lexylaw40:Who knows him in the north? Let's discuss important issues like the possibility of Tinubu defeating Atiku in Adamawa, etc. |
Cantonese:Have you told us how Obi's father died? |
Nightwolf1:A simple question was asked, instead of you answering the question, this is all you have to say. Obi said he inherited a whopping $175m from his father and we are asking, who was this his father? Where did he make his money from? How did he die? If you don't know, simply make consultations and come back with details of who Obi's father was and how he died. |
JASONjnr:Nigerian youths across the country ![]() You wanted to say across the south east... |
tinsel:How did he die? Tell us since you know how he died. |
Can we revisit this topic? It's important we know the truth and I think it will serve the interest of the Obidients more to clear this cloud around Obi. Peter Obi's father was alleged drowned with a big stone around his neck by an opposing drug gang to his. His Igbo political opponents know this and believe it runs in his family. He's alleged to come from a criminally charged background dating to his Father, murdered the Chicago mafia style. Drowned with stone tied around his neck as per Google search. Any truth to this? Copied... |
Ghedo99:Na so we see am ooo. The desperation, impatience, and lawlessness are second to none - and they want to lead a country. |
I am sure after losing the election, he will tell us how much he squandered on all these rallies. |
Didi2d:Obi is not as popular as many of you think. When campaign starts and election is over it will be clear to whoever is in doubt. That igbo youths and IPOB members are making noise up and down doesn't mean he is popular. Popular where? In the North or SW? Nationally, we have two contenders: - Tinubu (APC) and Atiku (PDP) Regionally, we have 4 candidates: - Obi, Atiku, Tinubu in South East/South South - Tinubu in SW, - Tinubu, Atiku and Obi in NC - Tinubu, Atiku and Kwakwanso in NW - Tinubu and Atiku in NE |
EBMedia:From a man who said he should die if he leaves the APGA... ![]() Can he show us the sources of the inflows into the secret accounts he was operating while he was governor? |
Africana1123:The man, my next president... Nigeria will benefit so much from his wealth of vision. Zombidients should show us any visionary thing Obi did in Anambra that has survived beyond his lackluster 8 years rule. |
Owopariola001: ![]() |
lhordspy:Can you imagine that? These Igbo boys like deceiving themselves. How can someone senselessly say Nigerians want Obi? Who and who make up the Nigerians? Ok maybe anything igbos say is not the opinion of all Nigerians - continue, 2023 is around the corner. |
Kotudeji:It is a recipe for failure... |
OneEyedSnake:It is obvious. Who will see Lagos (Ekoyi, V/I, Lekki, etc) and decide to live in Akwa? And more so, we accommodate all. |
There have been discussions about the importance of political structures for electoral victory in Nigeria with the Obi's supporters downplaying it. They are now even equating political structures to rallies and marches in a few cities, most of which are sponsored and attendees coming from different locations/neighboring states to the venue of the so-called 1 million man march. Most of the guys packaging Obi are politically naive. Unfortunately, some of them are even professors but who is a professor? A professor is someone who knows so much about a little - so, they can be forgiven. To win an election in Nigeria, the following must be solidly in place. - An enduring and sustainable presence at every ward level. It is a presence/structure that can't be assembled over a few months because there must be a guarantee the structure will be there even after the election for the people. Of course, you can roll out money to conjure a structure but 90% of the money will end up in private pockets. So, I laugh when the Obi group is busy begging for money from his gullible followers - it won't lead to anything. - Mobilizers on election day at the ward level. If you don't have an enduring and sustainable presence, you won't have mobilizers in 80% of the locations that require it. Again, you don't roll out money overnight to build this - the money will end up in private pockets. When I see the Obi crowd who are only concentrated in one part of the country, I laugh. Even in those locations where we think the Obi crowd is concentrated, the start of the campaign will open the eyes of many, and since the other major parties have mobilizers in every ward, Obi will still struggle in many of those places. The Obi supporters will have to contend with the traditional mobilizers whose daily bread comes from the structure. - Having party agents on election day at every polling unit is key. I doubt if Obi will have party agents in up to 30% of the polling units across Nigeria. LP doesn't even have a national secretariat or campaign HQ in Abuja let alone at the state level. Where you don't have a presence/structure, even organizing party agents you can trust becomes practically impossible. While the diehard Obi's followers may volunteer to be party agents for free in the south-east and part of the south-south, you won't see LP party agents in many polling units in SW, NW, NE, and part of NC. Where you don't have party agents, you are on your own. I have been part of elections in Nigeria and therefore I'm talking from experience. |
I won't be surprised if LP doesn't have party agents at the polling units on election day. |
We have been reading reports of major political parties like the APC having strategy meetings at the party secretariats and campaign HQs, etc. Obi on the hand has only been junketing from one country to another. No strategy meetings of the party chieftains or backers ahead of the campaign, etc. I haven't heard of anything happening at the LP secretariat or campaign HQ in Abuja, or elsewhere. Is this guy actually in the race? |
SpecialAdviser:It is because their preferred candidate is Obi ![]() |
NgeneUkwenu:Just testing the mic... ![]() |
rickyrex:Every person who made billions from selling foreign goods in Nigeria has contributed to our economic problems and unemployment. When I see all those young guys shouting Obi, all I see is a generation of ignorants the country has produced. How can you be supporting a man who created the problems you are facing and made billions from it? Even Tony Olumelu of UBA invested heavily in local production and other local investments that are generating employment. Can we say the same about Obi? The money he even stole, he decided to stash/hide it away in tax haven... Thanks to Pandora papers revelations - we won't have known anything. |
PoliteActivist:Of course, every legitimate profession is noble. However, to expect a brain that knows nothing other than trading to solve a complex problem of nation-building is like expecting an expert in kite flying to pilot a plane with his kite flying knowledge. What do you think will happen? |
OneEyedSnake:Obi is a trader, he doesn't understand how the national economy works. Only a fool will hope an Alaba market trader can turn around the economy of a country. |
Jennifer663:A trader who contributed to the destruction of our economy is discussing economic recovery ![]() |
