i got my ielts result few days ago, which made my crs points shoot up to 453.My question is

is it advisable to plunge into the EE pool since i recently got MR for my november 2014 fsw application.(Medical passed) and PPRF paid.

If i go ahead with the EE profile and get ITA,will i need to pay the application fee,PPRF fees and take a new medical examination all over again. My medical was done this month and PPRF paid this month too

Can i have 2 application running or i have to withdraw one ?
Good morning sir/ma are you really serious or you are joking? You already have an active ITA that has gotten to Medicals passed and you want to file another application. What a WAWU.

I understand that it's taken this long(2004) but are you really serious .am just amazed at this line of reasoning.

Please do t do it. Go and start gathering money for ticket and reevaluate your POF and redo medicals cos you will be asked for another one soon.

Pele I know the wait can be frustrating.

Hello sis,

Interest is calculated using this formula: PRT/100 where P is the Principal, R is the Rate and T is the Time.

If you want to invest N5 million for 91 days (3 months) at the rate of 13.4%

Interest will be N5,000,000 * 13.4/100 * 91/364 which will be N167, 500.

However, if you want to go for longer tenor i.e 364 days at the rate of 18.5%, your interest will be N5,000,000 * 18.5/100 *364/364 which will be N925,000.

Accountants in the house, make una put mouth
wink
Ok thanks. Someone has taught me. I think your calculation is correct

Secondary market for FBN ystdy was 91days- 14%, 120days-17.5%, 134 days-18% as I was abt going for the 134days, the marketing head of the branch came in and told the marketer discussing wt me that there was nothing like that, that I could only get 91days-13.4%,182days- @ 17.4% and 364days-18.3%. I just waka and went for 204days @ 17% with GTB. Got debited immediately, may not sound like a good deal but I'm happy with it, 1st time doing tbills and the interest is enormous as compared with FD which I'm used to.
Hi please how do they calculate the interest? Let's say I have 5 million in Tbills for 3 months. What's the interest on the sum? - 13.4 x 5 million divided by 100= 670000. Is that the interest

@miella please help with my question

Please house someone should kindly assist me with an answer. I have only 15days to submit this passport.

This is the exact content of the letter.

YOUR IMMIGRANT VISA(S) APPEAR(S) READY TO BE ISSUED, IF THERE HAS BEEN NO CHANGE IN YOUR FAMILY CONFIGURATION. IF THERE HAVE BEEN ANY CHANGES, PLEASE CONTACT OUR OFFICE BEFORE PROCEEDING.
PASSPORT(S)

You are asked to submit your passport(s) and documentation BY COURIER within 15 days. We recommend DHL courier, using a pre-paid return envelope.

OR

You may also use the services of VFS Global Ghana by following the instructions on their website at: http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/ghana/ under the “Passport Transmission Services” section.

Applicants residing in Nigeria (PASSPORT SUBMISSION ONLY)

You may use the services of VFS Global Nigeria by following the instructions on their website at:
http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Nigeria/ under the “Passport Transmission Services” section. If you received a letter requesting additional documents, please use a courier service.

Please note that submission of passport(s) in person will not be accepted at the Canadian High Commission.

My question is If I can send the passport to the Canadian High Commission directly using a return envelop DHL or if I have to use VSF global?

Do I have to pay the transmission fee for either of the cases or for only VSF?

Furthermore, my family status has not changed yet the letter says I have to submit updated family information using form IMM8. Where do I get this form and should I fill it manually and attach to envelop containing my passport?

Lastly, the passport photograph requires a professional photograph with stamp and address. For this Naija so, in PHC precisely, were can one get such services. I usually used the normal road side guys but I give them the specifications and make sure they follow it to the latter.

Any other suggestions as to how to go about this last phase of the PR would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

I cant remember, its been a while. In Ghana, LLB is a bachelors degree although its specialized in law exclusively unlike some common law jurisdiction where you can add other areas to it. Obtaining the BL makes you a professional. And WES doesn't assess the BL for obvious reasons. Like I said, the jurisdictions may have an impact on how it is viewed. But thanks for the info.

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by optionese: 12:17pm On Jun 14, 2017
It's like we have forgotten the Canadian Express Entry is a point based system. Every factor of your life is counted on point and that gives you the maximum desired score.

People are now getting carried away with the low scores and not not maximising their points. I hope for all our sakes the low points continue to be consistent.

Does it really matter? If he uses that first degree to get ITA does he need a higher evaluation?
Oga move, if you don't understand what am talking about please don't comment. Did I say he cannot get ITA with his degree assessed as first Bachelor's degree?

My assessment from WES states as follows:

Major/Specialization: Law
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (four years)
Remarks: The Bachelor of Laws is the first professional degree in law in
Ghana and represents the completion of three years of
professional study in a Common Law Jurisdiction
Ok o., so when you filled your form did you refer to it as a professional degree? The equivalency says Bachelor's degree. Mine from says it's "compares to the completion of a first professional university degree in law."

I did WES for mine. Is there any difference.
Is your assessment out? What was the final evaluation? I am here to assure you that you may have just wasted money as WES reviews your certificates as 1st degree and not professional degree.

Note to others. Learn to read this thread. People are still asking questions that are all on the thread.

How about expired passport detail...did you fill ALL in.
@mummyjaygirls this info is not correct. When you are filling details for your children, the question is to name any family member who is not included in this application. So you ought not to fill any family member for your child as I am assuming that both parents are in the application.

1.i didn't use WES but whatever they sent you should be accepte and can be uploaded.
2.on POF CIC has a specification, go to the website and read it. If your bank cannot provide the exact details as needed by CIC all you need is your 6 months balance and a LOE telling them your bank did not issue the letter in the required format.
3.you should submit your 6 months balance and the till certification. You can submit on the 87th day or even the 90th day
4.this question is irrelevant
5.no risk
6.no waste of time and money
7if there is a question on that issue of course he should answer yes.

Please this is important to me, someone please advise. embarassed embarassed sad sad

Please can someone help with the below.

Pretty Please!!!!

Hello My Canada FamBam, How are you doing? I hope you guys are keying into the praise wave with @nathenielbassey on Instagram. We can take all delays and issues to God. Our Olowogbogboro is sure to do wonders.

Please I have some questions and will appreciate assistance;

1) Can I upload the WES letter I received via mail with no WES stamp on it or must I upload the one with Stamp?
2) For POF, must I add letter of non indebtedness from my bank and must i add a reference letter?
3) Must my statement of account be 6 months before I can submit. I am using treasury bills for my POF but I also want to add my statement because it shows my salary and also I have quite a sum there but I am printing from February 1st and for it to be 6 months, it has to be July 31st which is too close to submission date (a month). Please advise.

4) Did anyone use narrations such as "my investment" or "for my tbills" or for "payment of rents" or "refund of rent" when transferring in and out of the account, I have my treasury bills letter to validate this.

5) what is the risk of submitting about 3 weeks to submission last date
6) Is it advisable to run the test with my HMO before going to Qlife.
7) Also, this is for a friend, he applied for tourist visa in April without knowing he would get ITA in May. Should he refer to his tourist visa application (still in process, no visa yet) and also provide his UCI or should he leave it out. He is a bit confused because he read on CIC and Canadavisa that there is something called 'dual' application and each application is treated separately.

I will appreciate all questions answered and would be lovelier if people that actually did it advise as well.

God is on this journey with us and HE that has brought us thus far definitely has a plan.[/quote]

I was able to log in this morning, but I know some people are still having issues. Someone suggested using internet explorer but me I used Firefox, just try all browsers, one will work.

PS- the cic page still has the information on slow working of the site, I'm sure they will give allowance to affected applicants who can not meet deadline. Keep calm
I have used 2 phones one laptop. I used Chrome. Let me try using UC Browser
