Sorry you still have to pay the 9410 even if you did capture in Lagos..just yesterday vfs called to make that payment, yet I did my biometrics in Lagos.. pls go ahead to pay the 9410, from experience.

Oh he definitely booked only the biometrics with your email...just forget the account, your email was never used. He used your email only for the vfs biometrics booking.

I have all my details including my IUC number, Application number etc but the password to the account is what I don’t have because he refused to disclose it to me. The user name did not appear ; probably he deleted it because he asked for my mail ID and password so he could also check for mails from IRCC.

He created the account with his mail or so because the very first mail I got was for biometrics appointment.

Or take a step of faith and do another one, matter of time before they finalize..just close eyes n do it, it's worth the risk...better than submitting new application. #JustmyOpinion

You're right..they might have approved his sowp, just hasn't been updated on the account. Happened to a close fri3nd. SP approved since June 2021 and already in Canada, still waiting for sowp till gcms revealed that it was approved since June 2021 too along with the SP.
So many things dey occur

I get you now. One thing i know for sure is since both applications were together there is likelihood that it has might be approved becos the sp was approved but the delay is from the fact that sowp is not really a priority now except for profession in the shortage list that is profession on high demand. I will advice u request for GCMS notes although there might not be anything in it from the VO contact the MP too to help follow up, and also keep sending webforms and emails. But I read something online about 2 weeks ago now that one of the ministers not trudeau for sure said that SOWP will be taking a year now. And since then the processing time has increased from 39weeks to 46weeks as at yesterday while visit visa moved from 171days to 102 days as at yesterday. Now I will urge u to look into applying for a visit although you need to have strong hometies to prove to the VO that u will return if your visit visa lapse even if your sowp processing is still on.

U lack understanding

Not as hard as you're describing it. Someone did it recently. And there was no issue. All u need do is inform Immigration officer at Canada border u Wana flagpole ,they'll direct you to the right place, and if it's not possible they'll tell you right away, obviously you still have you Visitor's permit or any other legal permit Valid.
Immigration officers will tell you what to do, so you're not gonna fall in any " no man's land" 1, 2 ,3 , 4 5 etc people have done it successfully. If you know anyone who was caught in no man's land, pls tell the person to come explain himself here, and no speculations.

Further to deepwater clarification, you would have exited canada before u can appear before US immigration to complete flagpoling.At that point,u are in what is called "no mans land" i.e u are not in canada anymore and neither are u in US

If US then denies u entry,the only option for u is to return to canada i.e if u still have valid papers for canada pr u apply fot entry to canada which can also be denied

If u are caught in this loop then they(not sure if its US or canada) would deport u to country on ur passport

Thats why flagpoling is trickish and its best to consult a Canadian immigration expert/lawyer before initiating such

My husbands Visitor's record will be 3 months on the 8th of March.
Eligibility started 24th of January and someone here said he got feedback one month and ten days after eligibility started, so I am hoping it's the same in our case.

My husband sent a message to five MPs, more of them in Ontario and not a single response from them. I also requested for GCM notes and it will be one month sometime this month, I hope I get some if not all the answers I want by then.

I just thank God for coming through for us. When we did the medical, i didnt upload cos i am always lazy to visit that site...it can be frustrating when it keeps sending you back to the first page. More over, i didnt know how to attach the documents until a mama here explained to me ( after a mouth). But fortunately, the medicals was already passed when i checked my account.
I applied for gcms note but eligibility was blank.
I contacted liana ( thanks so much) to help with how to contact them....i ended up not sending anything cos i didnt have any inspiration on what to type.
Around mid January,Hubby called to make enquiry but he wasnt attended to since he isn't a representative. I then filled a form to make him a rep. He was added and when he called, he didnt get a reasonable answer . He planed to call again after a week.
Then i was just going through my email on feb 11 i saw do not reply messages. And now, all i can say is thank God for keeping our minds together during the silent period( almost a year!)

referring to the hotels...dont be surprised that memorial isnt controlling the compulsory 3days quarantine at the Hotel, it's the Govenrment of Canada itself...YOU MUST stay in the hotel compulsorily for 3days

To send passport to VFS. Personally UPS is better than DHL... because, UPS would pick up once your passport is ready, but DHL would tell u they wont be notified when passport is ready, so who notifies UPS? From experience sha!

I received a message from vfs that my passport is ready for collection yesterday..this morning I got another message that my passport has been collected, then I tracked it on the vfs site and I saw this "tracking ID No. – Decision envelope has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, on vide courier partner. To track the status of the shipment, please visit courier partner website" I don't understand and I paid for two way courier via dhl.. people that used dhl I need ur response please

I got same reason in my 1st application, and STRESSED that my sponsor is the main SPONSOR,that he is contributing 100% to the trip...I never submitted a bank statement though, I just reapplied with same bank statement n MBS...rewrite your LOE and STATEMENT OF SUPPORT..it will end in praise

Good morning house. I am asking this question on behalf of someone. He applied for Visa late last year to study a post graduate Certificate but was denied because he had an ongoing masters program which he mentioned because he was almost done.

Now he wants to apply again next week with a letter of explanation that he will be done before his post graduate program starts. Going for a PGC is to get more knowledge on a particular aspect of his previous study. Please what are his chances?

he shouldn't have mentioned the Masters programme. Cos it's gon raise and eye brow.
