Nigeria is so business unfriendly in all ways, I am one of the victims of Apapa Tin Can exploits. My 40 feets container got to port and was been delayed for inspection until it goes into demurage. Paid 78k for demurage 91k for terminal and finally the useless haulage company knew is about time for june 12 charged me 230k just to move to nearby warehouse..
I will never do container again. Nigerian government is out to frustrate young business minded people this exclude bribe collected by the custom officer for inspection 250k outside the duty of 2.450m earlier paid

The first thing am going to do is creating a data base for every citizen with social security number that will be permanent that will link bank account ,properties,academics and other.
This will help in planing infrastructure
Cut elextricity supply to foreign country ensure24 house supply to the citizen, allows solar companys to thrive hence diversifying the market for light consumers.. If light is stable all businesses survived foreign investors will be attarcted .3. Build jail and encourages all local council to build detention centres that can hold offenders pending trials.
4. Computerized policing system and training. I will encourage all businesses to have cctv, homes , highways and other strategic places to make police job easier to curtail arrest by error.

I am not against an outfit ready to mopped out crime and atrocities our the society but evidence based on recent theatrical appearance at the public hearing in Ekiti state by one of the commandant shows it will die a natural death. The south west governors should knows that setting an outfit of this nature requires paying attention to details by calling for contributions from people both within and outside the country.
Firstly, before you starts thinking of safety and protection of community or region, set Penal code and other statutes, give enough public enlightment to sensitize them of the rules and regulations and the fines.
Detention Centre: Do you want to kill the people you arrest without fair trial? The so called Amotekun will go on the street arresting suspect to be detained, you guys have to starts building detention centers in all local governments where they will be held until found guilty by the court.
Detention centre will create minimum of 200 jobs in each local government depending on the size and offenders accomodated. Can you imagine Oyo state adding 500 x 33 workforce without stress. And so for other state.
Lawyer/Public defenders get to be on increase and more active.
Amotekun or police do not determine who gets bond or discharge, they are only arresting officer responsible for tracking down people engaging in illegal activities, trqnsport such person to a detention centre then charge to court to determine his bond before his court date to be sentence.
Probation officers: There should be orientation/ institution for who should be a probation officer and adequate training ] because not all detainees will go to jail
Offende Management Service: This is to track inmate reguesting monitoring be it for alcohol or criminal charges.
Working Court system:The judiciary team should be more effective and formidable judge with good records not partial uphoding the rule of law.
Nobody is above the law: The Amotekun system is beyond the governors, judge, uniform personnel or whoever hence should be ready to see those law makers at the back in handcuffed with no respect to status and personality.
Uniform: Decent uniform should be introduced not the archaic Abija or Babalawo style worn in Ekiti for display.
The stakeholders in Yoruba land should take note.
