hesilo: I am a computer science student and worked with a University after i graduated for over 7years and while i was with them i enrolled for masters because for you to grow career wise in the education sector, you must have a Masters, Phd and then become a Professor. I was done with course work and at the point of research/project writing, i left the academic environment as i currently got a job in an oil and gas sector. The thing is i'm confused on whether to go and complete the masters or go ahead with professional certifications as that is what is in high demand for growth in the sector where i currently work. I asked my manager, he told me i have no use for masters instead i should go get more professional certifications. Please i need advice.
NB: I started the masters since 2015/206 and it have incurred a lot of cost(school fees et al) till date even though i paid my fees for the first time and not payed anything again. I am strongly thinking of abandoning it and use the money i would use to pay off my debt and get professional certification.
Please your Opinion is highly welcome, good or bad. My humble advice, You are half way gone with MSc. And it's best you complete it before you enroll for professional certificate. |

Graciafr21: Hello, I am from Indonesia. I have relationship with my boyfriend from Ifitedunu Anambra, for almost 4 years and everything is going so well, I bring him into my family and they have accept him also all his family know me even his mom we used to talk on phone call or VC, we always talk about our plan to get married this year, but suddenly I heard that he is getting married with another girl that come from the same village with him and they answer the same surename. I was asking him for the explanation and he say that is because of the culture of his village, if he not marry from his village people then he will died that there is some culture that choose him to marry that girl, he said he will come back to Indonesia and marry me too, that he has finish what the culture make him to do. my question is, is there any culture like that ? because I don't understand about the culture of igbo people. should I wait for him ? I love him with all my heart, 4 years live together is not easy to accept this.
Best regards I hate it when people play with other person's emotions and smartness! I am a full fleshed Igbo man. I will hit my chest and tell, there is no culture like that. Such doesn't exist even if it does, it's exception with people from Royal family. Your suppose boyfriend is playing with your intelligence and possibly, using you to secure his permanent residence in Indonesia. That is the simple truth. I wish you recovery from this heartbreak. Just move on and be open to love who loves you truly. Even if he marries you, you are never recognised in Nigeria as his wife since he just got married. |

1. Masturbation! Don't call me a sinner or look at me with disgust because you sin differently. I wish I can put an end to all sexually immorality. 2. Procastination! I always have excuses to delay things that, I set out to do. And I tend to be at my best during the last minute of the task. I really wanna put an end to it. 3. Always available! I want to stop being too available for people. I rarely tell them NO. I help at my own detriment... And I end up loosing my comfort and happiness to help ungrateful negros. |
