In my own opinion, I think Supreme Court is setting a bad precedent. That is do anything u can to win election even if it means killing and preventing people from voting. Come to me the supreme Court, I will shield u and affirm your election. Or is it that they are saving money for further elections. It is not supposed to be so becos u cannot steal in broad day light and expect to enjoy ur loot peacefully. Really, they are setting a bad precedent for elections come 2019 where a politician will do all he can to win election bearing in mind that supreme Court will affirm his election. How will these do or die politicians learn their lessons not to rig during elections.
I don't really understand the point that this court is trying to make. Are there no reasonable judges again in Appeal Court. Can u remember any election case that went to this court that was upturned after 2015 elections. Does it mean that judges in the lower court cannot judge cases correctly. Why this rape of justice carried out by this court especially in Rivers and Abia where it was clearly a day light robbery? Really, they have judged but we still have the incorruptible judge who can judge without sentiment.

It depends on evidence that is brought be4 the judges not sentiments or hearsays...they act on evidence not concocted lies or propaganda...
for instance,in akwa ibom,APC asked d supreme court to nullify d election due to no voting held and at d same time bringing up voting materials as evidence...wat do u expect d judges 2 do in such a scenario?

or in d case of rivers,where an inec official who wasn't present at any polling centre was brought in as a witness to testify dat dere was violence in all d entire wards in rivers state...Abi d guy dey omnipresent?

for me,the reasons why the case swung in PDP's favour is the inability of the opposition to present enough evidence to prove deir case or the opposition simply had incompetent lawyers....simple!

Mixed feelings. The only real point in my view is the increasing assertiveness of the courts particularly the supreme court. To rule against the 'ruling' party time and again is no cake walk in a budding democracy. Just as I praised Jonathan I also praise Buhari for continuing the trend of non-interferance. It is the best legacy he can leave, the building and strengthening of institutions. The PDP should not rejoice just yet. The power curve states that those governors will have a torrid time trying to hang unto their mandates and any that does not perform will definitely lose it to the opposition come 2019.

I quite agree wit u on the aspect that all governors must do deir best to perform less they lose their mandate come 2019...I tink just like PDP, d same can be said about APC and oda parties...my opinion though
