As for Genuine Christians who worship in assemblies where tithes are paid,U must do ur part by asking questions about everything that runs contrary to the scriptures.....
U are part and parcel of the body of Christ....So U must ask questions esp if the doctrines are not in line with that of the early christians!!

I repeat...Every one is "EQUAL AND VERY IMPORTANT" before God even a Unbeliever....
There is no hierarchy or segregation in the body of Christ!

The Bible is where U will find what U need....Dont Allow some one else to study or read it for U

No one is talking about the law of Moses . We are talking about tithe . Tithe did not originate under the law of Moses .

The fact that it’s contained in the obsolete law does not negate its potency . There are other things contained in the law that Christians practice . Such as prayer, almsgiving, Justice , morality , Thanksgiving and honoring your father And mother . The law is a reference to many kingdom principles .

Let me ask U....the Malachi 3:10-12 which U indirectly hold on to as basis for believers to tithe,where was it coined from?
Was it from the pre-law tithe or the mosaic law....

Tithe is a requirement to the people of Israel as clearly contained in the law of moses with its platform,structures and commandments boldly written in the laws of moses (Reference Leviticus 27:30;Deutronomy 14:22-29;Nehemiah 10;Numbers 18:20)

If U have any scriptures to prove that tithing is pre-law,please do so with scriptures showing its structures and ordinances...It was boldly and clearly written when Abraham and his families were commanded by God to do "burnt offerings and circumcision ".....Why was there no commandment laid down for Abraham about tithe since U claim its was before the law?

Please Petra1,for the 100th or so time,please open bible and show me and others where tithe was commanded by God to Abraham before he met king Melchizedek! No evasion or gimmicks.... Just prove it with scriptures!

And while U are at it please I would like to know how pastors and ministers of the Gospel miraculously started receiving tithes using Ur spiritual principle and ur over laboured pre-law tithe as a yardstick!

For those who said Christ never condemned tithe....of course Jesus never condemned the tithe as practised in the law of moses(not the one concocted by most of our pastors and ministers) simply because he was simply UNDER THE LAW....Jesus even went to the temple and carried out most of the Jewish customs as contained in the law of moses!!



I have a question what was the reason behind the death and resurrection of Christ?

If U believe the law of moses is still relevant to Christians,why are Christians not offering goat sacrifices or burning incense?

Tithe according to the bible is a "requirement" not "generosity "

U cannot give what is required....U pay for it!!

U cannot willingly and generously 'give' school fee or bus fare is required!!

Secondly,U don't give to God Ur tithe while his children are suffering and sick...and He knows U have the ability to help them!!

When U help those who are in need,
When U feed them,cloth them,shelter them and offer them encouragement,U are actually 'Giving' to God (Reference Matthew 25:31 - 46)
The bible said in proverbs 19:17, that if you give to the 'needy' or 'poor',U are actually lending to God....!!
