I have noticed that cornrows does not work for me. My hair breaks wen i detangle. So i just put it in a bun always |
ferhyntorlah: Ovems, thanks.U welcome. Pls let us know how it works and what has been working for u. |
ferhyntorlah: Ovems, please how manny times do you do the tea rinse in a month?I do it every wash day. Dat's maybe two or three times a week. |
My shedding has reduced drastically, i can even count the shed hair on my comb. I almost gave up on the stretch thinking it was'nt working for me, but decided to try black tea rinse, which i had done before, with little or no sucess. This time i boiled the black tea together with lemongrass leaves, nnchawu(basil) leaves and dried thyme together, left it to cool and poured it on my hair, then followed with a deep conditioner. With great results from dis, i mite go for 8months stretch. My hair is soo thick yet soft. And yes, oiling my newgrowth works too. Hope dis helps others too. |
Mr..Cork:olodo, na even mr cork sef. |
I'm back in cornrows again. I cowashed in it, moisturized and applied oil to seal the moisture in. I am so thinkin abt goin for a touch up. Not made up my mind yet. How is it goin for u guys? |
Adex097: Hahaha...if I wear that cloth komot for naija, I go kome house na.ked 4r sure.dat's if they don't kill u first, and collect ur skin as well.. Lolx |

I'v bin in cornrows for a while nw. I cowash and dc while stil in it, also do a protein treatment wit duotex protein condish. My hair tangled like sometin else wen i removed d braid to rebraid on monday, plus my dear sis used force wile combing 2 remove d tangles, my hair broke and i was'nt hapi, i'm aproachin bsl, nid no setback. Lesson learnt, no more keepin cornrows in for more than a week. |
i'm in. I'm currently 9wks post, and was actually tinkin abt stretchin my relaxer. I'd love 2 stretch for 6months, bt scared of severe breakage. I'l be in cornrows most of the time to avoid breakage and wear a wig, out. Wil come back with my regimen. |
@ Poster, please go and watch Fireproof. You will learn alot from that movie. |

I get really emotional when I watch some Bollywood movies like, Gazab, Aag Gala Lag Jaa, My Name Is Khan, Kabhi Kushi Kabbi Gham, Kal Hoo Naa Hoo, etc. I get angry whenever I mistakenly watch a nollywood movie. |
I saw this topic last month (I think on the 19th) and I was hoping that the moderators would take it to the front page cos people should be aware of this rare gift and assistance could reach the girl from any where. Please moderators, resurrect this thread and take it to the front page. Thanks. |
For those that can't go to a hotel, which I don't even think is necessary, just go to the NCCF family house and pass the night. You will be welcomed there and been in the midst of others will even help you with what to expect in camp and outside. You can ask questions and get accurate answers from present corpers. When the bus from Lagos or wherever, stops you at Wurukum in Makurdi, just take a bike from there to NCCF Family house at Ankpa Quaters, beside the state Inec office. The fare should not be more than 100naira. |
If the movie will be focused on the Government, whether local, state or federal, or the Sport (especially football) Federation, it will be a Comedy Series but if it focuses on the North, it will be a Horror Movie. |
ajelerowale: I mean do dey travel on sunday morninThey should. You can still go tomorrow to confirm but I don't think there's a transport service that don't work on Sundays. Just get there as early as 6am. |
ajelerowale] What about sunday service,do dey board at army barrack, plz i need your urgent reply
@ Ajelerowale, is sunday service a transport line? I only know of Pleasure Travels at Barracks. In Iddo, you will have variety of buses but if you live around Barracks, there's no need to get to Iddo. You will love it in Benue. |
For those of you living along Badagry express road, i.e from Mile 2 down to Badagry, if you can't get to iddo that early, you can get Pleasure Travels at Barracks, just opposite Army Barracks. The transport fare should be around 3500k to 4000k. When I left there in July last year, it was 3000k. Goodluck to you. Its a friendly and peaceful state and you will love it there. |
