chytai: I think your best bet is to first confirm if such certificate is assessed by Australian standard and on which level is it placed, before making the huge payment of $1000. You can also contact @ Lawland to assist you to check that. Had similar issue with Trade Test Certificate recently before it was discovered that the certificate is not assessible by Australian standard. |

Alphadoor: Thats actually one thing we are trying to find way around as i think the Trade Test Certificate from Government Technical College is highly relevant here but if TRA can give positive assessment with only such qualification is another thing one really needs to consider bfore paying the Assessment fee of $1000....just like that ... |

Hello gurus in the house, what could make a VO to make this kind of comment on a fresh application? Note, applicant is female: the GCMS file showed very different, irregular and inappropriate remarks about the application making one to wanna believe the particular VO made some huge and costly mistakes in the assessment of the said application: PREVIOUS REFUSAL NOTED.PREVIOUS OFFICER HAD CONCERNS ABOUT FINANCE.PA HAS NOT SUBMITTED ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SPEAKING TO THIS CONCERN THAT WOULD SATISFY ME TO APPROVE THIS APPLICATION.I NOTE HE HAS BEEN OFFERED A MODEST SCHOLARSHIP,PAID OVER MULTIPLE SEMESTERS,BUT PERSONAL AND FAMILY ACCOUNTS ARE WEAK. I AM NOT SATISFIED THAT APPLICANT WILL HAVE SUFFICIENT AVAILABLE FUNDS FOR TUITION AND UPKEEP DURING FIRST YEAR OF STUDIES IN CANADA.FURTHERMORE, STUDY PLAN NOT CONSISTENT WITH PAST STUDIES AND APPLICANT APPEARS TO HAVE LIMITED ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL TIES TO HOME COUNTRY AS WELL AS LIMITED TRAVELS WHICH COULD DEMONSTRATE A HISTORY OF HAVING TRAVELED AND RETURNED.BASED ON EVIDENCE......REFUSED.Urgent responses needed pls. CC: Thesoj,Yemdogg and other gurus in the house please. thanks |

Hey house, got an information as regards the colossal refusal rates of Nigerian students TRVs from an Immigration lawyer in Canada that it is due to the fact that most Nigerian students who had their TRVs approved do not go for studies but rather opt for asylum and forfeit their huge tuition fee deposit and disappear. Calls for serious concern if its true though. May God help this country 5 Likes 1 Share |

Hello guys...wonderful job u re doing out here. Pls i need some candid response to these questions: 1. Is it possible to have a school in Canada assist a student to transfer ones tuition to another school? prolly after denial and instead of remitting same back to Nigeria ,has anyone tried that before? 2. Whats the chance ( TRV issuance) of a mature student of age 34, HND holder going for an undergraduate program as a transfer student starting from 3rd year of the undergraduate program ? Hoping the gurus in the house will help respond to this pls. |
