Itsekiriman101:Dats absurd... who was the president of Nigerian Guild of Editors(NGE)? who is responsible for receiving the #50m on behalf of NGE from the NSA? Even if adesina was not the one who received it...are you saying he was not aware that such monies were received by NGE? Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria,NPAN, Nduka Obaigbena was invited and questioned by EFCC last year due to funds allegedly received by the NPAN as a body or association, from the NSA....why is the EFCC not going after Nigerian Guild of Editors(NGE) whose president den was adesina? Do i smell or sense a double standard here? This happened under his leadership and d best he can do is to clear his name and that of NGE by stating what the #50m was received for? On dokpesi's matter, its still the same...some one had to be responsible for receiving such funds...hence the arrest of dokpesi...but in the case of NGE,adesina is responsible and must be brought in for questioning by the EFCC(Thats if they have the guts to do so)...If there is nothing to hide...he will be let of the hook...simple! |
uboma:when saint amaechi and saint fashola were reported to the EFCC for apparently embezzling and using their respective state funds for election purposes, wat did buhari do? He still went ahead and gave the duo ministerial appointments in spite of the huge charges hanging over them... What about the former governor of bayelsa who embezzled billions meant for the pensioners of that state...? Yet he was given the mandate to be the governorship candidate of APC while his obvious embezzlement charges were dropped instantly by the same court of law dat buhari accused as corrupt! Wat about the former governor of kogi state late audu who tru the party chairman said he will return the billions he embezzled during his time as kogi state governor if he gets elected as governor of kogi state? wat was buhari's response? You can never fight corruption wen those within u are corrupt...! |
Itsekiriman101:you are a president or chairman of a corporation or body and funds were given to ur corporation, and you claim u had no knowledge of such funds or not responsible for receiving such funds and yet you are a leader of such body or corporation?....was it not the same reason why raymond dokpesi was arrested by the EFCC despite the fact that it was AIT that received the cash as an entity?....pls we sud stop this double standards...!! |
Eluwilussit:i guess after PMB received the IMF president very well, someone will be sent from the presidency to tell that talkative to shut his big mouth... ![]() |
Just reading tru the first page comments and it scares me how a certain coward who calls himself a man wud make a horrendous accusation and instead of hearing the other side of the story, some blinded fellows just make hasty conclusions..simply because they are in a hurry to give this exceptional woman a bad name..why didnt he say anything during the last administration? did a cat cut his tongue or was that same tongue replaced after PMB administration was sworn in....? I guess he will sing a different song if a new administration under another party shows up 2019... That same man will keep quiet forever just like the loquacious osho wen he gets a stinging rebuttal from iweala's reps...dumb zombies ![]() |
ihearYou:no bro...dese r not allegations or beer parlour or pepper soup discussions....dese petitions were submitted on august 2014 and as am talking 2 u,dat same petition is gathering dust at Efcc...waiting 4 an independent efcc to spring into action...so far efcc is not independent and I doubt if dey will ever be...they are like someone described as a toothless bulldog.... |
daretodiffer:So true ![]() |
ronald4lif:D guy na beta person sef...he even showed her the car....Some guys will never show that car to a gf dat dumped them due to their financial crisis... ![]() |
Creamish:@ d bolded....
|
Sunnycliff:you even forgot the Youwin programme for entrepreneurs... and not forgetting the agro initiative programme organised for entrepreneurs who intend going into full scale farming wit funds of up to 10million naira as grants to start up....wat more can u ask from a president... yes he had his mistakes or challenges wen he was President but we all have one too... |
divinehand2003:still hanging on to d past? una no dey tire? Wud u swear dat u Neva in ur life in any capacity make a mistake or blunder dat u wud have loved to correct if only u cud go back in time? Dats how life is...U can't change d past...its gone and will forever remain a history....we can only look forward with hope and anticipation dat things can only get beta 4 naija! Just wish him happy new year and move on....happy new year 2 u Sha..lol |
Happy new year every one...do have a season of uncommon success in ur lives...! God bless us all! ![]() |
not really....its called choice! It also depends on ur relationship with God not the building! ![]() |
CharlesPhc:I totally agree... |
i will blame dat individual for keeping sometin as important as a passport where it can be easily accessible by deir kids....for christ sake ur child knows nothing about such documents... What happened to the warnings we see on medications...keep out of the reach of children.... For me its carelessness on d part of that irresponsible individual...i don talk my own |
1freshdude:Hope that includes his many associates and party members who will soon be named as part of the treasury looters... When a president flaunts court orders,it simply means you as an individual will or can never get justice even if you were wrongfully accused..right? No matter how bad or corrupt d judiciary arm is...comon we are in a democratic environment not a kangaroo republic....If PMB continues with dis path,no single individual in Nigeria will obey any court ruling or order...That also runs contrary to APC popular promise of always abiding to the law....i rest my case! |
useless arsenal team ![]() |
these trucks again? who is the minister or authorities responsible for handle and penalizing these truck drivers....? when are we going to see the end of these falling trucks? |
Thatsall ![]() |
flawless!...spot on!...looking for a unique vocab 2 describe this writeup....reno u deserve ad infinitum likes for Dis....superb!!! |
most of the accidents we r witnessing today is as a result of the reckless nature of the drivers and the negligence of the passengers who will never call such driver to order wen he is either over speeding or overtaking... I know we are all going 2 die someday but we must do d needful to ensure dat we don't lose our lives on an untimely way... the relevant authorities must start clamping down on dese reckless drivers....enuff of dese deaths...! |
GenOrumov:its obvious dat he got info that d DSS or efcc were searching for such incriminating evidence....so he decided 2 take off such documents and has since kept it in a safe place unknown to them...that maybe the reason for such negotiations... I do believe the revelations if not managed properly mite cause a huge crisis and division in Nigeria.... |
lailo:Ok...me too |
ciscaos:just sent u a pm |
still amazed and kind of perplexed why this thread is yet to hit the front page....is sum one trying to hide the truth from coming out? |
LordAdam:My broda u have done well...my thoughts exactly...pls don't blame them....its just that some of the individuals here can't really comprehend a write up or maybe failed English language in their wassec exams.... |
lailo:these whole jonathan did this jonathan did that is getting stale every day....was GEJ the first president to get it all wrong?....was he the first president to initiate a confab? didnt the former president OBJ startup a confab too? was any of the recommendations from the former president obasanjo led administration implemented den? even if GEJ had set up the confab earlier like u said,we will still be talking about it with little or nothing being done because he cant just start implementing a recommendation from the confab without the involvement of the law makers whom you and i have also elected for such purpose... like i said in my closing statements which u ignored for reasons best known to you, constitutional amendments involves all three arms of the government not just the executive.... It starts from our law makers who earn so much but do absolutely nothing.... these are the individuals that hold the key to unlocking the bottlenecks in our security structure and its independence... Dats why we need to pressure our law makers whom we voted for to push for the recommendation the confab report hence make the necessary amendments to our lopsided constitution.. This is not a case of PDP or APC argument...its some tin that involves all and sundry cos government is a "continuum" and if the present law-makers or the APC-led government does not insist on the implementation of that report, then don't be surprised if more sophisticated kidnaps or robbery like the one that happened in bayelsa continue unabated in the country.... |
@OP...u sud have told her to put up something appropriate rather than keep looking and lusting after her.... Am very sure u must have had dat thought long before you committed that act....You even went to a brothel...no wonder u have no control over urself.... ...This only happens wen we allow that "equipment in-between their legs" to do "most" of the thinking...smh ![]() |
bonechamberlain:very gud question.... ![]() |
lailo:sorry bro but thats where you and ritababe got it wrong... And again confab was done on 2014...so ur analogy or reasoning that he had 6yrs to "conduct and implement the confab report" means u weren't in tune with the trends in nigeria.... the confab report is submitted to the national assembly and the senate as a recommendation... its left for those entities i mentioned to do the needful about such recommendations by the confab report... it will be deliberated and made to pass tru several readings before its given to the present government to become a law... But trust me...Even if the confab report has good intentions for our security personnel, that report may not even get to the first reading knowing fully well that most politicians at those exalted positions wud never want an independent security...rather they wud want a security outfit that they can control... So that's the stage where we r rite now... Every policy or implementation did not revolve around the den president GEJ or the current administration led by PMB... when you realize this, then you will pressure those senators or assembly members you "voted" into the hollow chambers to push for the implementation of the confab report esp the security recommendation....Thats the first place to start....enuff said! |
ritababe:security has nothing to do wit Gej...go and read d history of d security in Nigeria b4 u start u blame game.... if u want to solve the security of d nation, make dem independent by amending our lopsided constitution dat has made dem a slave to the executive.... if the present govt cud implement the confab documents done by d previous govt about security, our security will start getting beta... am sure u will also blame gej 4 d fuel scarcity Abi...lol |
see the sort of statements people are making about d kidnap of GEJ cousin....if it had happened 2 d opposition... there wud have been uproar in the state by now...and you wud have critics as usual blaming d state Government or GEJ... until we learn see tins objectively without inputting political sympathy in our comments, our democracy which we always crave for will continue to suffer... |

I see a dying man (Dasuki; Obaigbena) trying to draw others even the innocent with him. Nigerians should be carefu. if we must fight corruption, we must be willing to support this government and all supporters of anti corruption; except we are saying that Nigeria is a hopeless case that cannot attain a corruption free status.
