You are very wrong,my friend. Russia and China are currently conducted trade deal in their national currencies.

investigator007:
I have been seeing on Nairaland how people start up their own fish farming or snail farming to inspire others.

So here is mine

It`s no longer news that we have been encouraged to diversify and look away from oil, and with the scarcity of jobs and even the way those who have a job are being laid off, I decided to give myself and others job. What did I eventually come up with? A breakfast cereal used for making porridge (pap or ogi or akamu)

I'm going to explain how I started mine.

First I learnt how to make the cereal (composition And the process). Then I proceeded to go into the different markets to purchase the different cereals.

unlike the normal cereal we have in the market (I won't call names) that is made up of only maize or some who are kind enough would add soya to the maize and sometimes sugar.

this cereal is made up of highly nutritious components and is rich in iron and fiber contents. Namely:

wheat, millet, Groundnut, Fonio, Tiger nut, E.coracana (Finger millet), Guinea corn, Special white rice & ginger etc.

It is very good for everyone from babies, to children to adults even up to the elderly.

instead of buying pap in the market that has been open and house flies most times perching on it and doing parade, I decided to bring something that is very hygienic and well covered.

It is good for everyone.

I am not saying it cures diabetes or arthritis or ulcer patients, (cause it has not been proven to do that) but it is very good for people suffering from arthritis, ulcer, HBP etc especially when you take the cereal while taking your drugs as prescribed.

it also helps to burn fat and also add weight..

Contradicting right?? Nah!!!!

What I mean is it helps to burn fat for those who are overweight and adds body weight to those who are underweight... Strange but true.

For children and babies, they'll love it very well cos the taste and aroma is second to none.

And for those who need fresh skin? Hmmmm!!! You need to take a look at my skin to confirm it. Those who have met me in person can attest to that

Follow me as I show the process how I packaged it and how to prepare it.

Find below pics of the various components.

Millet
Guinea corn
Tiger nut
Ginger
Please I 'd like to buy your product. Where is your location?
Do you deliver?

Business › Re: Huge Revelations Made By Aliko DANGOTE At Economist Summit In Lagos by owagbeba: 12:26pm On Mar 08, 2016
I think we need more Dangotes in Nigeria. It's similar to South Korean "chaebol" policy that favored a few industrialist and made them so instrumental in developing South Korean economy.

South Korea's economy was small and
predominantly agricultural well into the mid-20th century. However, the policies of President Park Chung Hee spurred rapid industrialization by promoting large businesses, following his seizure of power in 1961. The First Five Year Economic Plan [2] by the government set industrial policy toward new investment, and the chaebol were to be guaranteed loans from the banking sector. The chaebol played a key role in developing new industries, markets, and export production, helping place South Korea as one of the Four Asian Tigers.

Today those chaebols are world leaders in technology: LG, SAMSUNG, HYUNDAI, DAEWOO, DOOSAN, HANJIN ETC..

I really have to admit at this point that we are all hypocrites. Everyone is expressing sadness at the sight of this young lady brutally murdered. Yet we still PROMULGATE the belief system that is feeding this sort of act in this modern age. We have shrines around us, native doctors, idol worshipper, weird churches etc. Has there been any campaign to abolish such places and their beliefs? No!! Is there a law in Nigeria against such worship and practice..no! Go around the city and rural areas, there are many of these shrines; and we know they are the ones fueling this sort of brutal murder.

Tell me, how does a body organ translate to power or money? It's beyond chemistry!

I support every policy that will stop Naira from becoming toilet rolls, our leaders mad crave for foreign luxury is the reason for the state of Naira.
Norway is expected to make a net withdrawal from its sovereign wealth fund this year for the first time since the SWF was set up, to help pay for tax cuts designed to stimulate the economy. Its $830 billion fund is the world's largest, holding about 1.3 percent of global stocks.
People like us are called fools and illiterates whenever we tell Nigerians to vote for credible leaders imagine this nonsense, as far back as 2013 when oil price was at its peak " the report by BGL Securities Limited revealed that while Norway, the country with the single largest SWF of $737.2 billion, has daily oil production of 1.92 million barrels per day (bpd); Saudi Arabia with $657.9 billion has 11.55 million bpd production; United Arab Emirates (UAE) with $627 billion has 3.21 million bpd production and Kuwait with $386 billion produces 2.78 million bpd "

Furthermore, it showed that Algeria with $77.2 billion has 1.8 million bpd oil production while Nigeria with only $1 billion set aside for the SWF produces about 2.2 million bpd grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin, " absolute total rubbish.
If only Nigeria is blessed with visionary leaders, Nigeria would have managed to save as much as $120 billion as far back as 2013 and i want every sane mind reading this to imagine how much Nigerian would have as SWF with 10% interest rates as at today.
But what do we have?, " CHOP AND QUENCH SQUANDER MANIACS OR SHOULD I SAY PRODIGAL LEADERS ". it shall never be well with all of them.

Business › Re: CBN Halts Branch Operations By Bureaux De Change #Emefieleconomics by owagbeba: 7:10am On Dec 15, 2015
tiar:
Quick, simple and to the point.

1. The CBN is NOT meeting ALL legitimate requests for forex as it states it would into perpetuity.

2. This is forcing legitimate and illegitimate requests to meet their needs elsewhere, which has increased demand from BDCs in excess of their CBN allocation. The black market last resort meets the leftover rising demand at ever increasing prices to suppress demand and /or increase supply of dollars from those who may be hoarding it but hopefully can no longer resist the exchange rate.

3. The banks are also applying the black market rate for their customer dealings (sabotages the CBN's efforts) through foreign atm withdrawals and foreign currency online purchases. This increases the pressure to devalue , increases inflation and makes banks reluctant to meet legitimate requests from its retail customers. The desire to roundtrip and make 25% - 30% PROFIT by supplying their limited supply of dollars to the BDCs and black market instead of meeting direct customer demand is too alluring to resist. This is why only about 3 banks still meet request for PERSONAL Travel Allowance. Banks are not interested in supplying dollars at the official rate locally when they already pay out dollars to foreign banks at the black market rate.

Crisis is looming fast and the CBN governor may not survive it. He is playing Russian Roulette with the Naira and the economy indirectly. He is serving two Masters, the banks where he came from surreptitiously and trying to save his job by hopefully pleasing someone who did not appoint him .

People can still not make foreign currency cash deposits into their bank accounts. It has not helped the currency while destabilising people and their businesses.

I will leave it at that for now.
Hi. Please can you mention the banks that currently issuing the $4000 BTA?
I want to buy from them.
Thanks

Importers' conundrum
As an importer, I must say these policies are really hurting. There is no viable official source of foreign currency in this country. The banks' Form M and Form A are utter rubbish. Imagine it takes weeks, even months just to buy foreign currency from CBN via local banks.

Listen, I love Buhari. But I don't think this CBN chap knows what he is doing? He has clamped down on all "unofficial " avenues for us(importers) to buy foreign Exchange, and made NO provision for an official source for Forex.

Why can't the banks sell forex to us directly? I really don't understand why CBN does nothing about these banks round-tripping. Instead of these banks selling directly to businesses, they sell to street corner BDCs at a high rate.

How about the ATM cards? Withdrawal on these cards is down to 300$ a day. What it now means is I'd need about 20cards x 300$ draw on each card x 10days = 60,000$. Well, fair enough, my entry visa is valid for 30days. What about companies with invoices in hundreds of thousands dollars? How many cards will they need? Boy! That's tough!

Will it make sense taking my Naira across the border to Cotonou for CFA? And then change the CFA to Euro?... I don't know. But since there are so many free dealers at the border, I might make a lot of sense. Beside I feel it's better to hold onto CFA than the Naira at this moment. The naira in my account is loosing value when every passing policies by the chap in CBN.

Last resort, I think I'd have to raise prices to cushion the effect of 260:1$ exchange rate. But it's difficulty raising price at this current economic climate. Things are already difficult. If I can't raise price then alternative will be to reduce quality of the product to meet the people purchasing power. But poor product, although affordable, will affect my brand name. What the heck do I do?

Ah!!! Manufacturing! That's a good idea. But wait, I have had NO power supply in my area for the past 3 days, and there's fuel scarcity. How then do I go into manufacturing?

I give up!!!

igbonla:
The problem has never been with these policies but with the practitioners, one of the key reasons anything hardly works in Nigeria is because Nigerians always creatively devise the means to circumvent a good policy.
All CBN need no is to catch a couple of scapegoats (via investigating a couple of BVN purchasing forex from the BDCs), make them lose their deposits, throw them in jail and everybody gets the message.

The banks will also be crooked or are already crooked in the sale of forex, my application (backed with form A) for mortgage payment is in its 4th week with no end in sight. Why should mortgage payment be rocket science after submitting all the mortgage documents with some sensitive information! First 3 weeks has been stories of no forex, what are we supposed to do and why should legitimate transactions suffer due to bad supervision and management of the forex policy?

I wish the government well and pray for them to succeed but I want to be alive to reap the fruits of my prayers and wishes. Tossing us around is not good for our health.
Finally someone with an experience on this issue confirms what I already know about sourcing FX through banks and government. The Form A and M are rather a lengthy process. It takes weeks, if not months. And you are never sure when the FX will be ready. The banks are not very helpful either.

If the banks can sell electronic dollars to settle oversea invoices that would be great. Most of the business do not need cash dollars here. They all want to settle oversea company for services or goods. The banks can help them make remittances in dollars in exchange for Naira.

Right now, it's very difficult for me to get both e-dollars and cash dollars. A few weeks ago, some BDC helped me source e-dollars from SA into my dorm-account. Not cashable, only available for transfer to foreign company. That was helpful. But now at the rate of 266 for 1e-dollar... That's rather difficult for any import business. It definitely means cost of goods will rise.

(51) Britain’s spy agency has admitted (and see this) that it carries out “digital false flag” attacks on targets, framing people by writing offensive or unlawful material … and blaming it on the target.

(52) U.S. soldiers have admitted that if they kill innocent Iraqis and
Afghanis, they then “drop” automatic weapons near their body so they
can pretend they were militants

(53) Similarly, police frame innocent people for crimes they didn’t
commit. The practice is so well-known that the New York Times noted
in 1981: In police jargon, a throwdown is a weapon planted on a victim. Newsweek reported in 1999: Perez, himself a former [Los Angeles Police Department] cop, was
caught stealing eight pounds of cocaine from police evidence
lockers. After pleading guilty in September, he bargained for a
lighter sentence by telling an appalling story of attempted murder
and a “throwdown”–police slang for a weapon planted by cops to make a shooting legally justifiable. Perez said he and his partner, Officer Nino Durden, shot an unarmed 18th Street Gang member named Javier Ovando, then planted a semiautomatic rifle on the unconscious suspect and claimed that Ovando had tried to shoot them during a stakeout.

Wikipedia notes: As part of his plea bargain, Pérez implicated scores of officers from the Rampart Division’s anti-gang unit, describing routinely beating gang members, planting evidence on suspects, falsifying reports and covering up unprovoked shootings. (As a side note – and while not technically false flag attacks – police have been busted framing innocent people in many other ways, as well.)

(54) A former U.S. intelligence officer recently alleged: Most terrorists are false flag terrorists or are created by our own security services.

(55) The head and special agent in charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles
office said that most terror attacks are committed by the CIA and FBI as
false flags. Similarly, the director of the National Security Agency
under Ronald Reagan – Lt. General William Odom said: By any measure the US has long used terrorism. In ‘78-79 the
Senate was trying to pass a law against international terrorism – in
every version they produced, the lawyers said the US would be in
violation. (audio here).

(56) Leaders throughout history have acknowledged the “benefits” of of
false flags to justify their political agenda: “Terrorism is the best political weapon for nothing drives people harder than a fear of sudden death”.
– Adolph Hitler “Why of course the people don’t want war … But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a
simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy,
or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist
dictatorship … Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger.
It works the same in any country.”
– Hermann Goering, Nazi leader. “The easiest way to gain control of a population is to carry out acts of terror. [The public] will clamor for such laws if their personal security is threatened”.
– Josef Stalin

Postscript: Private parties – such as NBC News, as well as Muslims,
Jews, Scientologists, African-Americans and Neo-Nazis – play this
game as well.
Foreign Affairs › Re: History Of False-flags Ops Around The World. by owagbeba(op): 9:24am On Nov 15, 2015
(37) Similarly, in 2005, Professor John Arquilla of the Naval Postgraduate School – a renowned US defense analyst credited with developing the concept of ‘netwar’ – called for western intelligence services to create new “pseudo gang” terrorist groups, as a way of undermining “real” terror networks. According to Pulitzer-Prize
winning journalist Seymour Hersh, Arquilla’s ‘pseudo-gang’ strategy
was, Hersh reported, already being implemented by the Pentagon: “Under Rumsfeld’s new approach, I was told, US military operatives would be permitted to pose abroad as corrupt foreign businessmen seeking to buy contraband items that could be used in
nuclear-weapons systems. In some cases, according to the Pentagon advisers, local citizens could be recruited and asked to join up with guerrillas or terrorists… The new rules will enable the Special Forces community to set up what it calls ‘action teams’ in the target countries overseas which can be used to find and eliminate terrorist organizations. ‘Do you remember the right-wing execution squads in El Salvador?’ the
former high-level intelligence official asked me, referring to the military-led gangs that committed atrocities in the early nineteen-eighties. ‘We founded them and we financed them,’ he
said. ‘The objective now is to recruit locals in any area we want. And we aren’t going to tell Congress about it.’ A former military officer, who has knowledge of the Pentagon’s
commando capabilities, said, ‘We’re going to be riding with the
bad boys.’”

(38) United Press International reported in June 2005: U.S. intelligence officers are reporting that some of the insurgents in Iraq are using recent-model Beretta 92 pistols, but the pistols seem to have had their serial numbers erased. The numbers do not appear to have been physically removed; the pistols seem to have
come off a production line without any serial numbers. Analysts suggest the lack of serial numbers indicates that the weapons were intended for intelligence operations or terrorist cells with substantial government backing. Analysts speculate that these guns
are probably from either Mossad or the CIA. Analysts speculate that agent provocateurs may be using the untraceable weapons even as U.S. authorities use insurgent attacks against civilians as evidence of the illegitimacy of the resistance.

(39) Undercover Israeli soldiers admitted in 2005 to throwing stones at
other Israeli soldiers so they could blame it on Palestinians, as an
excuse to crack down on peaceful protests by the Palestinians.

(40) Quebec police admitted that, in 2007, thugs carrying rocks to a
peaceful protest were actually undercover Quebec police officers (and
see this).

(41) A 2008 US Army special operations field manual recommends that the U.S. military use surrogate non-state groups such as “paramilitary
forces, individuals, businesses, foreign political organizations, resistant
or insurgent organizations, expatriates, transnational terrorism adversaries, disillusioned transnational terrorism members, black marketers, and other social or political ‘undesirables.’” The manual specifically acknowledged that U.S. special operations can involve both
counterterrorism and “Terrorism” (as well as “transnational criminal
activities, including narco-trafficking, illicit arms-dealing, and illegal
financial transactions.”)

(42) The former head of Secret Services and Head of State of Italy
(Francesco Cossiga) advised the 2008 minister in charge of the police,
on how to deal with protests from teachers and students: He should do what I did when I was Minister of the Interior …infiltrate the movement with agents provocateurs inclined to do
anything …. And after that, with the strength of the gained population consent, … beat them for blood and beat for blood also those teachers that incite them. Especially the teachers. Not the elderly, of course, but the girl teachers yes.

(43) At the G20 protests in London in 2009, a British member of
parliament saw plain clothes police officers attempting to incite the
crowd to violence.

(44) Egyptian politicians admitted (and see this) that government
employees looted priceless museum artifacts in 2011 to try to discredit
the protesters.

(45) Rioters who discredited the peaceful protests against the swearing
in of the Mexican president in 2012 admitted that they were paid 300
pesos each to destroy everything in their path. According to Wikipedia,
photos also show the vandals waiting in groups behind police lines prior
to the violence.

(46) A Colombian army colonel has admitted that his unit murdered 57
civilians, then dressed them in uniforms and claimed they were rebels
killed in combat.

(47) On November 20, 2014, Mexican agent provocateurs were transported by army vehicles to participate in the 2014 Iguala mass kidnapping protests, as was shown by videos and pictures distributed via social networks.

(48) The highly-respected writer for the Telegraph Ambrose Evans-
Pritchard says that the head of Saudi intelligence – Prince Bandar –
recently admitted that the Saudi government controls “Chechen”
terrorists.

(49) High-level American sources admitted that the Turkish government – a fellow NATO country – carried out the chemical weapons attacks blamed on the Syrian government; and high-ranking Turkish government admitted on tape plans to carry out attacks and
blame it on the Syrian government.

(50) The Ukrainian security chief admits that the sniper attacks which
started the Ukrainian coup were carried out in order to frame others.
Ukrainian officials admit that the Ukrainian snipers fired on both sides,

(28) Senior Russian Senior military and intelligence officers admit that
the KGB blew up Russian apartment buildings in 1999 and falsely blamed it on Chechens, in order to justify an invasion of Chechnya (and see this report and this discussion).

(29) As reported by BBC, the New York Times, and Associated Press,
Macedonian officials admit that the government murdered 7 innocent
immigrants in cold blood and pretended that they were Al Qaeda
soldiers attempting to assassinate Macedonian police, in order to join
the “war on terror”.

(30) At the July 2001 G8 Summit in Genoa, Italy, black-clad thugs
were videotaped getting out of police cars, and were seen by an Italian
MP carrying “iron bars inside the police station”. Subsequently, senior
police officials in Genoa subsequently admitted that police planted two
Molotov cocktails and faked the stabbing of a police officer at the G8
Summit, in order to justify a violent crackdown against protesters.

(31) The U.S. falsely blamed Iraq for playing a role in the 9/11 attacks –
as shown by a memo from the defense secretary – as one of the main
justifications for launching the Iraq war. Even after the 9/11 Commission admitted that there was no connection, Dick Cheney said
that the evidence is “overwhelming” that al Qaeda had a relationship
with Saddam Hussein’s regime, that Cheney “probably” had information unavailable to the Commission, and that the media was not ‘doing their homework’ in reporting such ties. Top U.S. government officials now admit that the Iraq war was really launched for oil … not 9/11 or weapons of mass destruction. Despite previous “lone wolf” claims, many U.S. government officials now say that 9/11 was state-
sponsored terror; but Iraq was not the state which backed the hijackers. (Many U.S. officials have alleged that 9/11 was a false flag operation by
rogue elements of the U.S. government; but such a claim is beyond the scope of this discussion. The key point is that the U.S. falsely blamed it on Iraq, when it knew Iraq had nothing to do with it.).

(32) Although the FBI now admits that the 2001 anthrax attacks were
carried out by one or more U.S. government scientists, a senior FBI
official says that the FBI was actually told to blame the Anthrax attacks on Al Qaeda by White House officials (remember what the anthrax
letters looked like). Government officials also confirm that the white
House tried to link the anthrax to Iraq as a justification for regime
change in that country.

(33) According to the Washington Post, Indonesian police admit that
the Indonesian military killed American teachers in Papua in 2002 and blamed the murders on a Papuan separatist group in order to get that group listed as a terrorist organization.

(34) The well-respected former Indonesian president also admits that
the government probably had a role in the Bali bombings.

(35) Police outside of a 2003 European Union summit in Greece were filmed planting Molotov cocktails on a peaceful protester

(36) Former Department of Justice lawyer John Yoo suggested in 2005
that the US should go on the offensive against al-Qaeda, having “our
intelligence agencies create a false terrorist organization. It could have its own websites, recruitment centers, training camps, and fundraising operations. It could launch fake terrorist operations and claim credit for real terrorist strikes, helping to sow confusion within al-Qaeda’s ranks, causing operatives to doubt others’ identities and to question the validity of communications.”

(11) The former Italian Prime Minister, an Italian judge, and the former
head of Italian counterintelligence admit that NATO, with the help of
the Pentagon and CIA, carried out terror bombings in Italy and other
European countries in the 1950s and blamed the communists, in order to
rally people’s support for their governments in Europe in their fight
against communism. As one participant in this formerly-secret program stated: “You had to attack civilians, people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The
reason was quite simple. They were supposed to force these people, the
Italian public, to turn to the state to ask for greater security” (and see
this) (Italy and other European countries subject to the terror campaign had joined NATO before the bombings occurred). And watch this BBC special. They also allegedly carried out terror attacks in France,
Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway,
Portugal, the UK, and other countries. False flag attacks carried out pursuant to this program include – by way
of example only: The murder of the Turkish Prime Minister (1960) Bombings in Portugal (1966) The Piazza Fontana massacre in Italy (1969) Terror attacks in Turkey (1971) The Peteano bombing in Italy (1972) Shootings in Brescia, Italy and a bombing on an Italian train (1974) Shootings in Istanbul, Turkey (1977) The Atocha massacre in Madrid, Spain (1977) The abduction and murder of the Italian Prime Minister (1978) The bombing of the Bologna railway station in Italy (1980) Shooting and killing 28 shoppers in Brabant county, Belgium (1985)

(12) In 1960, American Senator George Smathers suggested that the

(13) Official State Department documents show that, in 1961, the hea of the Joint Chiefs and other high-level officials discussed blowing up a

(14) As admitted by the U.S. government, recently declassified

(15) In 1963, the U.S. Department of Defense wrote a paper promoting
attacks on nations within the Organization of American States – such a Trinidad-Tobago or Jamaica – and then falsely blaming them on Cuba.

(16) The U.S. Department of Defense even suggested covertly paying a
person in the Castro government to attack the United States: “The only
area remaining for consideration then would be to bribe one of Castro’s
subordinate commanders to initiate an attack on Guantanamo.”

(17) The NSA admits that it lied about what really happened in the Gulf
of Tonkin incident in 1964 … manipulating data to make it look like
North Vietnamese boats fired on a U.S. ship so as to create a false
justification for the Vietnam war.

(18) A U.S. Congressional committee admitted that – as part of its
“Cointelpro” campaign – the FBI had used many provocateurs in the
1950s through 1970s to carry out violent acts and falsely blame them on
political activists.

(19) A top Turkish general admitted that Turkish forces burned down a
mosque on Cyprus in the 1970s and blamed it on their enemy. He
explained: “In Special War, certain acts of sabotage are staged and blamed on the enemy to increase public resistance. We did this on Cyprus; we even burnt down a mosque.” In response to the surprised
correspondent’s incredulous look the general said, “I am giving an
example”.

(20) A declassified 1973 CIA document reveals a program to train
foreign police and troops on how to make booby traps, pretending that
they were training them on how to investigate terrorist acts: The Agency maintains liaison in varying degrees with foreign police/security organizations through its field stations …. [CIA provides training sessions as follows:]
a. Providing trainees with basic knowledge in the uses of commercial and military demolitions and incendiaries as they may be applied in terrorism and industrial sabotage operations.
b. Introducing the trainees to commercially available materials and home laboratory techniques, likely to he used in the manufacture of explosives and incendiaries by terrorists o saboteurs.
c. Familiarizing the trainees with the concept of target analysis and operational planning that a saboteur or terrorist must employ.
d. Introducing the trainees to booby trapping devices an techniques giving practical experience with both manufactured and improvised devices through actual fabrication. *** The program provides the trainees with ample opportunity to develop basic familiarity and use proficiently through
handling, preparing and applying the various explosiv charges, incendiary agents, terrorist devices and sabotage
techniques.

(21) The German government admitted (and see this) that, in 1978, the German secret service detonated a bomb in the outer wall of a prison
and planted “escape tools” on a prisoner – a member of the Red Army
Faction – which the secret service wished to frame the bombing on.

(22) A Mossad agent admits that, in 1984, Mossad planted a radio
transmitter in Gaddaffi’s compound in Tripoli, Libya which broadcast
fake terrorist trasmissions recorded by Mossad, in order to frame
Gaddaffi as a terrorist supporter. Ronald Reagan bombed Libya
immediately thereafter.

(23) The South African Truth and Reconciliation Council found that, in
1989, the Civil Cooperation Bureau (a covert branch of the South
African Defense Force) approached an explosives expert and asked him
“to participate in an operation aimed at discrediting the ANC [the
African National Congress] by bombing the police vehicle of the
investigating officer into the murder incident”, thus framing the ANC for the bombing.

(24) An Algerian diplomat and several officers in the Algerian army
admit that, in the 1990s, the Algerian army frequently massacred
Algerian civilians and then blamed Islamic militants for the killings
(and see this video; and Agence France-Presse, 9/27/2002, French Court Dismisses Algerian Defamation Suit Against Author).

(25) The United States Army’s 1994 publication Special Forces Foreign Internal Defense Tactics Techniques and Procedures for Special Forces – updated in 2004 – recommends employing terrorists and using false
flag operations to destabilize leftist regimes in Latin America. False
flag terrorist attacks were carried out in Latin America and other
regions as part of the CIA’s “Dirty Wars“. And see this.

(26) Similarly, a CIA “psychological operations” manual prepared by a
CIA contractor for the Nicaraguan Contra rebels noted the value of
assassinating someone on your own side to create a “martyr” for the
cause. The manual was authenticated by the U.S. government. The
manual received so much publicity from Associated Press, Washington
Post and other news coverage that – during the 1984 presidential debate – President Reagan was confronted with the following question o national television: At this moment, we are confronted with the extraordinary story of a CIA guerrilla manual for the anti-Sandinista contras whom we
are backing, which advocates not only assassinations oSandinista but the hiring of criminals to assassinate the guerrillas we are supporting in order to create martyrs.

(27) An Indonesian fact-finding team investigated violent riots which
occurred in 1998, and determined that “elements of the military had
been involved in the riots, some of which were deliberately provoked”. (28) Senior Russian Senior military and intelligence officers admit that
the KGB blew up Russian apartment buildings in 1999 and falsely
blamed it on Chechens, in order to justify an invasion of Chechnya (and
see this report and this discussion).
Foreign Affairs › History Of False-flags Ops Around The World. by owagbeba(op): 9:05am On Nov 15, 2015
Here's a list of false-flag operations carried out by states on its citizens, and on other states. Many states have used these ops to create a justification for an arrest, war, and/or regime change; Some time to sway public opinion and votes.
With the events in Paris, let's be mindful of this history and stay vigilant. Governments can not be trusted.

(1) Japanese troops set off a small explosion on a train track in 1931,
and falsely blamed it on China in order to justify an invasion of Manchuria. This is known as the “Mukden Incident” or the “Manchurian Incident”. The Tokyo International Military Tribunal found: “Several of the participators in the plan, including Hashimoto [a high-ranking Japanese army officer], have on various occasions admitted their part in the plot and have stated that the object of the ‘Incident’ was to afford an excuse for the occupation of Manchuria by the Kwantung Army ….” And see this.

(2) A major with the Nazi SS admitted at the Nuremberg trials that – under orders from the chief of the Gestapo – he and some other Nazi operatives faked attacks on their own people and resources which they blamed on the Poles, to justify the invasion of Poland.

(3) Nazi general Franz Halder also testified at the Nuremberg trials that
Nazi leader Hermann Goering admitted to setting fire to the German parliament building in 1933, and then falsely blaming the communists
for the arson.

(4) Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev admitted in writing that the Soviet
Union’s Red Army shelled the Russian village of Mainila in 1939 – while blaming the attack on Finland – as a basis for launching the “Winter War” against Finland. Russian president Boris Yeltsin agreed that Russia had been the aggressor in the Winter War.

(5) The Russian Parliament, current Russian president Putin and former
Soviet leader Gorbachev all admit that Soviet leader Joseph Stalin ordered his secret police to execute 22,000 Polish army officers and civilians in 1940, and then falsely blamed it on the Nazis.

(6) The British government admits that – between 1946 and 1948 – it
bombed 5 ships carrying Jews attempting to flee the Holocaust to seek safety in Palestine, set up a fake group called “Defenders of Arab Palestine”, and then had the psuedo-group falsely claim responsibility
for the bombings (and see this, this and this).

(7) Israel admits that in 1954, an Israeli terrorist cell operating in Egypt
planted bombs in several buildings, including U.S. diplomatic facilities,
then left behind “evidence” implicating the Arabs as the culprits (one of the bombs detonated prematurely, allowing the Egyptians to identify the
bombers, and several of the Israelis later confessed) (and see this and
this).

(cool The CIA admits that it hired Iranians in the 1950′s to pose as
Communists and stage bombings in Iran in order to turn the country
against its democratically-elected prime minister. (9) The Turkish Prime Minister admitted that the Turkish government carried out the 1955 bombing on a Turkish consulate in Greece – also damaging the nearby birthplace of the founder of modern Turkey – and blamed it on Greece, for the purpose of inciting and justifying anti-Greek violence.

(10) The British Prime Minister admitted to his defense secretary that
he and American president Dwight Eisenhower approved a plan in 1957
to carry out attacks in Syria and blame it on the Syrian government as a way to effect regime change.

This plane couldn't have been shot down at cruising altitude. It may be pilot/technical error, engine failure or bomb explosion on board.

Those terrorists claiming they shot down the plane are just being silly. Manpad doesn't get upto that height. If it's a bomb on board, we'll know from the data and voice recorder.

I know the western media will jump at this terrorist angle of the story. All to make Russia look bad. Well, the sheeples will listen.

Foreign Affairs › "Syrian Air Strikes Should Be Solely Against Islamic State," French President by owagbeba(op): 11:24am On Oct 03, 2015
Interesting! Al -Nusra and Al Qaeda are no more terrorist groups in Syria?

The west are just hypocrites. Believe them at your own peril. Few years back their media -CNN, BBC etc., drowned us all with stories about horrific acts from these groups.

I'm beginning to think the conspiracy theorist are somewhat right when they say Bin Laden isn't dead and 911 was an inside job by the CIA. Many of 911 plotters are from Saudi. Currently, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are supporting these groups in Syria.

Bottom line, the West and her minions are pulling the strings on all these terrorist group. Tomorrow "ISIL is no more a Terrorist Group."

Hi Ngene, I'm surprised at this post; and I'm wondering if this is the real "NgeneUkwenu" or some phony bloke pretending to be you. I'm amazed at your support for T.A.Orji. This hell of a fellow is the worst nightmare for Abia state. He ran down the state, underdeveloped a whole section of the cities. Look at Aba for f@ck sake! Ariaria the main market is flooded. No proper waste disposal, GRA is a mess. The main thoroughfare leading into Aba is trashy. No infrastructure, no investment in the state. I don't know about Umuahia, but I guess it's the same poo everywhere in the state. Why support such an ignoble fellow?

How does this change the fact that Africans are wicked to themselves?

Why will a civil servant or governor embezzle for instance pension funds? Pocket allocations for buying malaria drugs? They will steal all the money they can lay their hands on and will not even give the people the very basic things they've been elected to.
Sorry to say but the Blackman has a big problem.
Bro, I feel your concern for this country. It pains me when I see the same mentality that has held us back on display on Nairaland. Read the comments of these fellows above. These are grown men who can not have a discourse without insulting one another. The same mentality here is what you see at our senate and house of rep; they hurl abuses and throw chairs at one another because they disagree.
What wrong in buttressing your arguments with convincing statements and facts?

Back to the issue of Nigeria, Do you think it's the high level of illiteracy and lack of proper education that may hindering our development? I reckon the lack of civility amongst a greater part of our populace may be due to this issue of illiteracy. Even some of those who have managed to go through tertiary schooling still come out with the same "agbero" mentality as that "alaye" in NuRtw uniform. The reason I point to illiteracy and improper education as the bane is from reading the history of the Asian tigers(south Korea). They reformed and developed their economy through mass-literacy programs. As of 2015, south Korea is rated as one the countries with the highest literacy in the world; even higher than USA.

Lastly we need MYTHBUSTERS in this country. There are just too many superstition we believe to our detriment: witches falling from the sky, witches causing car crash to suck blood, money ritual killings, etc..

For those who blame white rule for our underdevelopment, i'd like us to compare these two countries with a lot in common -Nigeria and South Korea.

Korea was ruled by the Japanese from 1910 to 1945. They gained independence in 1948, slightly earlier than us (Nigeria) in 1960. Like Nigeria, they bought a civil war, each side aided by major world powers from 1950 leading to an armistice in 1953. They had a military rule for an extended period of time.

Today, south korea without natural resources has garnered a GDP of 36,000 per capita. Even North Korea, with all the sanctions and economic blockage has managed some great technological feat. They can boost of an underground railway system, nuclear technology.

Now with the above, do we still believe white rule is the bane?

See below north Korean underground railway system.

so what are the solutions
I honestly think the solution should be a complete overhaul of both our belief and value system. we value big-belle, and hail them as chairman. But obesity is having a detrimental effect on our health. Stroke and hbp are big problems in this part of the world. We like our kids to look fat... Fat doesn't mean well-fed!

We believe praying for 24hrs will make God work. God has provided all that you require to work and have a good yield. Why bother Him more?

Someone would say corruption; Indonesia has more problem, or on the same par as Nigerian on the corruption index, but they have a more civilized and industrialized society than us. What happened to us?

We are very quick to justify a wrong. My fellow Nigerians, a wrong is a wrong! We worship the same crop of fools that have looted our commonwealth. We hail them Oga nla! But this same chairman has his boys at iyanoba forcing a 1000/day toll on your hardwork. The bus you are driving is yours. Road built and neglected by govt. why pay?

The OP is 100% right! I held this view even before I heard Nnamdi Kalu attacking black people.

There is something fundamentally wrong in the brain of a blackman.

This is not an African continent's problem alone. The problem is in the brain of a blackman anywhere you may found him.

1)Blacks in america are backwards by every indices.Infact black-to-black gang violence kill more blacks than anything else.

2)Blacks in Brasil are backwards

3)Blacks in Cuba are backwards

The list goes on and on... Anywhere u found him he is lacking behind.

Whitemen built SouthAfrica, but now blacks are in charge, there are severe power cut and corruption everywhere.

Blacks are lynching fellow blacks in south africa and looting their shops for silly reasons.Black wickedness is beyond me;can you imagine whites in street of london or berlin lynching east europeans for foolish reasons?

White people started slavery and it was whitemen that stopped it.
Hitler was white,it was whitepeople that stopped him.

Before now we were killing twins in Africa for thousands of years,it took a white brain to put an end to it.

There is something that is fundamentally wrong with us;I don't know if we were cursed.

THE TRUTH IS BITTER,BUT ITS ONLY THAT BITTER TRUTH THAT WILL SET US FREE!
I wouldn't say it's a Black-man issue. Judging from my experience living in South Africa and Nigeria; I feel it's our belief system in Nigeria that's bringing out the worst in us. How can we believe in witch doctors in this 21st century? Look around you, at road junctions you'll see clay pots; people making sacrifices to their gods. These are the same gods that urged us to kill twins, albino. The same god that couldn't fathom it was sickle cell killing our kids but rather called it abiko /ogbanje. Why would any god wanna eat hrash placed on a road side?

Imagine a country where people believe having s*x with a mad lady will bring riches. How in the world is that possible? Witches still fly in Nigeria? But yet we've not built a rocket engine. Last time I checked we are still importing toothpick. And we barely can convert our crude oil to petrol without outside help. Of what use are these "babalawo" that we believe in?

The educational system here feels like a waste of time. Of what use are our engineers and technicians? We aren't fabricating parts. We are not building power plants. We have thousands of professors, still it appears civilization is far.

I'm angry with Nigerians. I'm angry with our belief system. The system we have isn't working and will never work.
