Tinubu is a political leader aspiring to be President of Nigeria. To argue he is pro North you must show , from his leadership belief and political leaning, how he is pro North.

While virtually all Northern leaders, including Buhari, believe in spending government money derived from oil, Tinubu is a big fan of an economy diversified aggressively away from one source of income alone.

Tinubu believes in decentralization of power most Northerners will never contemplate that let alone support it. The North loves bureaucracy and bloated governance whereas Tinubu favors efficient, compact and 'streamlined' models of political and administrative leadership.

The reason an average igbo is either a trader or a criminal dealing in drugs, fraud, etc. Always impatient for results - they want results without commensurate efforts. I also think they lack the capacity to properly plan, clearly see the end goal, and remain steadfast. This makes them look politically immature and therefore unfit to lead the nation. The igbos need to enroll for training on national politics in a complex country like Nigeria. Winning an election and managing a country like ours requires some level of sophistry which no politician from the igbos race has at the moment.

This election is a desperate 'cold war' between North and South. Stakes are very high because 'born to rule' Northerners who always demand power, so as to be able to control every Nigerian money - making parastatal and process, are at their most desperate , in the history of Nigeria, to ensure power remains in the North.

This is because they are petrified Buhari has done so much damage that any powerful Southerner, like Tinubu, will be demanded by the entire Nigeria to 'change it' for them and 'equalize'. There is real anger and bad blood in the heart of Southern Leaders over the perception Buhari has deliberately put the South in jeopardy to favour the North.

This is even why Atiku and Tambuwal combined desperately and jettisoned the need for fairness by finally destroying the North to South equitable power shift. Such is the desperation of some Northern leaders to hold on to power that they are willing to go into uncharted troubled water that may destroy the unity of Nigeria finally and completely.

Nigeria is now in a silent feudal war between North and South.

Even Kwankwaso has confessed that the 'mood' of the North is to retain power. What he failed to add is that it is the mood of Northern leaders and elite, whose existence depends on political power and patronage, he is referring to.

All in all, this is not Obi's level. It is not Amaechi's level or even Osinbajo's level. Those guys are not battle-ready leaders, like proven war generals, with a dedicated troop of leaders behind them who are ready to go to war with them.

Tinubu is the only Southerner who can battle the North so that Nigeria is reshaped in an image that benefits all to include even the Northerners ready to vote their historical and callous oppressors in the form of Kwankwaso and Atiku.

The only good thing about Obi is that he will damage PDP's traditional strength in the SS and SE to the benefit of Tinubu and APC. Anyone thinking Obi has a chance does not understand the real desperate battle going on that cannot be spoken about openly by any of the candidates even though Kwankwaso has inadvertently clued on sharp Nigerians with his Northern "mood" talk.

Most of the BAT's supporters and OPs that I know always show very high standards of intellectual capacity and understanding of politics in Nigeria - like in this case. An average Obi supporter, on the other hand, is intellectually incapacitated and lacks the basic knowledge of the Nigerian politics. Even Obi himself is so daft that he thinks almost like his followers. His penchant for cheap popularity amongst his jobless tribesmen and women and religious bigots validates this assertion. Definitely, Obi is a baby politician in the south and doesn't have what it takes to go into a national election where northerners like Atiku, etc are vying.

The crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, took another turn on Tuesday as the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, met with some PDP Governors, including Nyesom Wike of Rivers State in London.

I listened to Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party on Sunrise Daily, a Channels television breakfast program. I must state here that I have my reservations about his grasp of Nigeria's problems, and his ability to proffer solutions.
