onuhabel1:Just the same way he never condemned burnt offerings or sin offerings or passover offerings.... Jesus never condemned Judaism simply because before his death he was under the "law of moses" hence he partook in all of the requirements of the law of moses! Please study and understand Hebrews 8 and 9 esp Hebrews 9:15-28 Galatians 4:1-7 Ephesians 2:11-18 Romans 10:4 Hebrews also said we should titheI guess U are referring to Hebrews 7 Please show me where it states that Believers of the new covenant should "tithe 10% of their income to a pastor or minister".... Also show in that same Hebrews 7 where Christ mandated pastors to receive tithe on his behalf... finally please use Hebrews 7 to show where Christ made tithing a super revelation to believers of the new covenant! I await ur "honest" replies! |
onuhabel1:These highlighted statements seem a bit preposterous.... For starters, are U referring to the law of moses when U meant "old testament "? Secondly, what scriptures can u quote to back ur assertion that "Abraham received revelations from God to tithe"? Lastly, since tithe was supposedly gotten through Revelation from God,can we also assume that burnt offerings, sleeping with his maid, lying was also a revelation from God to Abraham? |
There is indeed a problem about Africans esp Nigeria and that's about our mindset! 30 Nigerians died yesterday and no one has made an inquiry to the cause of their death....not even a house of assembly member has asked for an inquiry.... simply because its not their brother or sister or mother! And what about us esp on social media....we easily say RIP and move to the next day as if nothing happened! Nigeria is a vastly religious country but have little or no value for human lives....both Christians and Muslims! which is totally different from what God teaches! But its a stack contrast when U visit developed countries with developed minds who value even a single human being as if the person was a cherished diamond! An car accident took place at Manchester, england so many years ago and 3 people lost their lives....and the entire nation mourned as if 20 thousand people have been killed! Even at that, inquiries were made just to ascertain the cause of the accident that led to the death of their people....What a country? Am not saying the country is perfect or has everything under control but from deir policies and body language, it shows that they value the lives of their citizens! here in Nigeria, just this year, herdsmen have been responsible for more killings than often blood thirsty boko haram....every day innocent men, women and children die not of their own making but because Nigeria runs a system whereby there is little or no value for a single soul! The worse of all the hypocrisy is a president calling Egypt to sympathize with them over the bomb blast that occurred at their country while he keeps ignoreing what's going on in his own backyard!! Our mindset is slowly killing Us! |
Ever since the maina incident resurfaced,I haven't heard a single comment from this woman until now....interesting! |
Nigeria is a country where most of its citizens always pray but hardly take actions to back up the prayers! We can pray from now till tomorrow but these avoidable accidents may never seize unless we take action! Don't get me wrong....I do believe in the power of prayers....but for prayers to be answered, dere needs to be a corresponding action.... Prayers alone didn't solve our telecommunication issues, action did.... faith alone didn't make U excel in ur exams, the needed actions by U played its part! Prayers alone didn't land U that lucrative contract or employment, ur actions which put U at the right place at the right time helped!! Prayers alone won't solve our power issues or build our roads or give us good governance.... No matter how much prayers we make before a journey,if U don't appeal or request that the driver slows down while driving or drive in a responsible manner,U may be fortunate if U escape a fatal accident esp if the driver is reckless.... God can not do for us what he has empowered us to do for our selves!!! |

hardasan:The law based tithe which tithers use almost willingly is mandatory and a requirement in the law! Tithe is not a voluntary act! its not a charity act! What abraham gave to Melchizedek was never the tithe tithers link to malachi.... Jacob made a vow to God Others made vows in the bible...a soldier made a vow to God that he will give the best of burnt sacrifices if the lord delivered him from his enemies, should it now be used as a principle for believers of the new covenant?....does a vow made by a then deceitful man,Jacob, now be used as a principle to tithe? |
hardasan:He/she asked U a simple question and the scriptures U provided said absolutely nothing about the apostles receiving tithes from the early Christians.... Even the one U highlighted explicitly stated that when they laid the money(not tithe) in the apostles's feet, its was distributed to all men according to their needs ![]() Tithers want to look for a way to squeeze in 'tithe' any where money is spoken of ![]() |
Saintinoo:Am very sure u didn't go into a single scripture i presented before replying me....thats not how to learn! We are always in a hurry to reply rather than learn from each other! I gave U scriptures to prove my point! As for Ur question, yes Jesus practiced Judaism because he was under the law.... but what happened after his death and resurrection is far more paramount.... The power of his resurrection is contained in the scriptures i quoted for U! If i may ask did the "early Christians" observe the law of moses? For the records,am not here to win an argument....am here to set the biblical records straight! |
Saintinoo:Jesus came to fulfill all the requirements of the law so that U and every christian will be free from the snares and dictates of the law! Galatians 3:21-29;4:4-6 Ephesians 2:11-22 Romans 10:4 Hebrews 9:11-28 These scriptures will give U a platform..... I have a question for U...why did peter and paul question the jews for insisting that the newly converted gentiles submit to the laws of moses? Reference: Acts 15:1-35 |
hardasan:Do U have scriptures to back this claim? How and where did pastors represent levites? Please dont say whats not in the bible? If U have scriptures to prove the highlighted claim, please state them clearly!! All these guesswork must stop!! ![]() |
hardasan: 3-4 Peter said, “Ananias, how did Satan get you to lie to the Holy Spirit and secretly keep back part of the price of the field? Before you sold it, it was all yours, and after you sold it, the money was yours to do with as you wished. So what got into you to pull a trick like this? You didn’t lie to men but to God.” THE MESSAGE ACTS 5:3-4 3 Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? 4 Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.” NIV ACTS 5:3-4From the highlighted statements,it shows that the money was of ananias' free will ....in other words,it was voluntary and not mandatory! As for the other scripture quotes, there is nothing much to add because its the same scriptures from the law of moses that is still being quoted where tithes are given to the levites!! The real question is where in the scriptures pastors and ministers of the gospel instructed or ordained to take tithes from believers of the new covenant? Where in the scriptures are pastors and ministers now the new levites according to tithers? These are the real questions that deserve scriptures not the over laboured and depressing quotation of malachi 3:10-12 that is also linked to Deutronomy 14:22-29 or numbers 18:20 I await scriptures.... |
Afrojuju2017:My opinion still stands......and for reminders,am entitled to my opinions....i don't like the way they were folded to be buried!! Based on my opinion,Its inhumane! Humans whether dead or alive must be treated with utmost respect and dignity! Thats my opinion! |
![]() I like it that way... At least it will mislead opponents into thinking we are underdogs.... Look at algeria before the world cup qualifiers....They were africa's numero uno based on fifa standings! Now just look at their recent performances.....they could not even get a single win both home and away! So lets ignore these "yeye" fifa rankings...they are very deceitful! It doesn't give a true and valid description of a team's capability! |
Afrojuju2017:i just hate the fact that dead bodies are treated like abandoned properties....Culture or not! Even in death, there is some thing called last respect! If that is how they are "culturally" buried then i think the northern region has really lost it! I dont care if the "coffin way" is being practiced by the europeans, atleast they respect the dead more than some africans! Even the blood of one of the deceased is soaking the white sheet wrapping the body.... How wud U support the fact that the dead should be treated like scum? Are U okay? ![]() |
![]() He said nothing but the bitter truth! |
Livefreeordieha:hmmm....Interesting! |
Divay22:But from the conversation, its obvious the lady/girl instead of HI said I Come on that's to bad nah why lead me into a conversation when you ain't ready for one? |
nwakibie3:Lets stop all these tribal sentiments...it helps no one! Generosity has absolutely nothing to do with race, tribe or country! Generosity is about the heart of the individual! |
Ohh men...am humbled!! ![]() God bless and keep U for this unique gesture! Not every time U see people doing such without any ulterior motive!! Why wont God bless and prosper such kind of individual.. God bless U real God bro! |
![]() |
Ohh no too bad for her... this would not have occurred had the driver been a bit patient and careful! This could also have been avoided had the passengers admonished the driver to drive safely and responsibly!! I hope they didn't tell the driver to keep overspeeding simply becos the passengers want to quickly get to their destination! Too many irresponsible and untrained drivers on our roads ![]() And please for the umpteenth time, lets stop bringing "spirituality" on every accident on our roads!! Most if not all accidents that occur are as a result of the unprofessional conduct on the part of the drivers esp commercial drivers, the passiveness of the passengers and the incompetence of most of our authorities who have been saddled with the responsibilities of enforcing law and order on our roads!! |
Naughtysite:True! |
Guyman02:Thank U...this is exactly what happened to a friend of mine inside keke....the guy even lied that he was from cameroun My friend kept withdrawing all the money in his account....even when i called him during the "greed driven" period,He refused to pick my calls... When it dawned on him,he finally picked my call and started lying about how some one robbed him...it was later he told me the "real story"!! ![]() Charm ke Juju nee ![]() |
DeRay98:Okay sorry about that |
This has happened before...though in a different way! There is nothing like charm... Her brother is trying to cover up the real story...he doesn't want his sister to mock or call him a FOOL thats why he made up that story! The real story is that the swindler sweet talked him on how he can double his money or how wit a little amount,he can get a huge some of money! The greed got to him and he stupidly gave his atm to the guy! ...and its so easy to trick some one who is so desperate for quick cash...."Like they always say,eye dey red" ![]() Go and check any one that has been swindled, its because of their GREED nothing more! A very useful example is MMM! ![]() |
They don't even have a single regard for their loved ones! Just imagine how the dead bodies were wrapped up like sack of goods to be transported! They didn't even wipe off or clean the blood or even get a smaller coffin for these young ones who had no idea what their foolish fathers were fighting! Poverty indeed has to do with the mindset! Can a rich family from the north condone such treatment of their loved ones who died? Smh ![]() |
DeRay98:This is the very reason why our leaders and dose in authorities don't do the right things and dont take us serious! Why must we always attach the death of some one to Juju or any spiritual stuff?? This is a clear case of reckless driving....and it must seriously be addressed b4 it slowly keep taking away our loved ones.... Let's stop all this blame on Juju or its equivalent... Over speeding kills.... |
Keneking:Smh |
Just look at what reckless driving has caused....killing himself and his entire family just becos of impatience ....When are we going to learn that over speeding can only lead to more deaths....kai what a loss... |
This is the fault of our security operatives....This is what happens when security operatives sweep criminal cases like these under d carpet hoping that community won't dare do any thing..... Now see the result of their incompetence and nonchalant attitude.....A reprisal attack on innocent and defenceless children! Just watch out....if nothing is done about these badoo killings at Lagos, residents will take up arms and do what needs to be done! I will never support retaliation but those people have suffered enough.... Too many deaths in dis administration..... Fulani herdsmen, boko haram, badoo, cultists every where.... The worse part is that this slow-mo administration sits down and does absolutely nothing....chai Chai chai |
