True to the saying that a prophet is unacknowledged in his home, the Urhobos and Isokos have abandoned their own indigenous belief system and condemned it as devilish, evil and superstitious and embraced the religion of the white man. How sad! Salvation, however, is a personal race regardless of religious convictions.

*** I still wish my friend was alive to see this post on frontpage cry cry cry cry ***** RIP Freeman!
Marthy u be correct guy. Though I'm a core Urhobo and also a Christian, i don't really see it as a white man's religion/black man stuff. Ubiesha received his inspiration and started the religious movement close to 200 years now. Before then, I'm sure he practised the normal ancestral worship and maybe one or two deities. The Europeans also worshipped various Gods before embracing Christianity, likewise Islam for Arabs etc. So what I'm saying is everything with it's own time and season. I know quite a lot about Igbe though and it's quite interesting. I'm talking based on experience 'coz i know a handful of people who or who their parents have obtained 'Udo-Uku' from Kokori, have 'Egwan' etc.
Wadoo.

'Igbe' in yoruba means sh't grin
It is not pronounced that way as you think in Yoruba. It's pronounced like 'Igbe' as in 'Igberaga'(Pride) in Yoruba. Thank God say i sabi small Yoruba. *cleans sweat.

please ooooo i don't understand does it mean that only those three men wearing overall will clean the whole of Ogoni land!!
It's just a small demonstration. The process will take about 30yrs to complete throughout the Niger-Delta. Ogoni is just a starting/focal point.
PoliticsRe: Pictures Of Ogoni Clean-up by Opharhe: 7:00pm On Jun 01, 2016

The clean up is a continuous process that will last 30 years..

Do you know that the North East is a whole region not a community?
Yes, you're correct. It needs continuity. Mind you, Ogoni is a focal point here due to it's peculiarity in the struggle(i believe you know what I'm talking about) but it'll be a continuous process throughout the N/Delta. The N/East also needs attention. Nigeria sef!
PoliticsRe: Lack Of Funds Won’t Stop Ogoni Clean-up - Amina Mohammed by Opharhe: 4:43pm On Jun 01, 2016
simpleseyi:
Assuming that I am an Ogoni or Ijaw man (God forbid), I will never step on, work in or have anything to do in any section of our land that is cleaned by a Fulani man. What an insult, if my brother, our great hero Chief (Dr) Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, the Jesus of our time cannot clean our land for good bad years that he was president, then I will remain in my oil polluted land and continue to live in filth and dirt rather than for an illiterate Fulani man to clean my polluted land. May God not let us eat from our enemies. That is how a true son of his father will behave. But, is there any true son of the father in Ogoni/Ijaw land, I seriously doubt it.
Have the people of Ogoni declared the Fulani man, Buhari and enemy? And who says they're eating from him? The money the govt. and IOCs will spend in the clean up still remains proceeds from the crude oil in the Niger-Delta. That doesn't mean the effort of this administration as it concerns the clean up, is not appreciated by the N/Delta people.
PoliticsRe: South-south Capital Projects In 2016 Budget.. by Opharhe: 11:23am On Jun 01, 2016
sanandreas:
tbaba please we want to know put it up there. Please I want to know projects for delta south and central constituency.
There are allocations for projects in Delta south and central there like the one's in Isoko federal constituency, in Bomadi LG etc for Delta south. There are a few for Delta central like the ones in Ethiope Fed. Constituency, Sapele-Agbor road etc. There are more projects in Delta North though. But with what I'm seeing been attached to Isoko areas(Delta south), I'm certain, Hon. Leo Ogor(Isoko federal constituency) is representing well. I didn't see anything for Ughelli/Udu, Okpe/Uvwie, or Warri federal constituencies but next year dey. If not for this kind of federalism we practise, the FG is not supposed to take on all these burden. I pray the projects come to fruition.

WHAT SORT OF JOKE IS THIS?
It is not a joke. The writer of the book is telling us we're all Biafrans. Though I'm not a Biafran, i think i agree with the writer. We've all be given what i call 'the Biafra treatment' in one way or the other as far as our country, Nigeria is concerned.
Biafra has become and unquenchable ideology....

Substituting the word "presidency" with "the National Assembly" is going to raise a lot of dust. The president will definitely not give his assent to this amendment
The National assembly can still pass it into law without the President anyway. That's if the President vetoes.

Many Niger-Delta leaders and State govts. have condemned this already. For example, E.K Clark called for an end to hostilities and dialogue.

Falae can go to hell with his confab report.
The useless report that gave indigenous rights to Non-indigens . Is this not legitimising the so called herdsmen Especially in the middle belt?
Before we even start talking( not some No go Area)
First question is
Do you want to remain in Nigeria?
If yes, how?
The minimum is autonomous regional government with pocket money to the centre to manage relationships.

Any omoluabi interested can look at Afenifere renewal group take down of the useless confab.

http://watch.ooduapathfinder.com/watch/?p=10895
Who says the report must be implemented 100%? It is still subject to modifications. Bring your own suggestion(s) to the table when the time comes but we first have to agree that all is not well with this present structure hence must be changed. The CONFAB report will go a long way in addressing these issues.

Falae is wasting his time, yoruba nation can never speak with thesame voice again. Islam has teared apart the fabric of love and unity in yoruba nation, reduced them to a voiceless and leaderless group. The current sabouteurs masquerading themselves as leaders of oodua nation are nothing but slaves of the northern hegemony and greedy sellouts, ever ready to sell their ancestral land and people for a political office.

I am still waiting for the day a muslim yoruba elder or leader will speak out and condemn the menace and activities fulani herders. Even the youths of southwest has been sold to northern muslim and are ready to die for them, at the expense of their own land and freedom. Pathetic
But late. Alhaji Lam Adesina, Governor of Oyo state(1999-2003) who took Buhari to the cleaners on this herdsmen issue was a Muslim na.

Ok guys this afternoon I saw about two or three military jets flying towards warri corner (we call villages only accessable by boat from warri 'warri corner'). I didn't post it cause it wasn't news worthy and I only thought it was military jet because of its noise. This evening, just now just now I heard five bomb blasts from warri corner's direction. I don't know the village for sure but I know it's from there cause I live around npa. The blasts came as follows: one came singular, two came as twins then the other two as twins also. I don't know if it's Nigerian army bomb or its the avengers bomb. All I know is that I heard bomb blasts from same direction the jets flew to this afternoon. Hope am safe for posting something that occurred at night??

Lalasticlala what do you think?
Who's responsible?
Hmmm. That's dangerous o. I think it's from the Air force.
