Hello everyone, @Hotstepper, you came highly recommended for the kinda stuff i want to inquire about.
Wife and I both have US and Canadian visa. We had our first baby in US 2014 and want to know what the costs are like in Alberta canada. The hospital we used back then is so expensive now. What do you guys think?

Last month the man got to see the story and contacted me, cut story short, father and daughter were reunited.

Was expecting a little pecks from the man but nothing came, so I requested a little favor yesterday because I needed Cash to travel for a burial this weekend.

To my dismay after he asked me to send my Bank details and l did, i was ecpecting a bank alert when he later sent another message saying he can't help because he feels am trying to scam him. Like wtf??

I thought it was a joke but right now both him and the girl has blocked me from contacting them!

Words can't describe my current painment!!

Am still sourcing for alternative to fund my journey to the burial tomorrow!

Note! I met the young Lady in church during my service year and she never believed she could ever meet the man again.

*Am from the south south while they come from the south west

*I never asked for a gratitude despite the gravity of the work I did

*I was duped by several persons I met on social media who always claimed to knw the man, even some persons here on Nl tried to take advantage

*I used my meagre allawee to buy sub ,promote and sponsor the story on various online platforms

*I have never received anything from the man since he reunited with his daughter, all I got was a "Thank u

Let me get this straight, why do you feel you are entitled to get something back? It's very common with youth these days especially south south youths. It's absurd. Don't feel entitled to some kinda reward cos you helped someone(which was noble)

Calm down and schedule your interview appointment. Go with all payment receipts for your first childbirth. My wife went through the same thing last year. Hope you didn't use Medicaid?

For one paying passenger, it's usually 2 check-in baggage not exceeding 23kg each (Delta and KLM). ..varies with airlines though.

United, Lufthansa and BA also take 2 bags each of 23kg

I remember viewing the status of my Canadian visa application online for a whole one month, all I saw was "reviewing documents" to me, that wasn't a VO doing guess work, they do know what they are paid to do.

So missionary journey finally complete (I already posted my POE story). Been wanting to post this but I kept postponing.

So I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl in nov in Colorado. Hospital costs:
2day vaginal delivery stay: 2300
Doctor: 2190 (but I got refunded 230 for some reason, no complaints here!)
For anesthetiser awon oloriburuku people. I didn’t take epidural o! During labour one of the nurses offered me Nitrus oxide to help with the pain and I said fine, I was even pretty out of it sef cos I can’t remember. Apparently the anestheologist came in for like 5mins and left. Only for me to get a bill from them like three weeks after of $2000!! If I took epidural at least I will know I gained something, nitrus oxide didn’t even do anything. I still felt all the pain. Anyways I fought well and btw guys most hospitals have patient care representatives they help with any issues you might have especially billing problems with external specialists. Try and find their details cos it was the babe that helped me cos she knew one of the doctors in the anestheologists’ office. I eventually paid $600 After plenty fight!
Before delivery I got admitted for high bp monitoring, got charged $535 after plenty haggling.
Tests: $500 ish

Got social security no three weeks after, applied for expited passport ($165)in Philly and got it same day. Applied for visa on arrival and got a response two days later. Paid $280 for baby’s Ticket for virgin atlantic, also apparently it was cheaper for me to get it there than in Naija.

I’m so thankful for this forum cos I got all the info I needed here.

Welcome back ma'am. Can you share the hospital and doctor name you used in Denver? Our first baby was had at MoBap in 2014 and I spent about $7k, now it's about $15k and that's crazy.

I need to compare cost right now, wife is due in Oct but will be leaving in August.

I just linked my paper application to an online I account I created today

Information on the online account was they were still processing the visa and doing background checks

Well, this may not also be true. Had about N1.7M balance when I applied to travel with my wife and kid but with a higher inflow of over 5M on one account and another in and out of over 7M in the second account over a 4month period. My point being?

I want to visit Canada with my family ( me, wife, a son and a daughter ) through online application route and please my question is how do i fill the form, I mean will i fill 4 separate form online like that of US application or will I fill one form for the whole family online. Again my daughter is a US passport holder and will be happy if someone will assist with list of documents needed. We have travel history like US and Paris. Please someone should help

For your daughter that's a US citizen, she does not have to be included but there is a space in your main application form where you are to mention your immediate family dependents. You are the primary applicant and your wife and boy, secondary.

Do you have a relation inviting you over?
