Please show me where it states that Believers of the new covenant should "tithe 10% of their income to a pastor or minister"....

Also show in that same Hebrews 7 where Christ mandated pastors to receive tithe on his behalf...

finally please use Hebrews 7 to show where Christ made tithing a super revelation to believers of the new covenant!

These highlighted statements seem a bit preposterous....
For starters,are U referring to the law of moses when U meant "old testament "?

Secondly,what scriptures can u quote to back ur assertion that "Abraham received revelations from God to tithe"?

Lastly,since tithe was supposedly gotten through Revelation from God,can we also assume that burnt offerings,sleeping with his maid,lying was also a revelation from God to Abraham?

There is indeed a problem about Africans esp Nigeria and that's about our mindset!

30 Nigerians died yesterday and no one has made an inquiry to the cause of their death....not even a house of assembly member has asked for an inquiry.... simply because its not their brother or sister or mother!

And what about us esp on social media....we easily say RIP and move to the next day as if nothing happened!

Nigeria is a vastly religious country but have little or no value for human lives....both Christians and Muslims!
which is totally different from what God teaches!

But its a stack contrast when U visit developed countries with developed minds who value even a single human being as if the person was a cherished diamond!

An car accident took place at Manchester,england so many years ago and 3 people lost their lives....and the entire nation mourned as if 20 thousand people have been killed!

Even at that, inquiries were made just to ascertain the cause of the accident that led to the death of their people....What a country?
Am not saying the country is perfect or has everything under control but from deir policies and body language, it shows that they value the lives of their citizens!

here in Nigeria,just this year,herdsmen have been responsible for more killings than often blood thirsty boko haram....every day innocent men,women and children die not of their own making but because Nigeria runs a system whereby there is little or no value for a single soul!

The worse of all the hypocrisy is a president calling Egypt to sympathize with them over the bomb blast that occurred at their country while he keeps ignoreing what's going on in his own backyard!!


Our mindset is slowly killing Us!

Ever since the maina incident resurfaced,I haven't heard a single comment from this woman until now....interesting!

Nigeria is a country where most of its citizens always pray but hardly take actions to back up the prayers!

We can pray from now till tomorrow but these avoidable accidents may never seize unless we take action!


Don't get me wrong....I do believe in the power of prayers....but for prayers to be answered,dere needs to be a corresponding action....

Prayers alone didn't solve our telecommunication issues, action did....

faith alone didn't make U excel in ur exams,the needed actions by U played its part!

Prayers alone didn't land U that lucrative contract or employment, ur actions which put U at the right place at the right time helped!!

Prayers alone won't solve our power issues or build our roads or give us good governance....

No matter how much prayers we make before a journey,if U don't appeal or request that the driver slows down while driving or drive in a responsible manner,U may be fortunate if U escape a fatal accident esp if the driver is reckless....

God can not do for us what he has empowered us to do for our selves!!!

Abraham and Jacob gave tithe voluntarily.
The israélites didn't give any tithe till God commanded tithing. Still, the lévites didn't force them to tithe.

I have said before and I say again, tithing is between you and God. No one should force you to tithe and you don't need to be told to tithe.

The law based tithe which tithers use almost willingly is mandatory and a requirement in the law!

The early church gave the apostles all. So which money again could they have given ad tithe ?

He/she asked U a simple question and the scriptures U provided said absolutely nothing about the apostles receiving tithes from the early Christians....
Even the one U highlighted explicitly stated that when they laid the money(not tithe) in the apostles's feet,its was distributed to all men according to their needs

Tithers want to look for a way to squeeze in 'tithe' any where money is spoken of

From the highlighted statements,it shows that the money was of ananias' free will ....in other words,it was voluntary and not mandatory!

As for the other scripture quotes,there is nothing much to add because its the same scriptures from the law of moses that is still being quoted where tithes are given to the levites!!

The real question is where in the scriptures pastors and ministers of the gospel instructed or ordained to take tithes from believers of the new covenant?

Where in the scriptures are pastors and ministers now the new levites according to tithers?

These are the real questions that deserve scriptures not the over laboured and depressing quotation of malachi 3:10-12 that is also linked to Deutronomy 14:22-29 or numbers 18:20

It's not a northern thing I thought I made that very clear on my post. It's a common human way of burying the dead. There is meant to be no vanity in death.

The people were wrapped up and prayed upon in the manner which is ethnically, ethically and religiously accepted by the vast majority of humans worldwide. Many cultures burn their dead of just throw them in a shallow pit and stack some stones over them.

The practice of cofffins and graves is illogical to those who bury their dead within such short notice added the fact this was a mass grave.

You'll have to give them credit looks like every pit was personalized for the occupants height.

You are just injecting your own personal opinion and establishing it as the standard other humans must follow. One would think you are infallible

My opinion still stands......and for reminders,am entitled to my opinions....i don't like the way they were folded to be buried!!

That's the traditional way of burying people, it is not unique to the Hausa Fulani , many in Africa and beyond Africa bury their dead in similar fashion.

The idea of burying the dead in a Woden coffin is unique to Europeans and came with the rise of catholism.

The use of bamboo to cover the graves is also logical because many insects are repelled by that wood.

Any Muslim man worldwide who dies is packaged and buried exactly the same way naked and simple back to his creator in same manner he came into this world. You must not be conversant with tradition or you are bigoted and looking for an issue to hold on to

Even in death,there is some thing called last respect!
If that is how they are "culturally" buried then i think the northern region has really lost it!

It is not touch and follow anything; it has happened to me, when a random guy met me on the road asking for directions and from there started a new conversation.
He then told me about how he has foreign currency to wash which he took from one of the GMG bags of his boss who is a politician and into money laundering and that they launder money by coating it with a material to avoid EFCC and immigration detection at the airport and that the man treated him badly and that was why he had to take one bag and run and now needed some money to buy 'mercury' which is the chemical agent they use for washing off the coating on the money which includes dollars, Euro and Pounds.

He promised me a huge share of the dollars, took me to a corner and demonstrated how it works with a small quantity, gave me 1 dollar note that he just 'washed' to go and change at the Mallams place, I went and came back and he told me to hurry and go and bring money so that we can buy more chemicals and wash more money which he claimed are in $100 notes.

Na so I begin dey give am money until all my savings were finished and he disappeared, because of the embarassment of being fleeced by another guy, I had to lie to my parents and everyone like your brother has just done that the man hypnotized me with 'touch and follow' instead of telling them that it was my greed that I 'touched and followed' and got seriously burnt
