fr_evangel: I do not like PDP but we don't have any worthy opposition yet I keep telling friends. What we have is a bunch of overzealous, over ambitious and disgruntled politicians posing as messiahs but they are truly sheep in wolves clothing.Stop being myopic my friend... What makes democracy work? What do you think in your brain will make politicians sit up? Is it by keeping a party in power and allowing them to mess up the country to a point of destruction while you keep saying there is no other party/opposition in the country? Democracy works when the electorate assume their rightful position of changing occupants of political offices at the poll. This is what makes politicians and political parties sit up and begin to do the will of the people. Anywhere in the world, thats what makes democracy work for the people. Your thinking will only keep you in perpectual monopoly and polical bondage - this is not the spirit of democracy. PDP has have been given the opportunity to lead the country but they failed woefully. To make them sit up, they have to be shown the way of power. When they lose power for 4 or 8 years, they will change their warpped orientation the next time they have the opportunity to lead. The same goes for other parties. For our democracy to grow. we must keep changing parties and individuals in power. And you say the opposition is over ambitious. What do you mean by that? When has seeking to be elected into office become being over ambitious? It is like saying looking for a job after graduation from university is over ambition. For the country to move forward (if you are really interested in progress and not someone from you state, region or religion ruling), the opposition should be supported in their over ambition to chase the PDP out. By doing so, we are not only helping the country but also a future PDP. |
Kwajay: @OP dont u think ur prayers are already null & void?Misplaced priority? How do you mean? GEJ's priority now is 2015 election and whether you like it or not, campaign has already started. This is GEJ's own way of starting campaign and bribing voters ahead of election. |
Rgp92: https://www.eatliver.com/img/2009/3843.jpgIt is all laziness... Lazy people looking for shortcut and waiting to reap where they have not sown. Unfortunately we now have supposed elders who should be encouraging hardwork, now opening churches and telling young men and women that prayer is all they need. What a way to encourage laziness and kill the talent in people? |
Sagamite: While the fucktards praying for them will die a miserable death in an under-equipped hospital if they crash on the poor road people like him and his inner circle (the ones fooling them so he can hold on to power as a vegetable) steal the project funds to live a high life and fly to Germany. Even being paid estacode while in Germany. The prayer fucktards would barely even be able to afford the hospital bill in Nigeria, talkless of going to get the best care in Germany that the crooks destroying their lives love to get.Man, you took those words out of my mouth... thanks |
anulaxad: may I ask are you talking about the same elections in nigeria or somewhere else. You're funny, but let me tell you,his only doing his first term, what makes you think he wont run for his second term and NOT WIN.What I meant by obvious is when the majority of Nigerians actually go out to vote GEJ out. Sincerely, GEJ was supported massively wrongly by southerners in the last election. |
Eziachi: Okay! Well I am from Biafra a.k.a SE, my illiteracy and ignorant is not that bad and I am really not that bad in terms of knowledge. I had been an orthopaedic surgeon in England/Scotland for the past 39 years, my son has ten years experienced oxford trained as a surgeon too, my daughter is an executive news producer/presenter with Al Jazeera network in Doha.Enviable credentials... You need to launch a re-orientation programme at home - things are falling apart back home. |
truelove.com:Yorubas will not join you to manipulate elections with a view to cheating other regions of the country. We should lay a good foundation for the country and not continue in the old evil tradition of deceipt, lies, manipulation and falshood. For how long do you think you can keep manipulating and cheating the other people? If the table turns accidentally like the way GEJ became president, what will happen? The vicious cycle of deceipt continues and the future of the country and that of our children is jeopardised. Learn from other enviable countries of the world - let always set the record straight. Let the best among the contestants irrespective of region and religion lead - all of us whether minority or majority will benefit from a good leader. Also in this way, anybody, regardless of where you come from will have the hope of aspiring to the highest position in the land. Obama is American president today because nobody is cheating at the pool or trying to side tract a tribe from presidency - no lies, no falsehood. Lets do the same here and make our country enviable. You are talking about power output increasing under PDP/Southerner? How? About 6 months ago it went down to 2000mega Watts before it came up again to 4500mega Watta. Who knows what level it will fluctuate to later? Do you have an idea of Nigeria power output in 1995? Do you know the power supply situation in the country even in those days of the military who probably are northerner as you want me to believe? So, what has PDP/souther presidents (obj/GEJ) done even with all the billions of dollars spent on power generation? Can you remember the power probe in the house during Obasanjo? Did you see the mess that was eventally killed by OBJ the same way GEJ has killed subsidy probe and Ribadu report? Last year I was paying 2k for power mothly - today i pay 7k and despite this, generator still remain the only reliable source of power in my house. So, what are you talking about? What is the essence of 4500 mega watts that has not translated into constant and affordable power supply for the masses of the country? |
0lumide: The delusion I keep noticing among SS/SE is the "south" won't vote for "north" mentality. Lumping the biggest zone (west) with SS/SE.I agree with you my brother. Watching the game closely, any combination that doesnt have Buhari in it will only make it easy for PDP/GEJ to retain power. Opposition dont have to spend much to capture the whole of north with Buhari. If the opposition is serious about capturing power, democracy/election should then be seen as trust people have in a candidate. The north and some of us in the south have trust in Buhari already - nobody needs to sell him to us. We will even spend our money to campaign for him. All we need now is a heavy weight from ACN to pair up with him. Oshiomole will be the right candidate if he is interested - being a xtian and a performing governor. Also, Oshiomole can talk very well - he will act our dear Tunde Idi-agbo of blessed memory. |
Gbawe: Man mi, the same way the very mediocre GEJ cannot buy leadership ability is the same way his 'slow' minions and sycophants cannot buy a decent brain to replace the Goat crap in their head. Imagine saying EL Rufai contested against GEJ in 2011. Are these not the utterances, as some of us have argued, that indicate the blind followers of GEJ here are mainly bigoted and clannish twerps who see every Yarobus and "abokis" as the same and enemies of GEJ?Man, I am amazed at the level of illiteracy and ignorance in those regions - SE/SS. They are too backward in terms of knowledge than I could ever have imagined - thank God for social media. |
truelove.com:Why will you not vote any northerner for president? Can you tell me why in bullet points? Are they not Nigerians? If the north says they will never vote any South Easterner for president, will anybody from South East ever be president of this country? Remember this is democracy - it is a game of number. |
truelove.com:So, I should support GEJ and PDP because GEJ is from SS and more so that northern muslims see their southern counterpart as fake. Kudos to your logic. You need help. |
2Legit2Qui: LOL. How ridiculous. But they have money to fly choppers and jets to their campaign grounds. Very shallow thinking. He should travel by road from Kaduna to Lagos? Or from Katsina to Burno by road? and from also trave by road from Katsina to portharcourt? What jet are talking about sef? Arik Aircraft or which one? |
Eziachi: You really think living in a village is a bad thing, with all the fresh air, fresh foods and veg? Typical Nigeria, living in concrete jungle is idea of a good life. It the same, for mindless southerners that always uses the term cattle reares as an insult for northerners. But they don't know that in all rich nation, you really had to be somebody to raise a cattle.I agree with you. You can be a villager and be very smart. But some villagers can be very fooooolish like some of the SE posters on NL. |
truelove.com:Look at them, foolish villagers from SE/SS trying to instigate the west against the north - this is dead on arrival. We are more intelligent than you guys and I think you should know this. |
jas_o: Whatever the post or information meant to achieve I don’t care; what I want us to know is so simple, after we had severally tried for the able man and majority of Nigerian seems to not share our logical reason about Buhari as an outstanding presidential candidate, i think is high time we have another vibrant person that presents Buhari's quality. Why not present yourself or someone from South East village? |
Sunny_bobo: Assuming your postulation above is true about roads, how about the other sectors? Afenifere didn't just complain about roads, they raised other issues like Education and food schemes. Just in case you didn't read through the full excerpt as posted, you can read the remaining part here;Interesting... South East villagers are now the ones reminding the more civilized Yorubas of their marginalization by Buhari. I never knew that the south east villagers love Yorubas so much |
vladimiros: DAT SLOWPOKE HAS IMPROVED UR LIGHT FROM 2000MW TO 4500MWWhat light has he improved? I have been running on generator since morning despite paying 7k monthly instead of 2k that I used to pay. I see more people on the road with jerricans looking for fuel for their generator than before - no light, no fuel. So, what rubbish are you yabbing? We have people who have not seen light for more than 2 weeks here in Lagos despite the exorbitant fee they charge. Blla Bla Bla - do you know the number of PPP that we have in the country today that supply to national grid? |
DANILSA: WAITING FOR OSUNORIGINAL BEFORE I COMMENT FURTHERYou think all those trash posted by PDP political jobbers will move any sane person? It is only the likes of you who are drowning already that will see this as a straw they can hold for support. I grew up in Osun and I wasnt a kid when Buhari headed PTF. I have never seen any intervention fund in the history of this country that added so much value to all across the country. All higher institutions in Osun State benefitted from PTF including some major roads in the state - standard Borehole, roads, School buses (very strong ones), hospital equipment and free drugs. All these without anybody asking for it - this is how government should run - since the scrap of PTF, what do we have? What do we see? 7 years after I was at LUTH in Lagos for a project and I couldn't belief still seeing PTF beds in the wards. Who are those Afenifere saying they were maginalized? Were they looking for contract and they were not given or what? Like I told one of the retardeens on NL (sincere9gerian), we have our senses still functioning and we are using it. We are not here to support anybody because the person is from our region or religion/cult. We are not looking for money or political position from anybody - I will never be a azzlicker like yourself. Nigeria must be great - that is our target and we will achieve this by God's grace. |
kawkab: Some of the post in this thread has gone long way to show the reasons why we have challenges as a nation. very few persons have taken an unbiased and objective assessment of the situation at hand. You are an id.iot! Why are you labouring to exonorate GEJ/PDP? Why can't you wait and see if those posters will be removed by the government? Why not wait to see if GEJ government in view of this will send a strong message out to whoever may be posting posters - PDP or opposition. CPC is your problem - abi? A party that didnt even have money to print posters for his candidate when he constested is now rich enough to start printing posters to blackmail GEJ... What manner of a watery thinking is this? Simply put, GEJ and his evil supporters (like you) are only testing the mood of Nigerians with this poster. |
etenyong: But why must d SO CALLED men of God always predict bad thing. I hate to hear negative comment by dis pastors. I declear dos negative predictions powerless in Jesus Name. God bless Nigeria. How will their usual victims run to them/church if dont scare them? |
solomon111: what part of his 'body language' suggests he will run again? And who is saying he is not qualify to run? He should run and run very fast. But we know he is running back to Etuoke. And I am waiting to see how he will change 20% vote to 80% and the whole of Etuoke will not be levelled. |
anulaxad: It's obvious he is going to win. This election will be different - you can't rig if it is too obvious, otherwise, he wont enjoy a day on the thrown. |
Billyonaire: PDP governors in Akwa IBOm and Cross River States transformed those states. Its more about the individual politicians and the determination. Should PDP in Lagos field a new blood of candidate with excellent track record, then it will better for Lagos than the Present beaches thieving, land-ripping, toll-collecting, Lasu fee heigtening, Hotels building, drug pushing, and IGR pocketing cabals headed by the Lion of Bourdillon, the King of Fraud. What do you call transformation? They transformed the state by tarring the roads in the state capaital? Show me two towns in those states apart from the state capital that have good roads even if road is now what transforms a state. Also tell me how many natives of Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers States who were living in Lagos and other parts of the country have moved back home now that their states have been transformed to heaven on earth - Dubai in Nigeria. |
GAR3TH: Prayers will do absolutely nothing...In order for something to work properly you have to get up and physically fix the problem, not pray that it will get fixed, magically. We need to task our leaders and holding them accountable for the things they do. Not just watch from the sidelines like zombies while they steal millions from our nation.Lazy/dull people will always resort to prayers while diligent/intelligent people always get up and physically fix the problem. Have you ever asked why most Nigerians especially the southerners do nothing but prayer? They are lazy human beings who want to reap where they have not done anything. By the way, I am also a southerner but a very hardworking one... and I thank God for the reward of hardwork. |
nerdivist: Abegi positive criticism is what we needAnd who is praying for who? Empty hand on empty head... |
DANILSA: SHUT-UP FAKE OSUN MAN, WHAT IS Igbos?Igbo means to rig election like you did in 2011 when 100% turn out was recorded in most Igbo states. And Igbo-Igbo means election rigger. |
slim fit :What are we discussing here and what's this id.iot talking? Here is one of the bastards that brought us to this point. Baboon brain human being. |
Mexyz: Attack me if u lyk,bt d truth mst be tld, even sme of us here dnt pay tax,our parents dnt pay either,so which one is our money? Pray u get to helm of affairs too, because am sure sme of us wl perfrm worst dan these people. Am nt defendn anybdy,nt even Gej.GEJ, the slowpoke, is better than you. |
Sincere 9gerian: I had to quickly post my earlier comment because I didn't have time but somehow I thought this thread will make front page, and it did.Very interesting and happy that this is coming from enemy's camp... Buhari was once head of state and his name didnt appear in the list above. Can you see now that we are sensible people with brain still functioning while you have none supporting an embarrassment to the country? |
ochukoccna: Imagine waking up to 2013,streaming BBC news over your smartphone&hearing such been broadcast globallyFast Fast... |
40fied: I'm surprised you all are saying all these. You all have probably forgotten that this man's human, and does not have super-extraordinary powers capable of solving all the problems facing Nigeria. I know he has his weaknesses, but one thing is for sure, he is very concerned. He is not perfect - no one is - therefore, let's join hands and support him with our prayers. What is your name, age and state of Origin? I can predict it... fooooooooooooooooolish fool. Heaven help those who help themselves. |
