For the presidential poll 2 weeks ago
APC : 140
LP : 240

LP won here in a landslide few weeks ago. This polling booth is quite ethnically diverse. I gauge the results here to know how the rest of the state will turn up. Sanwo will win this election in a landslide. Chinedu should not even mention rigging.

The nearest year anyone from the SE can win the presidential election is 2039.
So, NC won't rule Nigeria? Here is what I see.

2023 -2031 - The President-elec, Bola Ahmed Tinubu
2031- 2039 - North-East
2039 - 2047 - North-Central (a detribalized Igbo man will be VP)
2047 - 2055 - The tribalized igbo VP will be made president

In reality, there is no chance for the SE until 2047 - almost 24 years from now. Obi will be 90 years old by then grin grin grin grin grin

For the first time in history, we witnessed an election that produced no loser. All contestants won the election, if the claims by the LP/Obi and PDP/ Atiku are anything to go by. They have both vowed to approach the court to prove their claims. The coming days and weeks will be interesting as judges listen to all the winners in the election. May be eventually, the court will have to instruct INEC to print more certificates of return so all the winners can get a copy each grin grin grin grin

PoliticsObi Won All Pre-election Polls But Lost The Real Election by OsunOriginal(op): 8:54am On Mar 01, 2023
The presidential election has come and gone. However, it left an unforgettable lesson, which hopefully would shape our expectations in the future elections. The presidential electioneering started with different opinion polls by local and foreign organizations. There was ANAP, NOI, BANTU, OBI and Son's, etc, all telling us Obi would win. Some of us questioned the correctness of these polls and the people behind them. We questioned the method used, the spread, etc. We told them most voters are not on social media and many can't even be reached by phone. They didnt listen and remained stuck to their deceits called polls. Some even started celebrating their impending victory after each poll and casting aspersion on other candidates.

Today, the real result has emerged. Their projected candidate didn't even come second.

Obi won all pre-election polls but performed woefully in the real election, scoring less than 5% of the votes in many states across the country.

PoliticsRe: 13.1 Million People Voted Against APC And Tinubu by OsunOriginal: 7:52am On Mar 01, 2023
Kobonaire4:
Here is a thought. 13.1 million people did not vote for APC, out of the 21 m who did vote.

If those 13.1 million people had voted for one party, APC would have been voted out. But because they voted for 3 different parties, the votes got divided, and APC won the election.

The truth is, APC lost this election. Most Nigerians did not vote for them, nor do they like them. But they won because Atiku and Peter Obi and Kwankwaso and Wike could not at the very least compromise with each other.

That is the sad cold truth. A disunited opposition loses the election.

Like I said, APC did not win this election, the opposition lost it.
Oponu... Why didn't the 13.1m voters come together and vote for a single candidate? Can you also tell us the number of people who voted against Obi and the number of Nigerians who voted against Atiku?
