I am not sure indicating separated and just LOE will work. She will need to show evidences that the divorce process has started. If not, she will have to get him to provide a sworn statement that they are separated, that he has no intention of reconciliation, no intention of ever immigrating to Canada, and agrees that she can never sponsor him for immigration, then IRCC may accept that.

You really need to talk to a lawyer.

Hi, generally I think its preferable that the occupation on your marriage certificate should be in sync with your occupation / job at the time of marriage or at the time the certificate is dated; the job itself will appear in your work / personal history).
I am not too sure, but maybe the LOE may work, if in your case you explain that it was a temporary job while he was looking for a permanent role in his preferred occupation.
Others knowledgeable should please advise.

Dis gave me a soothing relief to a little extent. I've been feeling very bad since d last 16 hours cos I couldn't sleep dat I checked my result around 3am today being d release day. It's my 2nd IELTS. I had LSRW-7.5,7,7,7 in d 1st one and hoped to get 8777 in d May 25th IELTS. I did as advised here, treated almost 60 listening exams downloaded on youtube and started getting between 35-38 after treating about 40. I felt I was good to go but really disappointed to score LSRW-7.5,7.5,6.5,7. The exam was tougher than d first one I did I'm sure so luck/God's favor is key. Really scared to rewrite dis IELTS of an exam again sef. Does anyone know what's delaying Manitoba PNP? They said they were clearing backlogs and would start afresh on May 15 with d introduction of CAN$500. They even said they would do d next draw after May 15 cos they've not done any this year. Till date, nothing has been heard. Partially thinking PNP mhen!

What's d name of dat other accepatable english exam option u see when filling d EE form sef? Does d exam take place in Naija at all? If yes, has anyone taken it before? What's it like? It's like IELTS is now gradually turning into WES o, any IQAS out there?

When they asked for my updated documents, they asked for letter from my current employer fortunately i hadnt resigned. if you intend to resign make sure you have something fetching you some money which should reflect in your statement of account because they also asked me to prove salary payment by way of statement of account in a place where i claimed to have worked in 2012.

I am the principal applicant and my mum sent the pof to my spouse from her company account and he forwarded it to me.

The question now is do I just need a gift deed from her saying that she gave us and is it ok that she sent it from her company account t.

I don't think you need a gift deed from your mum
. A LOE stating that your husband transfered the money to you is sufficient. That's what I think.

Hi dear. I uploaded my marriage certificate under the slot for that and uploaded an affidavit of change of names and newspaper publication under the slot for legal name change because I already had those documents. If you don't, I think you can just upload the marriage certificate in both slots.

@ persons with concerns about the recent ruling on LGA marriage certificates. I believe someone had mentioned here that laws are not retroactive. Go to the registry and attempt to get a replacement for it as the news article stated, otherwise use it like that. The ruling addressed LGA certificates that were customised and did not conform with the Form E.

@ymummy, my wait was barely weeks but felt like years. I request for gcms notes twice. Lol! I logged into my cic account severally. Just hang in there.

Not divorced or separated yet but considering it if need be, he does not have health issues, just thinking aloud in case he has since one has to submit the spouse's medical certificate even if he isnt accompanying. Also think he was not totally truthful on his place of work at the US embassy. I am considering applying as a single applicant while i support with a divorce proceeding/seperation letter cause i dont want to be caught in the web of misrepresentation and being banned for 5yrs because of his actions.Though my passport is in married name, i intend changing to maiden name.

You know what Wumi, you need to articulate all your concerns in one comment so that everyone can have a good idea. I recall reading of a medical issue. I also recall reading where you indicate divorce or separation. Articulate everything. There are more than capable hands and experienced people who may also be in similar issues like yourself.

Yes I have got appointment letter and reference letter. I will have to be 100% sure that affidavit is acceptable so that I don't risk messing up my application.

Pls I need clarification on my marital status name.I am going to be the PA and I'm still using my maiden name after marriage,both my local and foreign certificate bears my maiden name and also my bank accounts I intend to use. Also my first intl passport and the recent reissue one I did last month both bears my maiden name, only of course my court registry certificate which bears a "compound name" comprising of my maiden+hubby name?
My Question now is, hope it won't pose any probs as regards my application. Thanks in advance for your responses.

I don't want to sound arrogant, but the reason I've been too pushy about this is the continuous insistence of the Principal Applicant having POF ONLY in their account and I have read conflicting and confusion argument over this and I want people to see the flexibility and not be restricted with limited choices - especially with the use of gift deeds
