Rivers state is under a spell. Imagine people legalising cultism in their communities. Almost every community has an occultic group. One must belong to one to survive or die later in most communities in the state. What a shame

Do you know how many people that died in your state for then past one month? The NCDC should stop scaring people and just do their job. If 10 persons died in my local government writhin last month, multiply that by 20 LG and you will get unimaginable figure. That you haven't died doesn't mean that others aren't dying. Covid 19 is not the only disease that can kill people.

RomanceRe: My Parents Won't Allow Me Marry Outside My Tribe by ostarlink: 7:34pm On May 10, 2020
Without any hatred for any tribe, if your family isn't compatible especially linguistically with the one you want to marry, your mother has a point there. Nothing creates divide in a family like language barrier especially between your wife and in law and your family members such as your mother and father. If such gap in communication is fueled by any other misbehaviour from your wife, it will be hard for both families to stand United again. Personally I love other tribes but for marriage I try as much as I can to marry someone that can easily merge with my family. Marriage is expansion of your family not really an individual affair in my place.Since my brother married someone from Nasarawa, his family and ours have divided linguistically and in so many aspects. THE WORDS OF OUR FATHERS ARE MOST TIMES THE WORDS OF WISDOM.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Have You Ever Had A Near Death Experience? by ostarlink: 4:01pm On May 09, 2020
It all happened sometimes 1998. Then i was in primary school. I went with a friend to go and pluck cashew nut. I climbed to the highest part of it about 30 to 40 m away from the ground. I remembered stretching my hand to pluck a particular one at the zenith of a branch. I didn't know that some insects had eaten the branch only leaving a small portion of it just enough to make someone of my size to break. It only took a couple of seconds and i knew I might have embarked on a journey of no return. I, accompanied by the branch of the cashew nut, landed on the ground and lost consciousness of the world immediately. Everywhere became dark and for seconds I couldn't breathe. It took sometimes before I breathed forcefully and came back to life. It was then I discovered that the young boy I came to pluck cashew nuts with had run out of fear leaving me lying helplessly on the ground. The owner of the cashew tree had come to reprimand me but sighting that there was danger remained quiet. He might have concluded that "kama ukwa ga-adagbu onye ori ukwa ya buru ukwa ma ya abukwala na ukwa dagburu ya". I simply got up and abandoned everything and went home. Thank God I am still a life today cos I was afraid that I made up my mind that I won't tell anyone what happened.

Lol.

Very unfortunate.

This is the more reason we need to save for the rainy days.

However, enemies of the state have been keeping night vigil praying and fasting for a fall in national income so that Buhari and his family will starve to death, I think their prayers are gradually being answered. In their foolish view, a boom on the economy has little consequences on their lives because Buhari refuse to be sharing money house to house. Clowns.

Rather, they have been very prayerful for American economy to rise since that is the country whose economy has direct impact on them.

Let's wait and see how Buhari and his family will eventually die of hunger. I have never seen a collection of human beings with such degree of foolishness.
I weep on behalf of the parent that gave birth to you. smiley smiley

Ibo vs ibo...if na for north dem for don allow dem pass...nwannem for mouth,no love...."fugitives".
Igbos and Yorubas are always good in enforcement of rules. The reason why we are having so many problems in the north is because many of their nonchalant attitude to serious issues. Strictness and obedience to rules are primary fruits of education. Any region where anything goes is often a region where people are uneducated or poorly educated. The level of disobedience in the north is alarming. That z why the north remain the number one problem of the country. I am not saying they aren't good, but they take many things for granted in the name of being nice.
