Redaddict: Pls I would like to find out if there is still hope for someone with a CRS score of 362. This is my 2nd IELTS and it stillamounted to 362.
I don't know if I should apply for a remark or just take this as a sign to bow out of this relocation pursuit. I've been devastated since the result came out. It's just so annoying after all the efforts and money spent on WES and other things. NK My 1st score is LRSW 7.5, 7, 6.5, 8 The 2nd is LRSW 7.5, 7.5, 7.5, 7 Hubby score is LRSW 5, 5, 5.5, 6.5
My age is 34. You both need to do ielts to maximise your points and also think of PNP route, check @superchi posts and the various websites for info. Don't let anything or anyone trigger you. You are here for a mission, get your tips and forge ahead. Good luck |

Blingyrie: Guys, ita is out, check it out http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/rounds.asp Finally. I hope we have enough good news in this thread. This was what I was talking about some weeks ago about people not maximising their points, now the thing has started creeping back up. @perks did you get an ITA? Congratulations |

Chimnauvsky: Thanks @Algbenguze. I have done the calculation and got 579 points. I guess its safe to proceed rather than wait, right? You have definitely miscalculated. Your score has to be within 400-470(cos am assuming you don't have a job in Canada) |

Chimnauvsky: Thanks for your advise. I checked it and saw a points difference of only 15 points between using an MSc and BSc for education. Not sure how this translates to other sections. That's all you lose 15 points. What was the score without the MSc is it up to 430-450? |

honeybeetom: Hello everyone, I just joined this group two weeks ago and I just wish I had joined earlier. I got PPR last week and am the principal applicant with one dependant (my husband). In the PPR, we were asked to send our passports within 15 days to Ghana for the visa. However, husband's passport is not available, his passport is in another embassy for visa due to work-related things and so he won't be able to withdraw his passport till July ending when it will be given back to him. Kindly advise on what to do as the 15 days deadline is so close by. Thank you. Congratulations. Kindly share your timeline with the house |

Chimnauvsky: Hello guys. I am new here and have read a lot but had to skip plenty pages. Here's my situation. I have completed the IELTS with an average of 8.5 I have up to 3 years work experience. I have a BSc degree and doing an MSc now (due to finish latest February next year). I am not sure whether to send in my BSc for assessment now or wait to finish my MSc and use that instead. How much difference will using the MSc make for my application? What do you guys advise? Use the crs calculator and calculate your score. Then you can make a decision |

Rudy007: Thanks for the reply. I read somewhere on this thread that there's hardly an increase in the reading and listening section after remarking. How true is this?? Please I need to know cos am seruizly thinking maybe I should go for a remark or better still to rewrite the exam and hope for a better score You can do both. It's up to you. |

Boss13: For listening and reading - No. for writing and speaking - possible.
Hence waste no time for a remark and rewrite the test All four parts can be remarked. |

Rudy007: Pls my ielts result still baffles me. 6.5,6.5,6,6.5 LRWS. is it advisable to go for remark? Could there be any chance of increase in any category after remark?. Thanks Yes you may get increased score in any or all of the 4 parts. It's takes about 10 weeks if am not mistaken. If any part is upgraded you will be refunded your 15k |

ysmd: Hello am I also have a similar issue . I was refused study visa in January this year due to insufficient funds. Am soon to get Ita now and I now have sufficient fund which came into my account in March. The source of the fund is from a property I rented out for 5 years.i intend to get Ita in july and apply in October when the funds will be seated in my account for more than 6 months. My question now is do I still need to proof source of funds even if the money is more than 6 months in my account? You can only hold off on ITA for 3months so if the plan is to wait till October then you should accept an ITA towards the end of July. However your money will be 6months in September though so July is OK. You don't need to prove source of funds if the money has been there for 6months |

sammyacbxyz: Hi guys. I have Ontario PNP (600 points). All other documents are ready except printing bank statements and medicals.
Should I go ahead and do my medical or should I wait to get ITA first? Does it matter if medicals are done before ITA date? I don't think the date of medicals matter so long as it's valid at the time of submission. I suggest you get your bank statements ready Wednesday too, since you are ready to submit. |

[quote author=Yettx02 post=57751236]Hello, I have been a silent reader for a while. I am in the process of evaluating my certificate. I have an LLB certificate from Unilag and also a Diploma II certificate. I know that I should use IQAS, however what I am not sure of is whether it is necessary to evaluate my diploma since i used it as direct entry into 200 level. If i dont evaluate it, I hope IQAS will not say my transcript does not have 100 level.
Evaluate only your LLB. I also did diploma too. I evaluated only my LLB |

t405: Guys I was reading on canadavisa forum that during medicals the doctors asked a 4yr old some questions and the child dint respond and it prolonged the medicals of the family as IRCC requested for subsequent evaluations for the child.
Am asking because my 3 year old is quite timid, she won't talk to someone she doesn't rily know except she's in a very jovial mood. Ve bin trying to get her out of her shell against our upcoming medicals but my madam can't just be bothered
Pls those that have done medicals for their kids of around age 3/4yrs old what was the experience like.what is expected of the kids? Please don't worry yourself. A timid/shy child is not an offence. Perhaps the doctors notice some medical challenges |

zaraman: 2014 till june 2017 is a long time.i have read of people who waited almost or over a year to get PPR after medicals under the 2014 fsw stream.some had to redo their medicals.
2014 fsw is processed differently from the new EE.
since we hardly have folks from the 2014 fsw on this thread comment on thier timeline, such recent information would have guided one in my position to make an informed decision.
A lot of people in 2014 fsw ,who couldnt wait ,had to submit a new application in EE in 2016 and most got their PPR within a month to 3months.
all am saying i do not have the luxury of time to wait another year to PPR under the 2014 fsw.
If there are 2014 applicant who got any update from cic this year, could you guys kindly share your timeline.
Had to do 4 ielts this year before i got a 9. If you are certain people have done this, then best you get a new profile cos am sure there would be a draw on Wednesday and 453 is a good score. I can't n imagine how you coped with the delay. Would you be kind enough to describe how the earlier process works? Bdw are you a government worker? I here more scrutiny is put on their applications. |
