I don't support drug trafficking in any way, but I still think capital punishment is not commensurate with the crime. Life is too precious to be taken away just like that. A lengthy prison term would have been more appropriate in my opinion.

What about the lives that are destroyed by drugs? Drugs influence crime, illness, homicide, suicide, robberies and destroyed families. One drug dealer killed compared to many affected by drugs induced crimes.

Life sentences in democratic countries is the most expensive exercise that equalls to punishing tax payers for a crime committed by someone else.

I pray the Democratic Alliance of South Africa wins one day and adopt death penalty for drug dealers that would end crime in our country.

The develop that SA has had in the last 20yrs is out of this world. many african countries can learn from south africa. Before 1994, the development that was there was only for whites, black population had nothing, no water, no electricity, not sanitation, no work, uneducated. But since the black government tookover, it has pulled up over 34m blacks into middle class. As we speak today, blacks are the biggest consumers and drive the SA economy with their biggest buying power.

yes, the whites did develop the country, but only for themselves. The black government took over and expanded the infrastructure to cater for everyone, i can say the infrastructure has been tripled. massive freeway expansion, over 2000 malls all over SA, new houses for poor, 90% of south africans have 24hr electricity supply, 86% water supply, 77% have sanitation, expansion of cities and towns across SA, there is a lot that most afrucan countries can learn from south africa.

You'll get tired explaining to people who always find an excuse for their inability to develop their country. They pretend as if whites didn't build Nigeria but their lack of maintenance and just slothy culture destroyed instead of improving which is what we South Africans did. By the time we clock 50 years independence SA will be a first world economy and county but they ( Nigerians will not research and see post apartheid development) will still cry its because of whites. Thank you so much for this truth. The reason Nigerians run to SA and other countries is because they want to have all the work done before they get there. They are not willing to put the hard work in to build. They skip over the fact that these countries were built. Why were they not running there during apartheid? Why were they not running there when there were violent ANC marches?


No intention to build just to enjoy the labour of others. Those types of Nigerians really frustrate me sometimes.

To dispel a myth though, South Africans also run away from SA. Many here in the UK and even more in Australia where I used to live. When you ask them why they tell you their experience and why they felt the only option was to move their families out.

Your last assertion is not true. Only Whites moved in big numbers after the fall of apartheid and many of them have since returned. Blacks and coloureds who are in other countries are there for career growths and opportunities, only a tiny bit of coloureds left for other reasons. And those coloureds are really the white ass lickers. Remember this is not guess work, South African home affairs does a monthly report on the number of SA relocating and coming back into the country. They all go through our system.
