PoliticsLagos Govt May Close Ladipo, Oyingbo Markets by OsunOriginal(op): 7:56pm On Sep 15, 2022
The Lagos State Government on Thursday threatened to shut down both Ladipo and Oyingbo markets indefinitely next Thursday over traders’ indiscriminate waste disposal.

The government explained that the move became imperative following the markets’ refusal to pay for waste services, and poor waste management at the markets.

The Lagos State Waste Management Agency’s Managing Director, Ibrahim Odumboni, who made this known said traders in both markets engaged in unwholesome environmental practices.

The unwholesome environmental practices, he said, continued in the markets despite repeated warnings.

“Our attention has been drawn to the deplorable state of the environment around Ladipo Market, Mushin and Oyingbo Market, resulting from reckless waste dumping by traders.

Ain't argue....but since Osun is in your moniker, I already know who you support......so let me address your case.

Your Master also has the Pandora tag. But because he has more corruption allegations against him.....the little Pandora issue isn't tagged to him.

Your Master has issues with his name. Please post any picture of Tinubu's siblings and I will post and narrate histories of Obi's siblings.

Your master has issues with his education.

Your master has issues with Age.

Your Master has been linked to drug issues. A worst issue to encounter and definitely a slap to the face of we sane Nigerians that Escobar's twin is vying for president in our nation.

The chances of your master winning as of today is 40% (not up to half)
grin grin grin grin grin I didn't see Tinubu's name (the person I'm supporting) in the pandora list. Maybe you have a different list... share...

A man operating a secret account while ruling a state can't be trusted. EFCC needs to investigate all the inflows into the secret accounts.

cool

There's one mighty theory urchins must learn today.

"The theory of what you can do and what you cannot do".

That Obi noticed he cannot be a running mate to Atiku and took a proactive step against relegation means that Obi is indeed a true so of philosophy cool

Today, Wike is still fighting shadow(funny as it may sound).

Amaechi has been relegated

Kwakwanso is no longer bigger than Obi(as urchins claimed before).

Obi is still in the road to presidency and still has a great chance of winning.

Know your worth in life cool
But these issues are still there for him...

- Obi's name featured in Pandora's revelations. This was seen as additional baggage for a presidential candidate that already has an irremovable corruption tag on him.

- Obi's lack of cross-cultural and cross-regional appeals

The probability of him winning is close to 0.
PoliticsObi Knew Atiku Wasn't Going To Pick Him As The Running Mate by OsunOriginal(op): 8:53pm On Sep 14, 2022
We have reliably gathered that Obi knew Atiku wasn't going to pick him as his running. He decided to leave the party to avoid the humiliation Atiku's decision would have caused him. Atiku's decision was based on the following.

- Obi's name featured in Pandora's revelations. This was seen as additional baggage for a presidential candidate that already has an irremovable corruption tag on him.

- Obi's lack of cross-cultural and cross-regional appeals

Moving to LP is to prove Atiku wrong and give him a run for his money.

Let's wait and see where this will end for Obi as he fights the battles with his billions - don't forget he has millions of dollars in his secret accounts. He will unleash the power of the money on Atiku and other contestants.

Obi met unemployment in Anambra at 20%. He left it at 60%.
All indices show Obi was a failure and least performing governor since the beginning of the fourth republic.
- Ngige met IGR at N800m, he left it at N7.5b (within 4 years or less)
- Obi met IGR at N7.5m, left it at N8.13b (within 8 years)
- Willie met IGR at N8.13b, left it at N28b

Peter Obi left $150m in 3 banks – Alex Otti replies Anambra govtPublished on May 19, 2017By Wale Odunsi

Former chairman of Diamond Bank, Alex Otti, yesterday stated that former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi left $150 million in three banks.

His reaction may not be unconnected to claims by Anambra state government that Obi left an empty treasury.

Otti, however, insisted that Obi was a prudent leader.

He spoke while delivering a key note address. “Nigeria economic recession: Ways out of the woods”, at the 8th annual conference of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Study, at the Nigerian Institute for International Study, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Otti said Nigeria needed leaders who can inspire confidence in the people by doing what leadership required and that those in high positions should serve the people and not themselves.

Otti then cited Peter Obi’s example.

“As the chairman of Diamond Bank as at the time Obi was governor, I can confirm that he left $50 million each in Diamond Bank, Fidelity Bank and Access Bank.

“I can also confirm that he did not borrow money from any financial institution”, he said.

Earlier in his speech, chairman of the event, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, represented by former Minister of Health, Julius Adelusi Adeluyi, urged leaders to focus on the people and called on Nigerians to intensify prayers for God to have mercy on the nation.

In his remarks, Peter Obi thanked the organisers for choosing a topic, he described as critical to the nation’s prosperity.

Obi said Nigerian leaders must have conscience to understand that leadership is all about serving and not being served.

He said Nigeria had all it takes to become a great nation, if leaders reflect on the trajectory of how successful economies are made.

Wicked man... he left $150m in three banks and yet;
- he didn't want to pay minimum wage.
- health workers were on strike for 13 months.
- Anambra didnt have an airport under him
- roads and infrastructure were in terrible condition throughout the state

Obi and his supporters should be ashamed of themselves

This is in response to the Thread on front page titled "Is Labour Party Sharing Rice? (Pictures)."
The answer is No. Rather it was soap that's in those bags. And it wasn't Labour Party or Peter Obi that's distributing them, it's individual support groups putting their resources together to find these outreaches.

Abdullahi Umar Zarma is known for his work campaigning for Peter Obi and the labour Party in Kaduna state.
What's the difference? Bribe is bribe... Did he do that last year or the year before when he wasn't contesting?

I have observed with keen interest the recent waves of defections and cross carpeting from APC TO PDP and vice Versa, even in some states like Oyo and Osun states, Bigwig politicians are defecting to parties like Accord and ADC,

However, with the way Peter Obis Obidient movement is sweeping across the board, taking over mainstream social media space, nobody, not even a lightweight politician has dumped his party for Labor Party, even in the southeast where he came from. Could this mean the Obidients still have a lot of homework to do? Just want to know as a political observer

It is clear from all the responses from Zombidients that Obi stands for nothing other than himself. I expected them to list what he has done in the past - fighting for people and democracy. He never associated himself with any democratic struggle in Nigeria and has never fought on the side of the people.

The opportunist had the opportunity to lead his state, but he messed up - his government was lackluster. Nothing he can be remembered for in the state.

My final verdict, therefore, is Obi is not fit to be president of Nigeria.

In any struggle you say, yet he became the governor of his state I bet his governorship wasn't a struggle and it wasn't through the support of the people, sometimes I wonder what you guys think with.
What did he do for the people of Anambra when he was governor? We can continue to list what Tinubu did for Lagos when he was governor. He did all these because he believed in the people and he knew he was in government for the people.

Obi ruled Anambra for eight years without any remarkable physical development or improvement of the welfare of the people of Anambra. You can see the difference now - one was there for himself and the other was there for the people.

- one moved the state funds into his family business accounts in the name of investment - where is the money today? Gone
- the other invested N4B of the state in Econet and came out with N19B for the state

Was Obi an activist or a business man cum politician, during endsars, Obi did support the Nigerian youth, meanwhile during June 12 lol, Obi was a young man struggling to establish in the business world, Obi currently employs more people than Sowore which is the one a bit close to Obi in age.

Obi was also a governor which makes him part of the government, do you expect him to protedt against his government or listen to the protest, most protest during Obi's time was attended to, you seem to mistake political activism with being a politician, the people you mentioned were activist Obi on the other hand is a business man a politician you don't expect the ones solving the problem to join those pressurinsung for the problem to be solved
A man who has never associated with the people in any struggle is definitely not for the people. Hopefully, you won't mistakenly make Obi your president when Biafra is realized.
