As this may be the season of happiness, not everyone partakes in the joy of the festivity, I am one of those. Let me cut the chase and go straight to the point.

I'm a 400 level student of civil engineering, I've got a younger sister, I'm older than her with a couple of years although she's yet to gain admission despite the fact that she has tried severally. she decided to start working pending whenever she gains admission.

Along the line, she became a cultist and she suddenly became a heavy smoker, drinker and a drug addict (tramadol, rephnol, codine,etc).

At this point my mum (she's a single mother, my dad died a couple of years back) did she least she could do by scolding, reporting her to the leaders in the church, kinsmen and everyone whom she thought she(my sister) would listen to but all these efforts proved abortive as she deteriorated further as she graduated to bringing men to the house at odd hours of the night.

As at last week, my mum called me and was sobbing over the phone, she told me that my younger sister beat her up because she confronted her about her behavior.


right now I'm confused, in order not to act rashly, i decided to seek for advice from this noble forum.

10 Constant things despite the “CHANGE” era for every Nigerian Living in Nigeria

This is one list that will definitely have many people murmuring about “how true” and applicable it is to their lives as Nigerians. I just woke up this morning after having a dream of drinking pure water all night (despite holding the pure water in my hand before dozing off) and this title hit me. So let’s get started and see if this list applies to every Nigerian or some Nigerians

1. Never expect Power (Electricity) when you most need it: This is a natural phenomenon for most Nigerians. So many acronyms have been given to the abbreviations of our Electricity sector like NEPA (Never Expect Power Always), PHCN (Please Hold Candle Now or Persistently Hoarding Current in Naija) and so much more. Imagine, the area I live only gives 30 minutes of light in a day (We only rush to pump water for domestic use and don’t bother about putting on the home entertainment system afterwards) and probably when one of their operatives that is high on “Ruffie” decides to be generous, they leave it for about 2hours+ (It is never up to 3 hours, NEVER!).

2. Believe Government Promises Made at your own Peril: Yeah, I know many would say “This is quite unpatriotic” but this is the reality we are faced with in this country. If you love yourself and know that you don’t want to risk having a premature heart attack or an unannounced BP, get your mind away from the promises made by the government until they are actually fulfilled (Or partially fulfilled till they transfer it to the next administration).

3. When Dollar goes Up, Everything Goes Up (I mean EVERYTHING!!!): Imagine where value of dollar affects the price of local pap (Ogi)?! I was in shock when I asked to purchase a wrap or 2 from my local vendor who then said 1 wrap now goes for N50 from N20. And to make matters worse, the fermented water that was given away for free before now is only given when you buy a N100 worth of pap… Like seriously?! This is one area that the government really needs to tackle (But we know they won’t) as it affects transportation, production, housing, education, feeding and so much more.

4. Always expect to be Ripped Off by Your Mobile Network Carrier (Always): Have you ever woken up one beautiful morning after saying your prayers and then you pick up your mobile phone to check your “flashing” Balance, only to realize that it has been deducted for an offer you never even knew existed? Yeah, that offer to receive latest entertainment Gossips, Football Updates, Know the Bible verses, Polish your English… the list is endless. And the worst part is that, when you now call the customer service center they keep you waiting for so long (so you will be so frustrated that you just drop the call and forget it happened… Lai lai, not Me) and when they eventually put you through to speak to one of them, then this happens… The network decides to Varnish from your phone and then the call cuts you off.

5. Your Mobile data is always lesser than what you subscribed for (No Matter the Mobile Network): All these networks, you all think Nigerians don’t know that they are not getting their money’s worth each time they subscribe to a mobile data subscription? We know but we don’t have an option because broadband services and their prices can chase man back to his village so we settle for your “Day Light Robbery” data services.

6. Corruption exist still but only the Poor Man with no Connection gets Punished: Yes, the President and his team of “Broda-Corruption” fighters are always announcing how many millions and billions of dollars recovered but never have we heard of them putting or sentencing any of these political rogues to prison or to death? But see the case of a 23 years old boy who stole an LG phone of N87000 and was sentenced to death by hanging and no one is doing anything about that. The case of fighting corruption in Nigeria is mostly playing lip service to the masses and not taking the bull by the horns.

7. Nigerians are Broke But there are always queues at every ATMs in Nigeria: This one is quite hilarious because I have found myself in this situation where I called a friend up to “roger me” because I had not eaten a decent meal all day but he said he was broke. And as my guy now, I believed he was so I stood up to go dust the remaining N500 in my gtb account. As I was walking about looking for an ATM that paid N500 denomination, I sighted my guy lined up on a queue at one of the ATM stands and I thought to myself “No be this guy wey say him no get money be dis. If he no get, so wetin e dey withdraw? His Sins!

8. Government worker’s Salaries (Most Private workers too) are always paid 1st week of the new month: This is a known fact and it only changed briefly when Buhari surprised Federal Government Workers last year when he paid salaries between the 22nd and 25th days of the month and that didn’t last for long before Nigeria plunged into recession. The same practice has also been imbibed by some private companies too and I wonder why Solidarity Chants aren’t being used in areas that it is needed?!

9. GSM is over 15years in Nigeria and still, the digging of roads continues: This is an eyesore practice that even the government (especially the Local Government) of the day encourages and it isn’t helping the durability and longevity of our roads. A newly paved road that leads to my area (although my house is located further inward but…) where jerry-can wheeling water carriers now enjoy using has been defaced by these monstrous multinationals all in the name of laying GSM network pipes (And to think it’s the same abokis they will use to do the digging… what an irony).

10. Every Political administration will never cease to have Unfulfilled points Agenda: As each administration come into power, they come will their own political 3 to 2022 point agenda. My question is “Why can’t they just have one point agenda “ELECTRICITY or POWER GENERATION” and tackle that for the next 4 years and see it through. With such an achievement, let’s now see if they run for office to go another 4 more years whether their party won't record a landslide victory in all regions of Nigeria (I swear, I can bet anything cos me sef go campaign for them).

Here is a case of a 20 years old business admin final year student of Imo state university (IMSU) by the name MIRACLE CHIJINDU DIKE who is known to most of his friends and fans on https://m.facebook.com/dike.miracle as I AM FABULOUS/Khalifa Khalifa aka SwagBoy.



He poses online as an MMM United sign up agent with his whatsapp number as +234 903 609 8619, he used to be a blogger with his blog address as [url]livenewsd..com[/url] but has since remained inactive since 2015 probably because it wasn't earning him the type of money he intended it would before venturing into scamming unsuspecting victims of MLM/Matrix networking scheme online.

It is amazing how one person who was introduced to assist based on trust comes into the system and kicks out the real owner after scamming people (of whom I am one of them) they were meant to teach on how to earn through MMM United mlm scheme. I was taken for a total sum of N27,280.00 excluding my interbank charge of N100 of my hard earned money after I had gotten the orientation after joining the Whatsapp group where it was originally managed by the founding Admin by the name Adeshina Olusegun who in good faith and trust added and made MIRACLE CHIJINDU DIKE an admin also seeing that they both share inclined goals not knowing that he had other plans.

How sprung I was with the loads of courtesy coming from this said young man who at every end of his sentence while we chitchat always used the 'Sir' word. I felt it was a bit too much and had to loosen my guard and was more informal so we could get along better but unknown to me he was scheming with every stroke of his touchpad or probably the plan to scam me came when we had concluded on the amount of bitcoin I wanted to fund which totalled in naira N27,280.00. I have attached below screenshot samples of the transaction I carried out with him and also our chat.


Immediately he got the alert after a while after we had already reached an agreement with me to fund my bitcoin wallet with 60$ at the rate of N540 per Dollar, he just dropped his profile picture, went to the group page deleted me from the group and then deleted the original Admin/founder of the group with several unsuspecting people still signed into the group. Immediately I noticed that he had done dis, I decided to talk to him as 'Guy to Guy' with several pleads from me saying I don't want any trouble from anyone as I was too weak to start one because I was still.moruning the loss of my Mom who passed away 2 weeks before today. I pleaded with him with eveeything he held dear to his heart on his whatsapp handle but he never even responded back so I decided to call him on a different line. But immediately he knew it was me, he stopped picking my calls and I guess he blacklisted my number. Unknown to me while all this was happening, the group owner too was also trying to reach him on his phone number to ask why he was deleted from his group page by MIRACLE DIKE but he wasn't picking the group founder's call neither. I then resulted to sending him sms messages directly to his mobile number thinking at least he can't say that won't get into his phone but he never even flinched or attempted a reply that was when I knew this one no be play play again.


If you would like to know the steps I took after I knew the criminal I was dealing with comment below so I can take this discussion to the literature section and post them in series as this post is getting to length for readers satisfaction. 4) what's your net worth? How much do you have in your account? How much do they pay you! Trust me they have other ways to check. U lived thru it and the only person dat can help u is U and also a really true friend dat won't use ur emotional predicament to his\her advantage. 3. Ur experience will only make u stronger cos from ur words I can tell ur already a strong lady but u presently need someone who can ease u of d burden of ur past. I saw your post on Binary option strategy and how many in d room kept bashing u. I must say I took the time to go to your profile and send you an offline mail and also went as far as reading through almost all your post on merrybet, Binary, your discussion on roullete and I would like to be mentored by you in d line of online wealth creation.

D truth is dat no one in here knows d degree of wot ur going thru n truthfully can adequately advice u on wot to do but the truth about the whole situation u find urself cant be solved wiv vengeance as ur motivation. These are things u av to consider

Do u still love him?
Do u still enjoy being wiv him?
And finally, do u see him only as ur husband and not ur friend?

If ur able to answer these 3 questions positively, then d reaction to d first question shouldnt b u trying to get back at him for putting u thru all uv been thru.
If u enjoy being wiv him wivout the thought of he being wiv another, then dat means he still lights ur and communucation between u 2 still exist so dats a plus..
And finally, ur husband shouldnt just be ur husband but ur partner/friend/gist buddy/advicer and all that his friends are to him, u shld be filling that space wivout being selfish in playin dat role.

Ur more consumed by his actions and thinking wot counter-action to take to spite him but the truth really is if u saw him as ur friend, then all u need do is tell him d truth about his actions wivout bein prejudicious and take actions dat shows him dat uv lost trust for him like friends do.

May GOD guide u as u decide on what next step to take but in d end vegeance solves nothing. It poisons u and poisons who ur vengeful at.

I’m always left thinking to myself most times due to my present state of unemployment despite the fact that I have a technical profession that gets me busy and keeps me occupied but lately business has been slow and it’s all thanks to the situation of things in the country… but by GOD’s grace “Ma ri temi se loruko Jesu..” *Smiling

The title above has been debated upon over several decades into centuries sef but the truth is that Pleasure doesn't really guaranty satisfaction. Why?

You might derive pleasure from cooking and not be satisfied with what you have cooked.
You might also derive pleasure from gisting and hanging out with friends but not satisfied with wasting your time with something that isn’t financially, spiritually, socially or physically rewarding.
In the case of relationship, you might be pleasured by having a boyfriend/girlfriend whom u love so much because he/she treats you right, makes you feel special and all sorts but not satisfied by his/her financially standpoint, educational achievements, religious background, some behavioral lapses (He/she picks his/her nose in public without caution, never takes to advice that will benefit your relationship, never keeping or fulfilling promises made etc) and many more.


Many may ask why this is the case but the truth is that, the BODY wants one thing while the MIND desires something Different totally. It is until you arrive at a state of equilibrium where the MIND and the BODY desire and agree on a particular thing, idea or person, only then will you experience pleasurable satisfaction or satisfactory pleasure.

Pleasurable Satisfaction or Satisfactory Pleasure

The type of feeling you get when you get a promotion at a job and profession you love so much and to you services rendered is more like an extension of yourself… it comes effortlessly.
The type of feeling you get when you’re in bed with that special person in your life and after all said and done, he or she brings you breakfast in bed and engage you in a lengthy chitchat encased with much laughter and no drama.
The type of feeling you get when you’re locked in a sweet embrace with your son or daughter after a busy day at work not minding the pleasurable stress experienced by point No1 and you don’t have a single worry but the fact that even if you do have any point No2 will always put your worries to sleep. That is what it means to have pleasurable Satisfaction.

But in a situation where what gives you pleasure doesn't equally give you satisfaction then there is a tilt in the balance of the MIND and the BODY which tends to make one become more
Selfish, Obsessed, lacking conscience, judgemental, self righteousness and many more. For example:

You have a girlfriend/boyfriend who you know you love and care about (Pleasure) but due to some attitudinal lapses (He/She never calls, never appreciative, so self centered, stingy, doesn't clean up after His/herself, talks back at you, physically abusive etc.) then as faith would have it, you meet someone who does opposite of everything your girlfriend/boyfriend does but you don’t feel love in any way for him/her but you are Satisfied with his/her presence in your life.
As long as both Pleasure and Satisfaction aren't derivable from a single source where one’s emotions are channelled to then there is a problem and the circle will forever continue.
