floret23:Where in Ousn are you from? APC almost won Osun guber and those who voted for APC are still there in Osun. And many of those who voted for PDP would definitely vote for APC in the general election. PDP for example got 45 thousand votes from Ede because a son of the soil (Adeleke) was contesting. Naturally, Ede would have voted for the APC and this is what they would do in 2023. Many other towns would do the same. How an apu-filled head would think Osun would vote Peter Obi/LP is what I don't understand. How and where? He may not even appear in top five when the result is announced. |
Sebastine1994:Is Kalu still not in the senate? Who voted for him? Yorubas? Jokers. They are only jealous of strides and achievements of Tinubu. Nobody in Alaigbo commands the kind of political base and respect Tinubu enjoys across the country. |
sure they would jump at it and hoping they have another thing they can use to campaign against Tinubu.See what NDLEA just discovered at VGC in Lagos operated by no other persons than our brothers from SE. We need to be vigilant. We shouldn't allow these criminals from SE to destroy our beloved Lagos.
|
iwaeda:We need to be vigilant. We should not allow igbos to destroy our Lagos |
Nijablast:Anambra ke... they can't live in hell on earth and still go to hell in heaven. The governors have made their region a living hell. |
XerXers:Na him moni he dey spend na... And boys also got something from the dumbo for erecting the billboard. He should erect more so our brothers in Osun can get from the money Obi stashed away in secret accounts. Erecting 1000 billboards per local government won't help Obi - LP won't even come fourth this time around. He tested his popularity on the ground during the guber election and his candidate got less than 2000 votes out of close to a million votes cast. Obi's effect on Lasun was negative because even if I contest for Osun guber under any party without any presidential candidate's support and spending nothing, I would get more than 2000 votes. |
SmartPolician:The more reason we need Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria. This way, necessary attention would be given to Lagos including heavy investment in transportation infrastructure. Lagos can't be bringing huge revenues to the country only to be given the same attention as Anambra or any other small state in the country. |
wallarwallar:Isn't that what they do with Christianity in Nigeria? Have you ever asked yourself why the crime rate increases with the increasing number of churches in Nigeria? |
liasmiram2567:Write it down... Igbos won't be allowed to vote in Lagos and SW. If you are igbo and you want to vote against us (Lagos/SW), go to your primitive village to register and vote - be warned! |
damilola4162:Does anybody trust these yeye soldiers who are only after money/dollars? They are most likely the ones fueling insurgency so they can continue to collect money from the government for weapons they wont buy. |
Thanksful:Escapist response... We're currently in Anambra looking for Obi did when he was governor - nothing found yet... ![]() |
Thanksful:I prefer a visionary no matter the age... presidency is not a brick-laying job. How can a sensible youth support a man who can't show anything for his 8 years as Anambra governor? |
NaijaRoyalty:Which the Obi's LP won? |
Yes, Obi's handlers, supporters, and Obi himself should stop blackmailing and gaslighting the youths of this country. Nigerian youths are too sophisticated for the cheap blackmail that Obi is youthful and therefore should be supported by youths. The last I checked, Obi is more than 60 years old and has been part and parcel of the pillaging of the country. Nigerian youths (apart from the BB Naija generation and igbo youths) are; - looking for a visionary to lead the country - looking for candidates who have demonstrated consistency and boldness - not supporting and will not support candidates, regardless of their ages, who see nothing wrong in keeping pandora foreign secret accounts for money laundering - not supporting and will not support candidates who cannot tell us how they created wealth and developed their states when they served as governor Definitely, Obi does not qualify considering the above. |
Onigawara:Move on boy... There is no religious war here. It is settled and every sane person has moved on - only a fool will keep ranting about religion. |
Onigawara:The delusion I see here is thinking the election is between PDP and LP. How can a party contest against itself or you don't know PDP and LP are one? The break-up will only work in favor of APC. Hopefully, you won't have a heart attack when results start trickling in... |
Onigawara:How would that stop him from winning? |
NyamiriSlayer:This is the only serious presidential candidate. What other way can you come up with a manifesto that captures the desires and aspirations of people than to engage the people? |
Ttalk:This coming election will be the separator of the west from the east - note it down. They are going back to their villages and we will help them in that direction |
tinsel:Smart guys... One Nigeria! |
Kalashnikov49:IPOB member |
God1000:explain. i dont see any difference |
I don't know if you have seen any similarities between the supporters of Obi, BB Naija adherents etc. Yes, they call themselves youths yearning for a change in Nigeria but a closer look at them reveals an amalgamation of BB Naija adherents, yahoo boys, PDP renegades, tramadol addicts, and guys who are into all sorts of negative things. Most of them want to blame Nigeria and past leaders for what they do, just like Obi was also defending yahoo boys. While I agree our past and current leaders have failed Nigeria, Obi is definitely one of those failed leaders and Obi's failure/corruption and incompetence should even be a thing of concern to any serious-minded person. So, when I see Obi's followers (mostly igbo boys), I see a set of unserious, hardly-thinking brains who want to belong and turn important national issues into beer-parlour/night-club conversations. Those I pity are the PYO's supporters who are still busy licking their wounds and have refused to show sportsmanship. Some of them have crudely lumped themselves up with the traditional Obi supporters described above.

How can igbos with their thick local accent dominate Nigerian music? |
It was not by chance that Tinubu did so much in Lagos - he is a first class material. It is also not by chance that we couldn't find Obi's legacy in Anambra - he is a third class material. Mr "go and verify" can't do more than his brain capacity. |
Esseite:So, the 13 months strike is true after all. You now need to educate the other j@njaweed from SE who are saying otherwise just to project Obi as a good candidate. If Obi couldn't rule that small Anambra, how can any sane person think he can manage Nigeria? ? |
Kurutinto:Nonesense from an Ipod member... Imagine a northern candidate or Tinubu making that statement. We know what you would say https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/07/we-either-fix-nigeria-now-or-be-consumed-by-looming-anarchy-peter-obi-warns/ |
” I’m meeting all the Governors to tell them that very soon, if we fail to do the right thing there will be anarchy in the land that will consume everybody. ” Whether you are a Governor or a Bishop or anything, everybody will be consumed. I’m warning everybody, let’s fix this place now before it gets worse. It’s time to take back our country and rebuild it!" This desperado needs to be cautioned. Nigeria is not Anambra state where he ruled for 8 years without anything to show for it. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/07/we-either-fix-nigeria-now-or-be-consumed-by-looming-anarchy-peter-obi-warns/ |
NyamiriSlayer:A spare part seller at Ladipo |
sweetgala:I tell you he won't do anything other than pay salaries and party throughout the 4 years. A plus for Davido, his family, and Ede (maybe) but don't expect any big ideas or plans for the state. Egbon Deji only wanted to do something for his brother and keep him busy with something - afte rall it is public fund. Osun state is gradually stepping back to the Oyinlola era. |
olril17:Anyway, if you don't know Ikolaba, you should know Atapara - they are not far from each other. You should agree with me now you dont know Ede
|
GeneralPula:Man, you are not from Ede if you don't know Ikolaba around Oja Timi. The house I am talking about is not within the Ikolaba compound. Who builds a house inside the family compound again? |
