Fanccy: 2nioshine, thanks for starting off this equation. I have been trying it out but still hanging on the way. Am waiting for you to complete it.I'm so sorry bruv, the best of my knowledge on matrices is scalars's. Like I said in one of my posts that I'm an aspirant and green on some further topics. I really hate it when summoned on things like this but can't be of help. Lookin' forward to attaining a Guru's rank anyway. Thanks to one of my Ogas at the top for helpin' you at last! |

@estilo dis's d solution to 2B, maybe i'll see to the rest later cause of d inconvenience in typing, i'm on mobile. . . . . 2B) Solution first of all find d Mean (M) and d standard deviation (SD) of set A&B. . . M of A ~x= 2+3+1+4+5+6+7+25+9+8 all over 10 ~x= 70/10 =>> 7 SD of A _/Ef(x-~x)^2/Ef= _/[(2-7)^2 + (3-7)^2 + (1-7)^2 + (4-7)^2 + (5-7)^2 + (6-7)^2 + (7-7)^2 + (25-7)^2 + (9-7)^2 + (8-7)^2] / 10 = _/25 + 16 + 36 + 9 + 4 +1 + 0 + 324 + 4 + 1 / 10 = _/420/10 = _/42 = 6.48 pls, follow the steps above to find d M&SD of B which is 41 and 5.46 respectively, u can question if confused. . . . Finally, look for the Coefficient of Variation (CV) of A&B respectively. . . . . CV of A= 6.48/7 =>> 0.9259 CV of B= 5.46/41 =>> 0.1329 :. From the CVs of A&B, we can deduce that A is more widely dispersed than the data B. . . . . . Answer |

If the credit loaded attached to each of the courses are 4,5,4,3 and 1 respectively. Determine the student's average grade.^^ ma'am, though your questions are much, i'd try helping. . . . Q3) solution: first of all, multiply each of the courses mark by its credit load: Maths= 62*4= 248 Physics= 49*5= 245 Engineering= 72*4= 288 Eng lan= 35*3= 105 Sos std= 21*1= 21 Add all the credit load ==> 4+5+4+3+1= 17 Average grade: 248+245+288+105+21 all over 17 => 907/17= 53.35% ~53.4% |

Hmmm. . . .many of you guyz might be wondering why this dude has chosen to correct spelling mistakes on this thread and made no comments on the topic. You're right! Why I choose to be indifferent is because of some schadenfreudes that make jest of us. They say; 'Look at these Olodos protesting against the results JAMB meritoriously awarded them. . . .they can't even speak nor write well in good english than to make blunders and often mis-spell, I laugh in Use of English type I' and many more..... Therefore, It's high time we checked or modified our mistakes to put an end to it. JAMB frustrates! How could you same score my ability in three subjects: 53, 53, 53 and 50? I'm not saying it's impossible either but I doubt it in respect to my competency cause i'm yet to recover from the shock!! On coming back from my exam centre on the 27th, I pretended to be despondent in order to surprise my cousins who were sceptical about me making a 270+ in the end. Now everything has just coincide. Yes, i'm still shocked but what can I do than accept my fate and also thank God my case differs from others. It's much more hilariously funny of the apprentice learning tailoring opposite my house to have four twelves in his fours. Can you see how the board has automatically added a year to the period of his apprenticeship! Another dude fainted on seeing his 005 aggregate. A lot of saga has been recorded, even the guy that wrote this still feels blue. |

Harjibode: tot mercenary is been use in the millitary.It's not only used for hired soldiers also for a person hired to carry out a task on behalf of another. It can also be impersonation as the board (JAMB) uses both alternately for warning against forms of irregularity. |
chukxie: There are 48 sounds on any standard IPA chart, my friend. I'm not going to argue with you if you don't believe me. You can either ask your teacher or just google it.I guess the Triphthongs were included |
Klinee: maybe your sister didnt follow the steps-by type the her exact exam number.jamb is most reliable body that conduct exam here in nigeria.scraping of jamb will bring all sort of malpractice in our educational system.there is nothing like bribing,expo,machinary,impersonating and copying from another in jamb exam.if u do any of this autumatically u will fail,becos the system by which the exam was set will not favour u.mercenary |
@mathefaro why not solve the number two please, wanna see the correction. . . .thanks mathefaro: Wrong, check ur substitution, u made a slight error. d ans is 105You are right, though it's confusing too. . . . a= 3/2, r= 3 and d= -9/2 substituting into the sum of the 5th term (a+4d+ar4) gives: 3/2 + 4(-9/2) + 3/2(3)^4 : 3/2 + 4 * -9/2 + 3/2 * 81 : 3/2 - 18/1 + 243/2 : 3/2 + 243/2 - 18/1 : 3 + 243 - 36 all over the LCM 2= 210/2 = 105 the most correct answer |
doubleDx: ^ok, thanks for making the correction |
mathefaro: Good work. Welldone, but you made a slight mistake in your final answer. please check and make necessary corrections |
3. a3+b3= (a+b)^3 - 3ab(a+b) sum of powers of 3 :let a= x+3 and b= x+4 substitutn gives: (x+3)^3 + (x+4)^3= (2x+7)^3 - 3(x+3)(x+4)(2x+7) ==> (2x+7)^3 - 3(x+3)(x+4)(2x+7) ==> (2x+7)^3 ==> 3(x+3)(x+4)(2x+7)=0 dividng both sides by 3 and solving the above gives: x= -3, -4 or -7/2 Courtesy; Oga At The Top, Sir Onioshine |
