yeah eye floaters. You should endeavour to visit a good eye clinic to have it looked at. You should act as fast as possible

Dr please the vision on my right eye is cloudy/blurry , I’m also experiencing some pain on it especially when I go out in the sun, the pain gets worse. What could be wrong?
Note that I have myopia

i ll like to know how old you are. Was it sudden or gradual ? Any thing of significance happened to that eye ? Does vision remain blurry when looking at things near to you?

She was also told to apply eye drops on the affected eye along side the functioning eye...is there any need to still treat the affected eye

the cause of the glaucoma is considered in order to decide but in primary open angle glaucoma, damage could be more on one eye than the other eye or sometimes noticed in one eye first before on the other one. Whatever the doc recommends, she should follow

Pls I'd like to know if a friend of mine has a good chance of survival...she was told in d hospital that she has glaucoma which has completely damaged her left her(she wasn't even aware and so didn't notice it on time) but the right eye is still good...she has been placed on immediate treatment(3 different eye drops)...pls,I'd like to know if she still stands a chance of a normal life with the functioning eye (like is there a guarantee that if properly managed ,the glaucoma won't affect the other eye)

glaucoma doesn't cause treath to life so you friend ain't dying as a result of the disease. Yes her vision in the other eye can be very well preserved and she ll be able to function well but she needs to be consistent with her recommended drugs and regularly visit her doctor for check up where he would be able to assess how well the drugs are bringing down the pressure and if there's progression of the disease. It could be financially demanding but she just has to do what's needed . Goodluck to her

I was born with a normal visions on both eyes. but by the time I was 12 years old someone pushed me with force and her finger hit my right eye and tears was coming out of it but thank God there was no physical damage on my right eye From that moment my right eye became blurry.
That is I see blurry images from a distance but at close distance let say 25mm I see object clearly. When in school sitting at the back sit i can see what is on the board with my left eye but blurry with my right eye and I am not comfortable with it that makes me to move to the front sit to enable me see clearly and not stretching my eyes..

So I did research and I saw Anisometropia a medical condition where one have a normal vision on on eye and blurry at the other..

I am yet to do eye test.
Advice please.......

well, at puberty, there could be some changes however , you could take her to a clinic around you for an inspection

there are a number of reasons the eyes water and it would take a physical assessment to establish the cause in this case. You could walk in a clinic around you to have that done .

it's a naevus . It most times doesn't call for concern. Just watch out for changes like an increase in the size or blood vessels growing around it. It is unlikely though

Gurus in the house i need help for my laptop. It appears as though i do not have control over the mouse pointer using the touch pad . The pointer drags, sometimes freezes and on a few occasions, i observed it was moving without being operated . Lately, i tried reducing the data consuption through some self help videos on youtube. I also downlowded some apps from the microsoft playstore . Someone please help me on how to fix it . I use windows 10 .

damage to vision caused by glaucoma is not reversible. The goal for treatment is to preserve any vision left so the person doesn't go totally blind. There are good surgeons in nigeria aswell. Just make your findings on a good one you could use

use it for the while he/she asked you to use for adjustment and if it doesn't normalize, you either ho back or seek a second opinion on your lenses / prescription

I am short sighted and I have been using lenses to aid my vision. I got a new one because the old one got broken and the doctor recommended I used photochromic lens because of my complaint

no component of astigmatism in your prescription? Anyways, if it doesn't get better after a few weeks of use, go back to your Dr to review your lenses and prescription

I have been having redness of eyes in recent years and this is due to the nature of my work. I think the redness started when I started construction works. The dusts, irritation and all. Can you please recommend any eye drops to relief this redness.
Also, lately I've been having some discomfort on the right eye and bloodshot veins around the sclera especially when I'm stressed which I have been lately.

the redness might be as a result of your exposure to irritants or it could aswell be something other than than. There's really nothing i can do for you online unless i get to do an exam on ur eyes . I 'll suggest you visit your eye doc

Good evening doc, I got a new lens February this year and I was given a photochromic lens as suggested by the doctor because of the complaint I made. I have been using lens but not photochromic. I noticed that this one I got makes an object bent towards the edges. I went back to complain and I was told that maybe it's because it's my first time using photochromic lens but it's 7 months now and it's the same though the edges of objects no longer look as bent as it used to. Hope my eyes are not being affected the more. Thanks

what refractive condition were you diagnosed of?

Go back with a police man to the hospital and see if you can get a lead to track her from her hospital records

The people defending and making excuses for the incompetence of this govt should continue. The good news is, you wouldn't be spared when the disaster comes fully. Only God knows what's coming for nigerians.
