PoliticsRe: What Does Buhari Intend To Do With Presidential Power? by OsunOriginal: 10:20pm On Jan 08, 2013
anulaxad: READ MY COMMENTS FROM THE START YOU MORONIC,DERANGED FOOL.

Yes he dealt with corruption by killing corrupt officials, but he was a bigotry killing Christians in the north. Corruption for faaaack sake is not the problem nigeria is facing, it's lack of good leadership.

you must be one of those 'heartless illiterates' I mentioned earlier about.Who in there right mind will kill someone just like that, torturing is even better. But anyway everyone must have there say.
Was any corrupt person killed in your family? Yes or no? If yes, give us the name of the person so we know the hell of a family you came from.

Stop the bullshit that you keep spewing in public - it is better to keep quiet and be thought to be intelligent than to open your mouth and remove all doubts. Buhari killing xtains in the north, killing xtains in South East and South South - are those xtains fowls that the man (Buhari) has not been arrested and taken to the Hague for crime against humanity? So, stop talking like a foolish villager.

And law is law - whether it is dealth penalty or not. The criminals that committed the crime knew the penalty and they still went ahead - meaning they were ready to face the consequences of the actions. So, what is your own when the criminal is ready to face the penalty? I still advice you visit Yaba left.

Like someone said, if the dealth penalty must be stopped, let the murderers take the first step.

ROSSIKE: You can't argue against the facts. Power supply has literally DOUBLED since Jonathan came to power, from 2,200 mw in 2010 to the current 4,500 mw. It has translated to better supply over the last YEAR - not over the last week or months.

That's really good progress for a couple of years if you know anything about power. I think you should offer words of support to ongoing efforts.
So, power generation from AES and other PPP is GEJ's work? What are we getting from Kanji and other government owned power generating plants? How many new power plants did GEJ government birthed even the PPP?

GEJ is not doing anything yet in Nigeria other than corruption.

anulaxad: undecided undecided undecided

TRUST ME ON THIS YOUR COMMENT SEEMS TO BE 'FAULTY'. WHY WELL BECAUSE I'M DEFINITELY NOT IN SUPPORT OF BUHARI, ALSO AS YOU SEE ME I AM A ANTI GEJ ACTIVIST.BUT I STRONGLY BELIEVE NIGERIA CAN DO BETTER THEN ALL THESE OVERRATED SELF CONFIDENT ARROGANT HEARTLESS FOOLS.

I MEAN WHAT'S THE POINT OF KILLING PEOPLE WHO ARE CORRUPT.WHY NOT TORTURE THEM OR LET THEM ROT IN JAIL. RELIGIOUS OR NOT, IT'S IMMORAL TO KILL.ONLY HEARTLESS ILLITERATES THAT HAVE NOT BE TAUGHT WHAT HUMAN MORALITY IS, ARE READY TO KILL.
Who in your family was killed for corruption? You need mental examination... You started by saying Buhari was killing xtians when he was head of state. Now you are talking about killing corrupt people.

ROSSIKE: I'm sorry but the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF CONTRIBUTORS have stated they are experiencing IMPROVED POWER SUPPLY.

That is something you cannot WISH AWAY.

You cannot subsume the majority view in your political bias.
Where is your village? You dont seem to know what they call power improvement. We have see all these sporadic power supply many times in the past.

Sincere 9gerian: PDP picks consensus candidate as BOT Chairman

Nigeria’s ruling PDP has a new Board of Trustees Chairman.
Nigeria’s ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party, has picked a consensus candidate for the position of National Chairman of its Board of Trustees.

An announcement is expected shortly on who the consensus candidate and BOT chairman is, though speculations are rife that the consensus is the former national chairman of the party, Ahmadu Ali.

The BOT is one of the most influential organs of the party.

Insincere9gerian, your man GEJ is losing gradually... No wonder the no vacancy in Aso Rock posters. Afterall, he may not even be meeting us in the general election.

ROSSIKE: You must be reading the wrong thread.
Go through the thread again - as I am typing I have been on gen and it has been like that since morning likewise many other people.

There is nothing special going on - even before gej I have seen light more steady for some period especially during election period only for the situation to nose dive later. So, you can only fool yourself not us - we know what steady power is - I can define it if you dont.
PoliticsRe: What Is The Present State Of Electricity In Your City/state by OsunOriginal: 9:20pm On Jan 08, 2013
With the responses so far, we can all see there is no improvement yet. There is nothing happening anywhere now that we have not seen before. What we want is steady power suppy across the country, not sporadic power supply.
PoliticsRe: Ahmadu Ali Is The New PDP BoT Chairman by OsunOriginal: 9:14pm On Jan 08, 2013
ziccoit: OBJ is still a force to recon with in political equation of this nation not only the PDP.
GEJ needs to call his attack dogs to order lest they put him in a deep shit. The sooner he realizes the indispensability of OBJ the better.
Stop there - he is only strong in PDP and taking advantage of the hatred an average meaningful Nigerian now have for GEJ. Everybody apart from the SE and SS is tired of GEJ. GEJ knows his time is up and the reason they went printing posters saying vacancy in Aso rock.

You go die by that oooo.

As I am typing, I am on gen in Lagos. It has been epileptic - it has been on/off/on/off.

Full privatisation is the solution - the clueless thiefing politicians should not have anything to do with power supply.

Not commensurate with the increase in power bill - 3 times what we used to pay. I will say, no improvement that I can write home about and can't justify the increase in tarrif for now. Generator is still the only reliable source of power in my house.
PoliticsRe: What Does Buhari Intend To Do With Presidential Power? by OsunOriginal: 2:01pm On Jan 08, 2013
Flyboy Zee: @OsunOriginal, you lied again.

In the 90s we had the highest explosion of kerosene lamps in Nigeria, because neither IBB nor Abacha norr even Abdusalam cared a hoot about us.

@OsunOriginal, you are a very selfish and self centred person. I have read every post in this thread and nobody complained of worst electricity supply but you. Leave wherever you are and do a little study on power supply improvement and you will realise that its only you that is still living in the 90s Nigeria, when every other person has moved on. I do not enjoy 24 hours electricity, but I still acknowledge that supplies has improved nationwide. Since you are that selfish, let me give you a clue. Your power problem could be from your local power station or illegal and improper connections done by consumers. I'm very sure to high degree that your transformer, which I guess is overloaded is even the culprit.
Shut the f.uck up. I wasnt a kid in 1990 - I was already in the university. So what are you talking about? What was Nigeria power output in 1995 for example? Was power supply this eratic even in 1995 during Abacha? And how much was my Dad paying at the time for electricity? How much am I paying now? Is power supply, after spending billions of dollars, now steady as expected? I have lived outside of Nigeria unlike you villager and I know what they call steady power supply. Until we get to that point when I see power supply for 24 hours continuously, we are still nowhere and the supply must be good enough to power my equipment... And all those election time achievements will not sway anybody this time around - what we need is consistent performance.

fratochi: Please can some one especially the vicious buhari protagonists intelligently respond to the issues raised by the moderator instead of the unnecessary name-calling time wasting, I am neither a card carrying CPC or PDP member, but I am a strong believer in good and equitable governance. I also wish to remind us that being 'christian saint' or a 'muslim afar' is not an automatic credential or qualification for good leadership. It is all encompassing, and most importantly, masses friendly, not inclined to 'power-hungary desperation , void of ethnic and religious sentiments. You can make your deductions as regards buhari, jonathan and past nigerian leaders .
Learn to read - it doesnt hurt. Dont be lazy.

I have read again again on this threat what Buhari intends to do with power - the people rooting for Buhari are not illiterate traders or Almanjiris. They are highly educated patriotic Nigerians from across Nigerians - not people with watery brains like insere9gerian, Beaf, yourself, etc.

I know you are ignorant - the reason you are supporting/voting GEJ, not PDP.

The government of Buhari went after real criminals/politicians who soiled their hands during the civilian regime. Many northerners were dealth with - do you know at all how Umaru Dikko was to be cagged/smuggled out of UK? Who among the souther politicians faced that commendable hash treatment?

Shagari wouldnt have been jailed because he did loot our treasury - the government went after the theives, not the innocent ones. And if you have anyone who you, in your tribalist brain, think should not have been jailed, let me know and I will take it up.

Godstimefx: U av simply said nothing. The question is wat does he intend to do interms of his programmes and not whether he'll do better. I accept that he's incorigible but if he hasnt got something newer and beta than wat is already ongoing, then his quest lacks purpose.
Open your eyes this time around and read the below... If you are too lazy to read and you want me to read it to you, I can help - just give me your phoone number, I will call you and read it to you.

A vote for Buhari is a vote for prosperity . . . Remember a drunken fisherman only know the different flavors of hot drinks not the solutions to the many problems facing our nations
PoliticsRe: What Does Buhari Intend To Do With Presidential Power? by OsunOriginal: 12:36pm On Jan 08, 2013
Lanre6: you are only saying this because you have not been into north, you dont know the supremacy between between christians and muslims.ask deeply about the death of former kaduna gov.,plane crash of taraba state governor.wide jubilation of muslims in northern kaduna about their governor's death.ibi, taraba state crisis.nepotism in recruitment, promotion.you will hardly come back to pray that buhari should rule nigeria.
And how will Buhari ruling Nigeria tilt the balance of religious supremacy in the north in favour of muslims? Are you saying muslims should not be allowed to rule Nigeria in order for the christians to be favoured? If you think this way, how are you then different from the muslims that you are accusing even when the muslims are in majority? It follows then that you will do worse than the muslims are doing if you become the majority... think about it.

This is not support either side anyway and we are not here to discuss religion/religion-leadership so people with deformed brain should not come here to divert our attention from the real issue which is to have good political leadership in Nigeria.

joseph1832: Dude for the first time I was actually enjoying your thread until you said "which alhaji does he want to appoint minister of..." Then it hit me, your not only a tribalist but also a religious bigot.

Until people like you stop advocating tribalism and religious bigotry, meritocracy will never see the light of day!
When criminals dont have anywhere to hid, they resort to religion and tribalism. This is the weapon PDP is using now to divide the people in order to retain power. Unfortunately the bigots are not seeing beyond religion and have continued to follow the lies - now we are all paying the price and the empty prayers have not worked for anybody apart from religious business owners.

I agree that Buhari is better than many of our leaders but I still believe that he does not have the leadership qualities to lead this great country again. He does not have any good news for this country.Mind you, it was on record that during his tenure as Head of State, some forms of corruptions were allowed. He is not a messiah we need at this time. He has caused several spillage of blood in this country. He should only serve as a mentor to others. He can never rule this country. NEVER!
Can you list those corruption he allowed during his time and the perptrators of the crimes under Buhari?

And how is causing spillage of blood in Nigeria? All have pointed to PDP - Boko Haram, Oct 1 2010 bombing, etc. And these are the people you support. You should be ashamed of yourself mr man.
PoliticsRe: What Does Buhari Intend To Do With Presidential Power? by OsunOriginal: 12:08pm On Jan 08, 2013
Flyboy Zee: @OsunOriginal, you lied.

There is absolutely nobody living in Nigeria that would not acknowledge the improvement in power supply accross the nation. If you want to hate, please find a genuine reason not power supply.

@GMB apologists, this is not a military government where everything and anything is done by brutal force. This is a democracy, you habe to persuade, appease, appeal, and negotiate with people to get your way. For instance, OBJ came to power and further messed everything up with his military bravadoism, alacrity and brutalism. It is now we are begining a democracy. I keep maintaining that OBJ only continued military rule, because what we had under OBJ was really not a democracy. All those supporting GMB should know that we are done with military rule and wouldn't want the return of BRUTALITY!
Shut the f.uck up. Power has been going on and off more than 4 times this morning in my house. And now I have to switch over again to Gen. Sincerely, I should be sueing the government of Nigeria and PHCN for increasing power tarrif more than 3 times what we used to pay without any conmensurate improvement in power supply.

I am a Nigeria living in Nigeria and I grew up here - power supply in the 90's even during military era was far far better than what we see today. What improvement are you talking about? Even the epileptic power we get these days can't fully power AC without good stabilizer. I dont know if anybody has noticed that.

Stop talking rubbish if you dont know what they call improvement...

Youve posted the same things over and over again, dont you think its about time you limit the pics and stop giving undecided people the impression that hes going to take the country to the past? You, I and well meaning Nigerians know that Buhari is probably the last good man standing right now in Nigerian politics, but your posts are starting to be amor for evil animals like InsincereDevil9gerian to use against him and sway the minds of Nigerians whom you should remember are mostly politically ignorant and could turn against even Jesus using the flimsiest of excuses.

gbanikiti: so because you have steady supply of light we no go hear word for nairaland? Do think of others who do not have electricity in their area or who can't boast of 8hrs of light in a day? In my area the light is being rationed for the past 10years because the new feeder haven't been completed. So what do you say to that?
In Nigeria today, the only reliable source of electricity still remains generator... We buy fuel everyday to power our gen and we see people running around with jerrican in search of fuel for generator. So what improvement are you talking about? And today I pay about 3 times what I used to pay a year ago. Shouldnt I have some improvement even if is going to be an hour additional per day with the exorbitant monthly fee?
