Lol my landing gist is so boring and uneventful.
Travelled with 2 children on Egypt air. Flight waa good ,my children had packed meals from home so didn't eat plane food. Flight was delayed in LOS so the layover at Cairo wasn't so long .
When I landed ww spent less than 20 minutes at immigration. Only question asked was 'how much money did you bring to Canada'.signed my COPR after answering statutory questions and that of my children. Proceeded to do my SIN and went to pick up my bags.
Came out to a windy -10 C , my children were excited by it all ; my aunt picked us up . For now I have sorted my bank and phone number. Hope to get my kids to school by Monday

Good to hear from you Mummyjaygirls. Been a while.

Hephgirl is still MIA, I think optionese got in part 3 and elfmann is now @elfmannisback.

Cochtrane, nice to still see the good work you are doing. Have you left yet?

Waiting for extra degree or scores to drop.

Congrats to Ndidi on her CPCO

Hi. No PPR yet. Still waiting.

Hello lovelies,

Silent reader but decided to become active because if everyone stayed silent, this much knowledge would have never been unleashed.

Brief timeline:

ITA: Jan 9
Applied: Jan 26
Request letter for Schedule A & travel history (even though I have extensive travel history in my app): Feb 8
Meds still not applicable

I am currently doing research but any helpful tips about Schedule A will make my day e.g why they might want it and best way to go about it. I promised I’ve read all the threads and I’m not coming in as a lazy novice. I just felt the urge to share what was happening maybe someone has some golden info they forgot to share.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Of course congrats to everyone that recently got ITA!

You already answered your question . Schedule A is for all your travel history

I no add sha. Shey they will now reject it because of that one? Did they state it on their site naa that it is a must. Bia, happytbaby, don't comman tension me here o. I should raise CSE for it? cry

No don't raise CSE for it. If they need it they will ask and you submit. London has a reputation for asking irrelevant stuff and documents already submitted. It's their method to delay applications.

Please this Additional family form IMM5406, does one have to fill all relatives even tho the person is a single applicant?

The persons that you paid for in your application are the relatives to mention. Check views submitted application , a place holder will surely be waiting for you to upload the documents

Good morning guys,
At what stage does one get ADR for "Additional Family Information"? Does this mean PPR is near? Background check is NA2 btw.

Also how does one submit it as theres no placeholder? Should it be submitted via CSE?

E se pupo!

Foe real ,for real. I think that's prelude to PPR. What does your BG say?

Modified didn't read the second part. You can be in NA2 and get PPR. Very possible. Congrats soon come.

I want to submit the application as soon as possible.
Please how can I get police report? I or my spouse can't make it to Lagos for it, no time. I don't know if this has been talked about here but please I need to know how to get it since I am not in Lagos. Thank you everyone.

Call Mr Moshood himself, perhaps you can courier your form to him

Out of curiosity,
Can one apply to school as an international student and on getting PPR, landing and getting PR card now inform the University or College so as to be able to pay domestic fees? Has this worked for anyone? Will one need to apply from scratch again to the school?

Just wondering...
Ask @osemigho

How many months into your application did you order your notes?

I ordered 9weeks after AOR. Advice would be to order after movement to a Local VO

In hindsight, we truly should have waited a bit. Although we found in the notes after much studying that eligibility & criminality have been passed. AOR was 31st October. Application has been on NA before and after ADR late November so we hoped the notes will prompt some sort of activity. VO is Ottawa btw.

Ottawa (insurance cover you) .

Hi guys,

Is there any write up or guide on how to understand GCMS notes? Its a whole 84 pages and Im not sure what part is relevant. Please help

84 pages is quite small . That would show little or no activity by the VO. Check pages 2-3 to see the summary of your file and also the last few pages. When was your AOR? I think you may have ordered too early. Mine was 183pages and didn't contain much.

I'm sorry but what is wrong with reading the 84 pages in YOUR GCMS notes?

I know you have apologised already, eventually when you order a GCSM note you will see what promoted his/her question. I read mine for like three days before getting the hang of it. Mind you i had read discussions on canadavisa of how to read notes but still.

hey babe. How now? Pls what do u know about pathways for/experiences of foreign trained lawyers integrating into practice in Canada?

It's quite straight forward but little bit expensive
1. Go to NCA website. its the regulatory body for lawyers in Canada . The person would need to access their university degree and Nigerian law school cerification
2 assessment takes about 6 weeks .
3 after the assessment, the NCA will determine the number of exams you need to write (between 6-8courses) exams are scheduled taken twice yearly . You can spread the six courses as you like
4. After you pass this courses then you are equivalent to a Canadian university graduate.
5thereafter you have to write the bar exams (solicitors and barristers exams) Each province has its own bar exam.
That's basically it.
It's quite an expensive and long process.

There are fulani herdsmen in Canada too tongue

The herdsmen control the herds by trucks or ATVs.

They have guns too. The triak of a sask farmer would begin on monday. He shot and killed an aboriginal man on his farm in 2016. Aboriginal groups wants the court to treat the case as an hate crime, due to the backing and support the white farmer has received from racist groups.

Hahahahaha @fulani herdsmen

Reminder: There’s still time to check if your child under the age of 22 now qualifies as a dependent. If you want to add them to your existing PR application or sponsor them later, you must let us know by Jan 31, 2018. Learn how: https:///w7J7uYJBBY

I recall some people wanted to adopt and add their siblings. Hope this applies .

Racism is the main reason why I probably cannot settle anywhere else than Toronto where over half of the pple there are immigrants. It is like living in a house where the landlord does not live in and you are all tenants. Someone mentioned here that they have had eggs thrown at them and told to go back to their country, which is quite sad.
I sometimes interprete racism as anger, because the ones that usually display it are the unsuccessful ones who believe you have come to deprive them. It's like owning a house and you let a room out to a tenant, sometime later, the tenant buys your house and you are now the tenant, you are bound to feel some form of resentment.

Racism is looking at anther human being and believing you are superior to them and that you are insulted about their existence.

The analogy you used is called oppression.

my people, good evening.

Please I have a question - Lawyers, when filling the Study and Language section of the application Forms, do I need to declare law school studies even though I don't have an ECA for it?

Thank you
