bbaby84: Is this true for lawyers even in Ontario? Please lawyers research your intending province of settlement and requirements. All the best! Yes . It is. Firstly you have to evaluate your LLB and BL first and foremost with NCA irrespective of the province you will practice . This assessment takes a minimum of 6 weeks. The NCA will then decide and tell you to do minimum of 4 courses (Read as Nigerian Law Graduates) Thereafter you will write the province Bar exams for solicitors and Barristers . Each province with its requirement . NCA is the starting point for your process. Your evaluation during immigration has no bearing with it. If you use WES you won't get full marks for professional degree during Express Entry |

Errm just to add as regards regulated profession. Lawyers am sure you all know you don't need WES. It's NCA that evaluates your professional degree when you want to do your Bar exams in Canada. IQAS is still your best bet. |

bbaby84: Honest answer : its cost £17 to order both transcripts and he's had to upgrade to ICAP so it was better we evaluated both. You see?
The truth is some people who ran away from WES are still going to need it especially some of us that are in certain profession and want to settle in ontario. For example me, I didn't bother with WES as I would have only added 8 points. Here I am how many months down the line paying 300 something CAD for ICAP as I cannot get into my field without it. You don't pay extra to WES to evalute your multiple degrees.
So like I said it's your choice. Alright then. |

bbaby84: Not necessarily. Perhaps for those with Nigerian degrees however those from the new generation universities get their transcripts with no issues. In my opinion, it's one's choice. Honest question : What will evaluating both achieve? More points and pay for two transcripts instead of one. You don't use the evaluation for anything other than immigration. So how sway? |

kunmi5: We shouldn't treat contrasting views as an act of war. Kindly stop refering to irrelevant past post especially when its been trashed, back-up with references, accepted by every party (EVEN ME)
Further to the ECA issue in question. Dupsychoo is correct, but is it the only way possible? Even though single evaluation of Masters gives you what you want, I dont see any reason why one should leave out other degrees when you wont get charged per degree (For WES ECA though). At least for mine, I wasnt charged extra for MBA, BSc in a single evaluation. You only get charged when you update a new degree after evaluation certificate/statement has been finalised. (You might want to leave it out such if facing problems getting transcripts for lower degrees) Whats your take on this?
Kindly, lets reply without flaring tempers. Its not my intention to insult, have a tussle of words or have the last say. We're all here to learn. Hoping to hear from you. Why are you evaluating your anything less than your highest degree? The ECA your evaluate for immigration purposes is not relevant to my knowledge for any other thing . So evaluating your Bsc and Msc is a waste of time for those evaluating and your processing time takes longer . |

You don't need your UCI number for anything. Your app number is enough. You don't red to know your visa office now cos your app is still being processed inside Canada 2. The Schedule A form go to CIC websites and look for forms you will find it. It's called IMM5669E 3. This address on your certificate , write a LOE as you have stated here and explain it as you have stated. |

This same question goes for other documents/sections as well, i.e. do we attach d necessary LOE with individual document meant for d particular section or we have to upload all LOES together at d additional documents section?

mcstan18: Goodday e-fam Please is there anyone in this Canny journey, or knows anyone in it who studied Dentistry? - What are the requirements for evaluation of credentials and which body does that? - The person is an accompanying spouse and she says one of her friends there had to go back to school for 2years before she could practice. That the path for dentists is different from that of medical doctors. How credible is this please? - Which province(s) would most likely favor people in such careers? Personal experiences would be appreciated too. Thanks fam. Post this question in living in Canada thread |

Nogen: OK Family! Good Morning from Naija. I have some concerns and I hope to get some answers here.
Been reading up on Air Maroc reviews and they are giving me some cold chills. Been asking myself who sent me? Never used them before. Used to flying Klm, Air France, Virgin Atlantic, Delta and Emirates. But when I look at the amount of money we would be saving , it makes so much sense. It can pay about 1 year house rent for us in Canada. Also, my POE is Montréal, my base.
Those who have used Air Maroc here, please I need your reviews. Na your own I go believe. Lol. How's their service, in flight entertainment, the Casablanca airport? Thanks as i await your responses. Hi i used them to the UK last year. The in flight entertainment to Casablanca was no it at all. However you will change planes in Casablanca to a bigger one so maybe better entertainment. Food: i loved their food as my only other flight experience is Kenyan Airways. Airport : The airport is lovely ,lots of fast food joints and places to eat and wait. My kids had a good time . Also the kids will get play toys and a bag with puzzle and drawing books. You will get blankets ask immediately you get in. That's what i would most likely use when am relocating too |

Gosh I cant wait to tell my story. It will be televised
ADVICE ON POF
For those who haven't submitted , if you have more than one account showing you proof of funds make a table / front cover explaining. This mistake by CIC has robbed so many people . I know someone on another site after 8months rejected , he wrote to CIC and was given PPR i think a month later.
God give us our own testimony |

boldinc: PPR came through yesterday guys...
EE Profile – September 2, 2016 CRS - 468 1st ITA – January 11 Withdrawn – April 11 2nd ITA – April 13 AOR – July 11 Med Passed – July 24 IP1 – July 24 NA2 – July 24 We do not need additional documents – Sep 8 IP2 – December 6 ADR – December 7 (Consent form from daughter’s mum) ADR Submitted – December 8 PPR – December 14
My application was straight forward... Wife was PA, Wrote IELTS just once... spouse too, did another naija PCC (only PCC required) when submitting for 2nd ITA, POF was just a simple letter from co-operative society from my wife's company, I didn't need to do ECA. I added my daughter from another woman and I got an ADR for a consent letter which her mum did willingly without issues.
Everyone that got ITA alongside myself and even after have all gotten PPR and some have even landed... @vcole, @SlowelybtSurely @40malappy and so on...
The race is not for the Swift... Keep your goal in mind and do all it takes to achieve it. Cross all the Hurdles (Poor IELTS results, ECA delays, Rejections, etc) with your head up and chest out. Aim for the finish line... Stay Prayerful!
I wish everyone all the best! ... I'll be glad to answer any questions you might have. Wow i didn't know your PPR is in the pipeline since . Congrats. Finally the wait it over . |
