Bravo! But I wish I could also show the Sandwich PQ pack which says it's 'tort' at least for vindication. That's why I also don't accept some of the answers given by PQs. The link you shared is more convincing and very enlightening. I will be posting its GP s then you guys debate to fix the answers for authenticity. Know and note this plz:-
The P-utme comprises of a total number of 40 questions:
English 20 questions
Maths 10 questions and General paper 10 questions.
Thus, the %mathematical value is; 40/40 * 100 = 100%
e.g 27/40 * 100 = 67.5% i.e 2.5% for each mark gotten.
Felt like sharing this for you to start your predictions and to enlighten those who think it's an 80% overall. Thanks!

doubleDx: 9ice work @2nioshine, Ortarico & biolabee! I hail ona!

Thanks Chief; respek!

Solution

x^4 - 3x^2 + 1 = 0

Let’s simply put
s = x^2

so that the equation can be rewritten as follows =>>>

s^2 - 3s + 1 = 0
Applying quadratic formula to the above equation yields=>

a = 1, b = -3 and C = 1
s = {-b ±√(b^2 - 4ac)}/2a
s = { -(-3)±√((-3)^2 - 4(1)(1))}/2(1)
s = {3 ±√(9 - 4)}/2
s = 1/2{3 ±√(9 - 4)}
s = 1/2{3 ±√5}

:. s = 1/2{3 + √5) or 1/2({3 - √5)
s = 1/2 ( 3 + 2.236) or 1/2 ( 3 - 2.236)
s = 2.618 or 0.618 approx.

Since s = x^2
x = ±√s

Hence,
x = ±√2.618 or ±√0.618
x = ±1.618 or ±0.786
:. The values of x are = 1.618, -1.618, 0.786, -0.786 approx.
I said it, exponential eqn! It rhymes!! Thanks for the eulogy @general doubleDx and Richiez as well as all, one love!!!

First of all, we can have a five number digit greater than 3,000 i.e 5!

:. number greater than 3,000 can either be taken from 3, 4 or 5 which is 3 ways > 3000, and the remaining 3 digits of the 4 digit numbers. . .

DONMAYOR19: if u realy wanmt 2 knw abt permutation and combination, try and practice set theory and probability first, not dat u can knw permution and combination without set thoery and probability, but knwin those topic first will increase ur understanding in permution and combination. so d solution to ur questions now...note dat permutation simply means arrangement of number/things or if u see anytin dat is synonymous to arrangement in the question, while combination means selection, chosen, picking of number/things or any word that is synonymous to selection, chosen, picking.
so the number 1 question solution is (4C3 and 5C3 and 6C3), which will give (4!/1! 3! and 5!/2! 3! and 6!/3! 3!)
=(4x3!/1x3! and 5x4x3!/2x1x3! and 6x5x4x3!/3x2x1x3!)
after all division it wil remain (4 and 10 and 20)......note that 'and' means multiplication in probability(that's y is necessary to know probability also.
therefore (4 and 10 and 20) becomes (4x10x20) which gives 800ways......

QUESTION 2 SOLUTION.
There is no condition in the question, that makes it very easy, the question simply means that will should form a committee of 3 men and 4 women(7-people) from a group of 7-men and 9-women.......easy i guesshuhhuh
lets kick off..
.......7C3....for men and 9C4.....for women
= 7C3 and 9C4
= (7!/4! 3!) and (9!/5! 4!)
= (7x6x5x4!/3x2x1x4!) and 9x8x7x6x5!/4x3x2x1x5!)....after d normal division, it gives
= (35 and 126)..........remember that 'and' means multiplication
= 35 x 126 =4410 ways...........

AM HERE TO HELP FOR MATHS AND ENGLISH, MY ONLY OBSTACLE WILL BE TIME FACTOR TO POST THE ANSWERS
Good one bro, but I think question one answer hasn't been arrived. Cause 800 is the number of ways of selecting 3 colours each from the bulbs.
