We can only compare selling of spare parts to selling of cows at best. There is no correlation between open grazing and selling of spare parts.

Nobody in the south is against selling of cows. What we are against is open grazing because of its negative effect on crops and the resultant clashes with farmers. There is also the criminality that some criminal elements perpetrate in the name of herding.

People who sell spare parts rent or acquire shops to do their business without trampling on the rights of others. Cattle herders should learn from them and rent or acquire land to do their business without disturbing farmers and constituting themselves to security threats all over the country.

When I confirmed yesterday night on the show that malami would be d guest for an entire 45-50 mins,I just didn't bother to watch because I knew what to expect from him!

Nlc president said categorically that he acknowledged that there are shortage of funds hence the need to reduce the workforce which is to declare redundancy of some workers!
However when you are sacking workers,you must first meet with the union and explain why you are declaring them redundant and negotiate the severence package of the sacked workers!
The day the state government is giving them a letter that relieves them of their services,their severence pay is handed to them including trainings to ensure that they go into any form of business to keep them active and being able to provide for their family members!
All these are contained in the labour laws and the constitution which elrufai is fully aware of!
But in his usual reckless and draconian behavior, he sacked the workers and gave them just a month salary!
How does a worker who has been rendering services for 20 plus years survive on just that one salary for the rest of their lives?
As for Benue state,its common knowledge that the state nlc is negotiating with the government to ensure payment of the backlog!
That's the way to go rather than declaring the NLC president wanted!

Paid loyalists will soon say Wabba was sponsored by the opposition aka PDP to cause mayhem in Kaduna state forgetting that this same people esp elrufai effectively used the platform of NLC to condemn and take out the former administration!

Those who are in support of what el rufai just did are really the problem Nigeria is currently facing!
Why would you sack civil servants without providing a source of livelihood for them?
These civil servants he sacked are mostly breadwinners in their family!
Once the salary stops,their families members will ultimately resort to dangerous vices like kidnapping or banditry for survival!
Now he is sacking health workers from the same union that are showing solidarity for their fellow workers from another ministry!
This will be a grave lesson to most Nigerians that those who condemn can never handle half of what they dish out!

I understand your concern about state policing however it is a necessity whose time has come!
Its no longer sustainable for us to remain in this grossly outdated system where the security operatives only act based on directives from the centre!
The unitary system of security is the sole reason for the insecurity we are witnessing in nigeria presently!
Even the climes where we copy our democracy from practice state policing because they know insecurity is local and must be tackled from its root!
What you can do is to appeal to the legislative arm of government to map out the required laws that will properly protect the police from undue influence esp from its parent sponsors just the same way its obtainable in other developed climes!
