I just got a galaxy s7 edge duos, I have an Mtn sim that is 4G enabled, I inserted it into sim 1 port of the phone. Did all the mobile network setting, selected LTE/3G/2G option but the network sign keeps showing E. Sometimes the 4G will pop up and revert back to E. I have tried all I could but no success.
Your phone's network setting is on Auto (2G/3G/LTE). The strongest network in your location is the Edge (2G), that's why it's showing you E.

Download "4G LTE Switch" from Playstore and use it to select LTE only, let's see how it goes.

His case was different sire, he came posing as a pastor to them. Why now calling them gullible?
They will surely feel less of themselves for believing the man.
Now they will now see him as a politician and politician do tell lies.

The man is simply fake and getting it.
That doesn't mean he can't make his contribution to the change mantra.

My point is that people shouldn't expect him to be 100% truthful, but then, I don't think that makes him bad.

dEastActivist:
Going by what you've said.
Just have it in mind that the people that voted him thinking that he will stand for the truth BC he is a pastor will be highly disappointed.
Quite more embarrassing seeing him still mounting pulpits.
Well, everybody knows politicians tell lies, so this should not be new to them, except they are very gullible.

Were you expecting him not to compromise? He's part of the government you know, and yeah, the government tell lies. They always do.

It still baffles me that the VP will condescend so low to tell lies just to support his political party.

The VP as we all know is a Pastor and a well learned man.

But why tell lies when it is so obvioushuh??
Show me a politician that doesn't tell lies....

The moment he was picked for that post, I stopped seeing him as a Pastor, but a politician.

Bro, MT6595 uses PowerVR and not Mali.

Also, MT6595 uses Cortex-A17 and -A7, not A-53. It's the MT67** series that uses A53.

I know a lot of people don't bother about these details, but it's important to always put the correct details (do a lil more research when writing your posts).

Thanks, they are crazy. one would think that high end phones would support it but i guess their logic baffles me. will continue to use my spectranet. they can do whatever the like. Etisalat is showing 4g on my tecno sef
High end phones can support any band. It just depends on the market that phone is made for.

Most of these bands are specific to certain regions, that's why. You can hardly find a phone model that supports all bands.

Glo no just get chill at all.

U still need to calm down and read carefully instead of ranting. The picture clearly says g928l and 928G support band 28 and not g928F. Even if it eventually supports it, its not enough to call them scam, at least not yet. U just might be in a region without 4g signal.

But as it is right now, the specs from gsmarena says ur phone doesnt support band 28. Now I guess we know who is blind.
Epic!

U can hardly get 10mbps on any 3g network these days (which is the minimum required to download a file at 1MB/s). They have all throttled their speed ever since the slash in price and launch of 4g. Also getting 10mbps does not gurantee u will download a file at 1MB/s, it depends on the servers and bandwidth of the website u are downloading from and dont forget data loss from end to end too. With 4g at between 30-70mbps u are guaranteed a faster download. U can get the download done working 40 mins of everything remains normal.

If u are downloading a Windows update or iOS upgrade file and the servers are overloaded, even at 10mbps u might end up not downloading more than 150KB/s.
I'm just trying to correct the notion that you'll download 10GB in days.

If you're downloading from a server that won't allow you download at speeds more than 1MBps, even if you're using 5G, you won't exceed that speed.

I use Airtel, and I still get up to speeds of 1MBps depending on the location I am.

3g is good enough for browsing, instant messaging, social networking and downlaoding small files. Also u can stream with 3g at 240-360p provided u get up to 4mbps. But when u want to steam at HD, watch Netflix without buffer, stream live events with ease u need 4g. Have u ever had to download a single file of 10gb? On 3g it will take u a few days to downlaod. On 4g it will take about 1-3 hours depending on the speed.
On 3G, with speeds of 1MB/s and above - which you can get on any network with good coverage in your area - you can download 10GB in 3 hours.

Wow.. I must commend you guyz here
Read from page one through 4 and really learnt a lot

I just checked my phone specs again lol and I am just happy it supports most bands MTN, NTEL, GLO and most 4G LTE companies are offering

Below are the bands my phone supports
HUAWEI MATE 7

LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800), 28(700), 40(2300)

LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), 41(2500)

If there's anything additional thing I need to know please out me through.. I'd be glad to learn more

Tho I have a question
I am about purchasing a slim pocket friendly Smile 4G router - Unlocked
It is a good idea..? Compared to spectranet, swift.. ?
What variant of Huawei Mate 7 are you using?

This is for MT7-L09
LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800), 28(700), 40(2300)
While this is for MT7-TL10
LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), 41(2500)
This means that if your phone is the MT7-L09 (European version), your phone will support all networks. But if it's MT7-TL10, it won't support all.

You can check your phone variant by checking phone information under settings. Also, the MT7-L09 is single SIM, while the MT7-TL10 is dual SIM.

For the smile modem, since it is unlocked, you're absolutely safe, since you can use any 4G LTE enabled SIM on it.
