The level of insecurity in this country is highly appalling.
Just a few hours ago, five Banks in Otukpo Local govt area of Benue south in Benue State. Home of the former Senate President of Nigeria, Senator Alechenu Bonaventure Mark. The banks were Stanbic, firstBank, UBA, Access Bank and a Microfinance Bank. Stanbic Bank shares the same fence with the Otukpo Police station while Access Bank is directly opposite same police station. Yet there was no resistance from the police as the robbers had a field day and robbed for almost two hours. Two persons were shot and killed and several other casualties are yet to be accounted for.
