Eziefe, you have to contest and sell yourself to Nigerians majority of whom are not igbos. You can't force yourself on anybody. With the way you guys are going about it (the tribal way), nigerians will reject any party that presents igbo as president. |
What is igbo presidency? Guys stop this tribal based politics if you ever wan to rule this country. What right has igbo got that other tribes dont have to the presidency? We need to grow up and embrace civilization completely. President should go to the best candidate based on track record - even if a particular section produces the best candidate all the time, so be it. With a good leader we all are going to benefit and the benefit will cut across tribes. With a sectional leader put in power by tribal sentiment, only a few rogues and businessmen will benefit and our troubles continue. |
Dead on arrival... Who is Shakarau? What did he do differently when he was Kano state governor? The only card APC has is Buhari and probably Oshiomole. Put any northerner, Igbos and SS will still not vote the person - their votes will still go to the clueless one. Hence, the person the opposition needs is someone who can hold the north tight - only Buhari can do this. Any other person will result in northern and SW votes being easily divided or tampered with by PDP. We know with ACN (Tinubu and Buhari's influence in SW), we have South West right in our hands. Already, campaign has started for Buhari in South West. |
splashbaby: Waoo are u serious? Hope this is not a spurious claim. I have never heard of that in any historic literature...May be you have access to certain reasonable facts to prove these claims...it will be interesting if you can share it with us though! You see, igbos dont have history. The reason they struggle everyday to put unreasonable events together as history. How on earth will a sane person with a sense of history say some Yorubas are igbo decendants? What do we share in common with Yaminrins? Igalas are Yorubas - nothing igbotic in their lineage. Igbos are liars and only looking for a link that doesnt exist because of oil in igala land. |
stebell: Jus came back 4rm church n I tell yu de service was superb. I love being in de presence of de Most High God. Unlike yu haters of GEJ here in nairaland, don't go n look for sometin meaningful to do wit ur life. Even on sunday yu still insult ur leader n yu expect God to answer ur prayers. Hahaha I D̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ laff una. GEJ my prayer 4 yu is dat God will continue to give yu strenght n courage to pilot de affairs of dis gr8 nation. AmenSee hypocrite... You just came back of church and the service was superb... and so what? With the rubbish you posted up there, you dont need to tell anybody who you are worshipping and how dirty your mind is. Your god (the devil you worship) should continue to give GEJ strength to further entrench corruption in the land? |
Biodup: obj is more love by northerners for handling over power to the northerner in 1979. also obj is not religious bigot like buhari and othersDoes the love northerners have for OBJ makes OBJ a northerner? GEJ didnt get any vote from the north in 2011? Buhari is a religious bigot? How? Because he is a muslim? Every muslim is a bigot but xtians are not? Is that your logic? I am begining to lose hope in the mental capability of southerners especially those ones from SE/SS. Guys, grow up and begin to use your senses - it is a free gift from God. |
Sincere 9gerian: We all know GEJ got to his position by PROVIDENCE. Though he finally got elected in 2011 but without the death of Yar Adua, GEJ stood NO CHANCE of either contesting or winning in 2011. As a matter of FACT, if Yar Adua had not died, no southerner stood any chance of contesting and winning against him in 2011.I hate responding to a scumbag's post but is GEJ the only Southerner to be president since 1999? So, OBJ is a notherner? Or tell me OBJ was not elected by Nigerians (southerners and northerners). Man, dont ever respond to my post again in your miserable existence. |
koruji: Fasehun is going to lose respect if he keeps claiming he doesn't see the connection between his sudden romance wit Ijaws (even going as far as publicly supporting GEJ's right to a second term), his sudden NNPC 'interviews' and so-called revival of UPN. He is being used, he knows it but is playing along in order to get his contract. Problem is those using him have no intention of awarding any contract to him but will use him to try and divide the SW.The useless man wants to get multi billion naira contract from GEJ... The reason he has lost control of his senses and coming out to support GEJ. Fasheun is so senseless that he thinks Nigerians and South Westerners most importantly will not be able to establish any connection between his money/contract seeking efforts and sudden support for GEJ. Fasheun is a rogue and very soon he will know. |
Sincere 9gerian: I'm not a bigot but the question that readily comes to mind when one reads this type of report is WHY NOT Amaechi-Lamido ticket? Must the south always serve under the north? You are not going to get answer on NL except Amaechi is a NLander himself. My advice to you, take the next bus to PH and find your way to government house for a meeting with Amaechi. May be you can convince him to request for presidential slot instead of VP - ask him to insist on it. You question is right but the other people can ask the same question - afterall the current setup is southerner president (GEJ) and northerner VP (Sambo). Why can't it be Northerner president and Southerner VP? |
abes: I remember this article has been dealt with sometimes last year.GEJ's boyz propaganda... to maintain division and crisis in the land. And you can see some illiterate south easterners/southerners saying rubbish without even reading the old article. |
Muslim groups are pursuing peace while CAN insists on its divisive campaign. What will CAN benefit from this? It will be interesting to know the real people behind boko |
And who is more exposed to BH attack? Angba omo adie lowo iku olo un fe lo si akitan lo jeun... |
Timehin: Am neither a fan of ACN or PDP but if fasheun is truly being used to split sw votes then its politics. Plain & simple! Must every yoruba man follows tinubu like bigots? The question is, how will Fasheun split SW votes? Who is Fasheun? Is he going to rig elections at gun point for GEJ/his party or he hopes SWesterners will willingly vote for him? The guys must be joking to think SWesterners are dumbos like him and thinking with his dull brain that Yorubas will vote Alao-Akala, Oyinlola, OBJ, Fasheun, etc because their party name is UPN? Can't stop laughing... |
Wily,Wily:Keep deceiving yourself... Do you think we are dumbos like you? We dont follow name but people - people of substance not thugs like Fasheun... |
Adejoro74: I beg make we hear word. Too much noise making of fake sophistication (my foot). All you guys do is political thuggery and killing of one another for politicalreasons. Another wetie wetie is about to happen. Just keep living in denial.Where and because of who? Fasheun is nobody in SW politics - the dead AD will get more votes that his evil party. You can even see how popular Fasheun by the comments from Yorubas on NL. His UPN is dead on arrival. |
Sunny_bobo: Why can't other tribes in Nigeria learn how to play politics from Ndigbo?Learn politics from Igbos? How? What political experience do ibos have? The last I check, a ibo man has not even slept in villa as VP talkless of being a president. What political knowledge are you talking about that has not given you the highest seat in the land. Other tribes who have headed the country democratically should now go to Igboland to learn how not to win election or how not to have a formidable party? You make me laugh. When Igbos should begin to see how they can enrol for political fundational training (PFT 101) in SS. |
Afam4eva: People now see how calling the name "Awolowo" can automatically make you win elections in the SW. Now, Faseun and his party want to join the fray. They're all welcome. But unfortunately, none of them are followers of Awolowo in deeds. They're just opportunists seeking for power. It all depends on who calls Awolowo's name. The UPN idea from Fasheun (GEJ's thug) is dead on arrival in south west. Do you think South Westerners are dumbos or imbes.? |
Nothing will happen - it will die like AD. SWesterners dont follow names but the people in the in the party. We were not just following UPN. We followed the party because of the people in their and their programmes. Is behind UPN? Jonathan... Died on arrival. |
Lusola15: Sorry u don't speak for all yorubas not for me. I keep an open mindMan, you can keep your mind open and collect money from Fasheun to destabilise south west. That your open crude mind wont change anything in SW. We know we have scumbags here as well - Bode George, Obanokoro, OBJ, Gbenga Danie, Alao Akala, Oyinlole, etc to mention a few. I am sure your mind is open like that of the guys I mentioned here. But for the majority sane SWesternees, we know our right from left. The good thing, we are in the majority - scumbags are few here unlike SE. |
dougivilla: Buhari is desperate, simple! Even Abraham Lincon was not repeating contest for the same office every four years; registering and/or jumping from party to party. You are too dull to engage in a debate... So, Buhari should contest for another office because Abraham Lincoln didnt contest for the same office each time he contested? But Ambraham Lincoln was contesting for the next higher office. Which other higher office would Buhari have contested for? Or are you suggesting he should contest for governorship or any other lower office since he didnt win presidency? Why are these guys from SE this dull? |
Emperor_007: Buhari is not the messiah to turn Nigeria around.Give us another person but definitely not GEJ |
20pounds: I will nt vote Buhari cos it's clear dat he's nt in tune wt modern realities. GEJ is more amenable to what is trending, d world over.I agree with you that Buhari not in tune with modern reality like looting, funding militants and gangsters, supporting and encouraging looters. When Biafra becomes a country, I am sure all their leaders will have the profile of GEJ till end come. |
chairman: It took some wise ppl about 50 years to destroy nigeria, and the wisest and most inteligent ppl of naira land believes that jonathan must right 50 years wrong in 2 years. I don't see why buhari should be so desparate making this a do or die affair, his desparation is saying something to inteligent ppl but of cause little minded ones will not hear itTo your dull brain, contesting an election is being desperate? Your education, if you have any, is a waste. You are still living and reason just like your fore father who worshipped amadioha and their Nzemo through out their miserable lives. |
omenka: Just imagine the trash. So because we are in the 21st century, one shouldn't excise his right to vie for an elective position anymore? What kind of logic is that? What is Ananih still doing in politics? What is Bode george doing? What is Edwin Clerk doing? And Bamanga Tukur? Not even to mention, they are all known crooks! All it takes is scumbags from SE to be ruled by a scumbag from SS. |
MiloRambaldi: How will Buhari reduce corruption? Has he ever mentioned how? Corruption is largely caused by the useless Police and the even more useless Judiciary. Has Buhari ever said anything to show he'll do anything about these institutions? The only real fix PHCN needs is privatization and FG is almost there. The only lasting fix for NNPC is also privatization. But Buhari is among those opposed to subsidy removal, which is required to open way for privatizing the Downstream sector. The North holds the nation's oil and gas industry hostage by opposing the PIB. The only way to really fix things is to fix the institutions. Nothing about Buhari shows he knows this. Better someone else, not this old bigot.Do you know who an imbe. is? Your questions sounded like those coming from an imbe. |
TechyGuy: The same Buhari that said Abacha is not corrupt? Certainly NOT!He can say this because he has first hand information about Abacha. The PTF he headed was under Abacha and if Abacha were that corrupt, he would have one way or the other tried to influence him given the amount of money PTF was managing. PTF still remain one of the intervention funds people still talk about till today. Do you even know the name of the agancy that replaced PTF? I am sure you dont because the agency is not making any impact in your life. Can we point to the trillions they said Abacha looted? Where is the money today? What are they doing with the Abacha loot that you can say you have seen a difference in your life? I hate the military but not because they are soldiers but because they have absolute power and absolute power they say corrupts absolutely. However, some military men are far better than most of the politicians that are ruling us today. For me, if a military man is in power and does not take advantage of the absoluteness of military power to enrich himself/family/friends, that person will do excellently well as a civilian leader. The reason, Buhari is my man till end of time. And I would expect any sane Nigerian, who is not an enemy of Nigeria/Nigerians like our brothers..., to know that the right person to vote for in a contest between GEJ and Buhari, is Buhari. |
Waliyin Allah: 4rm which villege are you 4rm?He is a village monkey from the bush of SE. |
What else do you deserve? You want to eat your cake and have it? You can't vote/rig election for a criminal and think all will be well with you. |
israel007: And when u hear of this south africa you will think its one modest country. I don't blame u people. Na nigerians wey dey go there I blame. If South Africa is not a modest country, what are Igbos doing there? How many south africans do you see in Nigeria leaving the way Igbos are leaving in SA? You guys should stop disgracing this country outside. |
The end of GEJ's government is imminent... |
