The nysc senate list is out and registration is over, Congrats to those who saw their names and registered successfully. My name wasn't included, so Plz I would like to know when is the next Mobilization.... I am hearing rumors of June and November..... Which one is correct?

My brother... I thought I am the only person left to wait for Batch B. We will get to know if this Batch A doesn't come in streams. If it does, that means it will be November again and if it doesn't then, the rumour is true.

You graduated before 30years of age. So, you still stand a great chance of being mobilised.

I was not mobilised as well and I felt really bad about it. I will be 25 by April 10th. I see no need of serving again but, I have no choice. I pray November favours me.

You can check it in NYSC portal at portal.nysc.org.ng click on check senate list or it's equivalent. you'll be required to insert your school, matric number, date of birth. As for the medical fitness it's required during registration in camp. All the best bro, hope I've answered your question.

Information reaching me is that most schools have started sending their approved senate list to NYSC. and uploading is going on right now, although you can't check it online yet, till 19th of this month. Try and check your school if your name is on your school pre mobilization list.

This is confusing my guy... Please, which site are we to check on 19th of March? Do you have idea when the medical fitness is required?

He didn't lie. I wonder what value the NYSC discharge certificate adds to one's career. Employees should centre and judge their staffs on the basis of their degree irrespective of NYSC certificate or not.

The number of first class graduates are increasing because the level of sorting in universities is also increasing. I had this rich neighbour back in school who made a first class in petroleum engineering despite the fact that he only attended lectures like once in two weeks. He told me that there was no point of attending lectures when his money can do that for him.

I disagree. Sorting can get you a 2.1, but not a first-class. For someone to have a first-class, he/she must have given his best to earn it even when the money is involve. I am First-class holder, so I know the pains and what it takes to build up to 4.5 benchmark.
Secondly, it boils down to the institution. My department alone, will scrutinize your background academically and security wise to avoid dent.
