Chenge, a native of Benue State in Nigeria, will challenge Lamar Smith for the ticket under the Republican Party.
Austin Chenge, according to a statement by Abdul-Rahman Balogun, Head of Media and Public Relations unit, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, the 34-year-old is popular locally for designing the tricycle known as Wazobia in 2016 aimed to improve the lives of peasant farmers all over Africa.
The statement said Chenge announced his intention to run for governor of Michigan in March 2020, making him the first Republican to do so.
“Chenge is a Law graduate from the University of Birmingham, England. Since the year 2018, he has been serving with the US military as a specialist.

The Youth Forum of our prestigious town (ITELE AWORI), pressed forward on the Courtesy visit to some key stakeholders in the community in the restructuring of peace and massive growth and development with great passion and enthusiastic confidence in changing the narratives of the community.
On the 16th February,2021 the representatives of the youth arrived at the office of the Divisional police officer situated at ITELE AWORI Community at exactly 12:05pm and the S.O (Officer Niran) welcomed the youth with high level of honor and dignity. After waiting for few minutes at the reception, the youth were ordered in to the office of the Divisional police officer (DPO) and the team was led by Cmr, Waheed Nurudeen Oluwaseun pka MC OSEUN in the absence of the president and vice president, he moderated the visit with the following orders; Introduction Purpose of visit Youth request and challenges on security Remarks from the DPO Vote of thanks Group photographs.
The General Secretary of the Forum commenced the session with an opening remarks and the introduction was done by all with their names and compound name in the ITELE AWORI. He pressed forward to articulated the purpose of the visit which is basically on formal introduction and familarization of the youth Forum to the Divisional headquarter and to discussed the security challenges of the entire Communities. He added the vision and the mission of the youth forum which are restoring peace back to the town, political development, economic growth and among others.
After much deliberation from the youth Representatives, the Divisional police officer (DPO) in person of CSP UNIGBE MONDAY expressed his magnanimous appreciation and commended the brilliant initiative of the youth and he enumerated the support given to in by the community when he was petition during the con-vid19 lockdown with massive turnout he received from the community stakeholders and residents of our prestigious town (ITELE AWORI).
He advised the youth forum on the need to work in collaboration with division to have a strong security team for the community and he requested for the youth support in achieving a peaceful Community with law abiding heart, the DPO also used the moment to highlighted the challenges faced by the division which served as hindrances to security development of the town.
He send his Goodwil messages to the entire youth and he gave rapt assurance to support the youth in their programs and activities alongside with maximum security for the astral town (ITELE AWORI).

wwwihy: A Nigerian entrepreneur and a Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 honoree Obinwanne Okeke has been sentenced to a 10-year jail term for computer and wire fraud by an American court.
Popularly known as Invictus Obi, Okeke was found guilty of causing approximately $11 million in known losses to his victims between 2015 and 2019.
He had earlier pleaded guilty to the crimes in June.
“Through subterfuge and impersonation, Obinwanne Okeke engaged in a multi-year global business email and computer hacking scheme that caused a staggering $11 million in losses to his victims,” said Raj Parekh, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
“Today’s sentence further demonstrates EDVA’s and FBI’s worldwide reach in vigorously pursuing justice on behalf of American victims and others and holding international cybercriminals accountable, no matter where they commit their crimes.”
Okeke, the founder of Invictus Group, has a degree in International Studies and Forensic Criminology and Masters of International Relations and Counter-Terrorism Studies from Monash University in Australia, according to his official profile.
Okeke was named on the Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30 For 2016 and was featured on the magazine’s June 2016 cover. A year later, CNBCA named Okeke as a finalist for Young Business Leader of the Year (West Africa).
He was featured regularly in Nigerian and international media. Okeke also earned high praises from Nigerian politicians.
His Invictus Group claims to have investments in oil and gas, construction, energy solutions, technology and agriculture.
s part of the scheme, 33-year old Okeke and other conspirators engaged in an email compromise scheme targeting Unatrac Holding Limited, the export sales office for Caterpillar heavy industrial and farm equipment. In April 2018, a Unatrac executive fell prey to a phishing email that allowed conspirators to capture login credentials.
The conspirators sent fraudulent wire transfer requests and attached fake invoices. Okeke participated in the effort to victimize Unatrac through fraudulent wire transfers totaling nearly $11 million, which was transferred overseas.
Additionally, Okeke engaged in other forms of cyberfraud, including sending phishing emails to capture email credentials, creating fraudulent web pages, and causing other losses to numerous victims.
“The FBI will not allow cyber criminals free reign in the digital world to prey on U.S. companies,” said Brian Dugan, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Norfolk Field Office. “This sentencing demonstrates the FBI’s commitment to working with our partners at the Department of Justice and our foreign counterparts to locate cyber criminals across the globe and bring them to the United States to be held accountable.”
Raj Parekh, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, and Brian Dugan, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Norfolk Field Office, made the announcement after sentencing by Chief U.S. District Judge Rebecca Beach Smith.
Sufisunni: Minister of Defence, Major General (rtd) Bashir Magashi, has asked Nigerians to summon courage and stand up to the gunmen wreaking havoc across the country.
Speaking with newsmen on the sideline of the screening of Service Chiefs by the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Magashi described those who abducted staff and students of a secondary school in Kagara community in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, as cowards. Anyways here is my little story, I am Fed up and afraid, afraid of the loved ones I will be leaving behind, afraid of the afterlife (if it really exists), afraid I have failed alot of people.
It is easier to commit suicide, anyone can do it, but it's selfish not to consider those you leave behind when they see your body, so the beat thing is to jump into the water with heavy objects tied to your arm and feet so you can sink in forever never to be found, just leave a letter telling everyone you have gone to Italy and will be back, atleast it's better than jumping into a moving car!!

IJOBA11: A senior official with Kano Hisbah has been arrested in the northern commercial hub after being caught with a married woman in a hotel.
Freedom Radio Kano reported on Tuesday that the official was arrest in Sabon Gari area of the city. His name was not immediately mentioned, but he was described only as police chief when the matter featured on Freedom FM’s popular magazine programme “Inda Ranka”.
The arrested commander is said to be in charge of arresting beggars and prostitutes in Kano metro area. He was taken into custody after the husband of the woman with whom he allegedly had affairs filed complaints.
Kano Hisbah Commander Muhammed Haruna, while describing the incident as unfortunate, said a two-man committee has been established to investigate the matter, Freedom Radio said.
Hisbah officers regularly arrest unmarried people caught in the hotel, presumably for sexual activities, as part of their enforcement of the Sharia.
