looking at my recent post. I never take it personal when someone doesn't agree with me. i don't control what people think same as no one controls what i want or think. I wasn't attacking your choice of men. Argentina guys are hot so i don't know what you talking about. any ways it seems like you are the one you needs the chill pill cause im calm and collected over here. you are dismissed.

@ Onyinye

Why do you always eat your heart out whenever someone disagrees with you? Nor be by force say we must like Nigerian men. Haba, even if you kill yourself e nor go change anything.
Hmmm, dont believe that i am killing myself over this. you the one getting all emotional here. so dont even come at me this way. it aint even necessary. No one is forcing you to like anything. you don't like naija men, oh well. just do you and well hopefully you will like some guy from Argentina or where ever your heart leads you. because i sure know where my heart leads me.
Romance › Re: Whydo Girls Expect Guys To Spend Onthem Before Saying Yes To A Relationship ? by onyinye2(f): 5:48pm On Jul 25, 2008

if you mean "spending" as in taking me shopping and buying whatever i want, then no. I dont expect a guy to buy me anything before we are truly in a relationship. it would be nice if he did but it wouldn't be expected of him. but once we enter the relationship, well that is a whole different topic.

I dont know but there is something special about naija men. That thing that you just can't resist. I guess behind there tough exterior is this strong man who just goes out of his way to make you happy. And most are so sweet and romantic in their own way. And the way they just care and are kind i dont but it just melts me. Physically, i love the lips. i don't know something about them are so yearning.
