Guess they still have a good relationship even after their divorce. This is how it should be, especially if they have kid between them. You don't have to be best friends but atleast be cordial.

Who doesn't know that she is wild before. The husband must have done something that really pained her and she has vowed to destroy his reputation. She should leave the internet and media and go somewhere to heal and take care of her son. Not putting things in the internet that the son will see someday and be disappointed.
CelebritiesRe: Tonto Dikeh Pulled Gun On Ex-husband Churchill’s Guard - Ghanaian Police (video) by Ovems(f): 9:47am On Mar 11, 2017
Didn't watch the video but haven't forgotten so how she was before she got married. She was very wild. Displace her craze on the Internet and doesn't care what anyone things. Now she cares that we hate her husband. I am in no way condoning domestic violence but these her accusations look somehow to me. Why is she revealing them in phases? First he cheated, then he gave her STD, next is a video that he was beating her. She is really out to destroy the man's reputation. Personally, I don't buy her acts. She is just out on a revenge mission.

Ovems:
Goodmorning everyone, thanks for all the information that has been shared on this thread. This is my first post here and I really need your advice. I have a 9months old son who hasn't slept for 3hour straight since birth. He always wakes up to breastfeed almost every hour. I am getting really exhausted. Maybe I caused it because I feel he does it out of habit sometimes but I don't know what to do to help him sleep longer. Please experienced mothers, will he learn to sleep longer on his own? Or how do I train him to do so. Sorry for my long post. I am just exhausted. Thanks.
Goodmorning Mamas. I made the earlier post in Nov 2016, would have been back to share the testimony after we made progress but my son was just falling my hand. Lol. Sometimes, we would have made a lot of progress and the next thing, I will notice that we had taken few steps back.
Well, now he is 13months old. He wakes up just once or twice. I give him water when he wakes up which is usually 4hours after he sleeps. But when he wakes up the second time, its breastmilk (which I intend to stop totally soon). The goodnews is he sleeps for 4hours straight but still doesn't sleep all through the night. We are getting there sha.
For those still going through something similar, I just ignored his request for breastmilk and offered water instead. He resisted and cried for loooong at first but with time, the cries reduced and he now looks for the water himself now and goes back to sleep on his own. Thank you all for your help especially Onegai, Zaynie, AlphaHandMaiden, helovesme. Really grateful.

The one that even gets me irritated is how they announce their split. As if they are craving for the attention. Must you 'remove' your husband name from your instagram immediately it gets tough? Can't they just leave and respect their own privacy? Its not as if the legal documents which is even more important would have changed. They just want to be on peoples mind.

We are in the same shoe o my sister, I have tried all the triable, this boy refused o, except BM at night. Planning to wean him this Dec, but how to go about it is my daily thought now.
It is well with us! I don't want to completely wean him yet as he is just 9months. I won't even mind feeding him once at night but not every hour. I tried the idea Onegai gave last night concerning the temperature/environment. And he slept for 3hours which is a very rare occurrence. We didn't have light last night and he really sweats a lot so we opened the window and curtain (we used to open just the window) and he slept for long. Will try it again tonight and hope for the best.

[quote author=helovesme post=51459552]Zaynie. Welcome back kiss kiss

Ovems. Pele. grin I can completely relate.

Thanks. Lol @ the gangster technique. I don't want to wean him yet, he is just 9months old. I will stop finally when he is a year +. I just want him to sleep longer or at most all through the night.
Congratz on your son finally sleeping all through the night. When I read to that point, I just felt this joy inside of me as if its my son that slept all through. Hope he is still sleeping all through.
The method I want to try is to abandon him and his father on the bed while I sleep elsewhere. When he wakes up, the father will give him water and put him back to sleep cos if I do it, it will be harder for him to go back without been fed. I pray it works.
Still tell me about the gangster method let me try that too if mine doesn't work.

Onegai:
He's not hungry, your nipples are pacifiers. Which is why I suggested giving him water, nothing interesting to suck on so he goes back to sleep. He will fight it.
Ok thanks. I will try giving him water. Infact, the daddy will do that because if I give him water, he will still be expecting to feed after the water. ( He was sleeping when I saw your reply and woke up a while ago so I gave him water, after he took it, he started pushing me ( his way of telling me he wants to feed when I am carrying him) and crying. So the dad will do the water thing. I just hope that after a week, thing will improve. Thanks for helping.

AlphaHandMaiden:
one more thing: if you have the energy - you can allow him play very well in the evening to tire him out.

my dd just started nursery and i have no idea what she does there but when she gets home she is super tired and its a mad dash to get her fed and bathed before the crankiness of sleep rears its head ( i practically have 1 hour or else there is trouble). when she does sleep...... she is like a log, i swear you can hold her up-side-down with one leg and she won't wake up. she be like person wey go run marathon!

just an option to think about.
I have tried this too but no matter how tired or full he is, after sleeping for 2hours at most, he wakes up to feed. A friend even suggested I feed him very close to his bed time that he will even sleep while eating. It didn't work. Hmmm! When he was younger, I thought he will start sleeping all through the night once he gets to 6months but here I am. Don't know whether he will change on his own ................ soon.

Thanks Onegai, Soonest, AlphaHandMaiden and Zaynie. I will try to give him water instead at night. When I tried it sometime ago, he refused to take it and woke up fully instead. I have also tried ignoring or cuddling him instead of feeding him and he just cried and became fully awake. I feed him well at night, but no matter how much he eats at night, he still wakes up. Will try with the water again and see how it goes. Thanks once again.
