Sorry folks, apparently the article has been moved. but the gist is clear.
A 200million Naira contract has reportedly been awarded to a company HUA, which is owned by Adedibu Children.
The same contract is said to have been awarded by the ipeached governor for 45millon Naira.

@ Idrissa
Idrisa:

Hello owo!

I do believe that you are aware of the conflict between some learned men and the clergy men that preached the bible in Rome. A particular case of reference is that of Galileo. The mistake definitely did not come from God but the devils. GOD NEVER MAKES MISTAKE.

I do believe you know about the conflict between some learned journalists and some Imams/fundamentalists. The conflicts never came from God but from the devils because the Imams have been trying to protect their 'GOD' who 'may'not be able to protect 'HIMSELF'. GOD NEVER MAKES MISTAKES

@ Idrissa
Idrisa:

Jesus never gave the name CHRISTIANITY to the 'WAY OF LIFE' he preached.
And what has that God to do with the devils. Do you know that He gave power to his Children on earth before he left? Do you know that the name Christianity is what you know and that the faith has nothing to do with the name, rather it has everything (and all) to do with the person of Christ?

@ Idrissa
Idrisa:

Who does not know that Christianity (like Sunnism and Shiism) is used today by various governments and individuals to promote their inordinate desires?
Only the willingly deaf, dumb and blind do not know about Osama bin 'something' who has murdered uncountable number of people in the name of Islam, Islamic Jihad that just murdered some people yesterday and the uncountable number that have died due to the blood thirsty Islamic groups that exist worldwide. Whose name are they using to kill , maim and disrupt otherewise peacefull soceities?
Only God knows the accievements that Nigeria would have made were it not for the people that kill in the name of Islam.
@ Idrissa
Idrisa:

It is indeed Christianity that led to the skepticism against religion and many remarks like that of Karl Max.
If you call THE FAITH, a religion in this regard, then it is certain that you know almost nothing about it.
For your records, the Christian faith is all about God (Jehovah) through Jesus Christ. It does not compel men (like you do) because every man is individually answereable for his thoughts and actions. His comments are his views and they remain such. If a man writes such comments about your arabic religion (like Salmon Rushdie did) you will kill him or at best sentence him to death.

In any case, Islam was in the back waters of the middle east.Therefore. informed commentators like marx could not have made their comments based on an ethnic biased form of worship.

@ Idrissa
God speaks/understands all languages.
Then why must you pray in Arabic and face Arabia for you to be "heard" by him?
Why must children be taught Arabic from childhood?
Why must you be admonished to visit one site in Mecca?
Why must you dress like and Arabian when you are at the site?
These are the very attributes of an ethnic GOD. Even my great -grand father's GOD demanded the same set of observance.

You are free to propagate your beliefs at any time but be sure that your freedom ends where another man's own begins. Tresspassing is not encouraged.
Your belief system is of yesterday and can hardly exist without the historic Christian faith. There are too may questions to answer in your 'faith' that I wonder how you have time to poke-nose into another man's house when the cement and wood are all in your eyes.

Waiting.

Could this be the begining of the 'payback' to the god-father?

Idrisa:

Sunnism, Shiism, Christianity, Hinduism are not different from Secularism. They are all devised by the Satans to lead people away from al-Islam.

@Idrisa, please re-read what you posted and be sure it is what you really have in mind to say.

If indeed this is your thought then we challenge you to prove, beyond all reasonable doubts, that was invented by Satan.
[you will do yourself a world of good to stop you diatribe with reference to your sunni and shia 'brothers'- who, by the way, are killing themselves in Iraq]

In any case, what more can we expect from the proponent of a Religion whose 'GOD' 'understands' Arabic - which is another kind of enslavement.

We're waiting.

Thank you

MostSenior High Chief Mariory, this is an attempt (satirrical, it may seem) to rally all the good heads on the political arm of this forum who have been 'silent' due to Mr Obasanjo's actions, perceived actions and/or inaction.
There are lots of developing events and stories that await their views, but alas, they are not there.

Among these souls are some great minds who, though we may disagree, are 'sincere' in their thoughts, views and outlook.

If this smacks of jugdement and name calling, then its a pity.

I hereby repeat the call on all of Obj's apologist to come out of 'retirement' because they are important and their views are needed n new and developing issues.

Dear Nairalanders,

DISAPPEARANCE OF ALL OF "PRESIDENT OBASANJO'S APOLOGISTS AND BOOTLICKERS"

It is with great concern and ache in my heart that I announce the disappearance of all the apologists, bootlickers, campaigners, representatives, members of the 'sitting-room cabinet' members and friends of the president from this forum.

Some months ago, they had gone 'over the moon' in eulogising their mentor, grandmaster and leader by starting so many posts and condemning any and everybody that dared to question the intergrity of their boss. In the process, I don't know what happened, they just disappeared as their leader ended up leading them to the land called nowhere. [ps. nowhere is the city that hosts the headquarters of third term, failed census, corruption aka the more you look the less you see, oppresion and bombing of the niger delta, selective judgement, anti-atikuism, anti-everybody-except-himself, etc]

Should there be any of them on board, such should report to the rehabilitation camp situated at, (ask me later) for necessary debriefing.

This message is urgent and necessary as they have all ran away from the political board. We still need them because among them are some brilliant souls

Thank you
Politics / Re: Niger Delta: What Is The Problem? by owo(m): 11:25am On Apr 13, 2006
This thread started on Feb 26 and by the 27th I stated the folowing about what the Delta wants -

They want to control their money, resources, future, dreams, aspirations and destiny.

They don't want another person to administer it for them.

They are tired and sick of receiving their own money as an allocation in addition to insults.

They wish the larger Nigeria well but not at the expense of their 'living' bread.

Being what the geo-polity seeks, the problem therefore is the lack of these things.

Though the means, methods, materials and men deployed to accomplish these goals may vary from time to time, the goals remain cast in stone (unchangeable)

Enough said.
Politics / Re: Niger Delta: What Is The Problem? by owo(m): 4:20am On Apr 13, 2006
Attahs latest expression or definition etc of resource control did not start yesterday.
Check this link.

http://www.dawodu.com/attah1.htm

These thoughts as expressed by Arc. Attah are the product of a well thought out development initiative to which he subscribed (added a lot of great inputs) and gave it political prominence/relevance since 1999. This demand and the related Onshore /Offshore Oil dichotomy sustained the tension that existed between Attah and the president for five years.
Infact the late Aret Adams (former NNPC GMD) was called all sort of names when, he along with others, pushed the concept of marginal fields and local participation into the consciousness of the Oil and Gas industry long before 1999.

The Federal Government, NNPC and those that have the interest have been aware of this since 1999.

A.
demmy:

You are making more sense than the tribal obsessed owo and I agree with you on that.
@ demmy
Who started this 'tribal stuff"?
see what you wrote on March 8 - But I guess none of that matter because according to you he is a stooge and the real problem are (the yoruba) tribalists who are hindering the likes of him. In one of your earliest posts on this thread.
What made you to think that the Yorubas are tribalist in the context of this discourse? Was a reference made to that (Yorubas as tribalist) in any of the posts preceeding your statement?

B.
demmy:

I never deny that fat theives in Abuja are looting more oil money than local thieves in the creeks.
As far as I'am concern they are all thieves and should be dealt with.
In fact from the begining of this thread I've said that our problem are our looting leaders

Please show where you had stated that the the Delta's problems are the looting leaders (In Abuja). Contrary to that you have stated over and again that the Deltans and its looting 'leaders' are to blame.
see what you wrote on April 11
, but when this are instead diverted to looters' bank accounts then Nigerians has the right to ask them to be accountable before asking for more.
Here you stated clearly that the 'looters leaders' should be held accountable (maybe for the absence of 'development')"before the asking for more.
You even went further:
On March 08 you wrote
1. The point is he head the company that is destroying his very own environment and you mean to say he can't do nothing about it? I understand he has just taken over but I would still expect him to have some kind of plan at least as the gas flaring is concern.
Here in reference to Omiye who is shell's MD, you question the patriotism of Niger Deltans to their cause. In effect they are to blame. You went on in other posts to mention oritsejafor , Daukoro and the likes as being "lame'.

2. And despite this even today South-South are still aligned with the North politically.
Here you have blamed the collective choice of the Delta's citizens for the regions predicament. Good and fair that seems until you look under the table and get startled by some raw facts.

I put it to you, Chief Demmy, that you have never stated in this thread that the looting leaders in Abuja should shoulder the blame (or the bulk thereof) for the state of the Niger Delta. Rather, you have blamed 1. The collective choice(s) of the Niger Delta's citizens 2. Citizens if the the Niger Delta that are business leaders or government appointees 3. The "looting leaders" of Niger Delta origin.

3.
demmy:
I also believe that the current 13% derivation or the proposed 18% are not satisfactory.
Based on your previous submissions, this claim is at best a 'repentance' that has been inspired by the gods. However it must be taken with a bucket of salt unless you state it again with no strings attached so that the quantity of salt can be reduced to a pinch (or two).

4.
demmy:
However I won't stand for it when someone try to turn it into a tribal issue or that extortionist groups like MEND represent the interest of Niger Delta people.
JUMP and PASS. It is evident you know too little about the Delta, its peoples and the politics/technicalities of oil production in Nigeria to make that assertion.

5.
demmy:
I've tried to show all along that Niger delta people contrary to owo's claims are not marginalized in the federal bureaucracy (Niger delta indigenes are second only to Yorubas in the federal civil service) or that their elites are powerless (e.g CDS Ogomudia, Daukoru and Omiyi and others all in very high positions) and that their fortune would have been better if their national and local leaders had made better political choices in the past instead of choosing for instance Shagari who merely deprived them more of their oil earnings.
Who gave you the figures on the Delta's people in the Federal bureaucracy? the same government that could not conduct a sucessful census and refused to include ethnicity in the questionniare?
the Issue of the Delta coosing to go the NPN way in the late seventies instead of the Following Azikiwe , Awolowo etc will certainly distract from this thread. But it suffices to state clearly that the Delta's problems have been well analysed in better and more informed fora and this is certainly not a factor. It takes an unlearned reading of Nigerias political development to make this type of assertion.

6.
demmy:

Now my position is this we should put collective pressure on the national and local leaders by demanding for accountability.
Should this be taken as your new position?. If so, please state the relative percentage of accountability begining from the fact that 87% of the Delta wealth is shared accross board to even the remotest local Government in Nigeria, therefore all the beneficiaries of this wealth have a responsibility.
Politics / Re: Niger Delta: What Is The Problem? by owo(m): 10:53am On Apr 12, 2006
demmy:

Who is this WE you're referring to? You must be part of the looters, thieves and kidnappers like MEND using the unfortunate situation in Niger delta to extort for money because I can't imagine one poor common person from Niger delta with an ignoble opinion like that otherwise if not you need to wake up and see who your real problems are. MEND and their likes are not acting in the interest of ordinary people of Niger Delta. They are thieves. As for your coming days of reckoning nothing would give me more joy than to see looters accountable for their looting.

@ Demmy
You are free to call all the names and use all the adjectives that you can muster but it will not change the fact that ", you have no portion nor inheritance in the Delta".
Going by the example that you cited, it is certain that you know next to nothing about the workings and the issues that are the order of the day in the Nigerian Oil industry. Its a shame and you should be keeping quiet when the people that know are talking. You need to read up and have some first hand experiences.Go get some better facts

If you knew up to 5% of what we know, only God knows what you would do.

Fabrications like what you have stated in your last post will do you no good because the aim is to ensure that poverty remains perennial in the delta.
It is also obvious that you consider the Delta to be a cashcow that should be milked dry and then left to rot. Be sure that it will not happen. Certainly it will not happen.
Politics / Re: Niger Delta: What Is The Problem? by owo(m): 4:17am On Apr 12, 2006
My dear, if everything is not tribal in your eyes then, stop poke-nosing into our internal affairs and drop that tribal phrase ", the money is being diverted into looter's accounts therefore they should not ask for more", even if its their due.

We all know the real looters and the day(s) of reckoning is(are) nearer than you can imagine.

We have a right to do what we want with what is ours and you have no portion nor inheritance in it.
Politics / Re: Niger Delta: What Is The Problem? by owo(m): 5:10pm On Apr 11, 2006
@demmy; I dare to ask you to name the looters and the amounts linked to them.

When you finish just compare the figures with what Tafa Balogun alone stashed away (and got six 'crazy' months in the name of a prison sentence).
Add that to what the late Afolabi presided over in the National Identity card scam.
We all know the real rogues.

Remove the wool from your eyes and come down from your high hill, it seems you are the only person that does not know the looters and plunderers of this system.
Politics / Re: Niger Delta: What Is The Problem? by owo(m): 5:02pm On Apr 11, 2006
I challenge you Chief demmy to bring out what Oyo, Osun, and Ekiti states have done with the money obtained from pauperising the inhabitants of the Delta.

If and when you do, I will refer you to only one state in the Delta that all of them put together cannot compare - Cross River.

When you finish adding what Ogun and Lagos States have done, then I will compare it with Akwa Ibom alone.

The Delta is not seeking your pity, favour , concern or benevolence. It is demanding for its due right and that has nothing to do with how it runs its internal affairs.

My point is that there is nothing biblically wrong with having a bath in the River as per the new testament. I am not saying I would do it, only because I don't fancy it and I believe Prayer is always the Master Key
So what justification is there for a 'spiritual leader' to go and bath a grown up lady/woman/mother in the lagoon everytime he feels there is need to do so?

If prayer be the master key, how come the beach and lagoon fron all over lagos is littered with Cele? What is so special about these locations if the water and bath has no meaning?

Other states (non-oil producing) have not shown what they have done with the Delta's money that is being given to them.

I insist that the argument that there is nothing to show for the money given to Oil producing states is diversionary, begging the question and at best an attempt at blackmail.
It is used to cover up the absence of any sane argument to butress the continued deprivation of the Niger Delta of its rights.

Should a man's employer refuse to pay him his salary (that he has earned) because he gets drunk with the money?

Which of the doctrines in Cele is bad? Is it. . .

DO NOT:

*Commit Adultery or Fornication
*Drink Alcohol, Wine and Smoke Cigarettes
*Eat Pork & Crawling Animals
*Merry-go-round at night
*Wear transparent dress, especially for Soutana while in the Church premises
*Wear Red or Black apparel, except for professional reasons

Without taking the wind out of the ongoing discourse, I wish to know what is right about some of the doctrines mentioned above. Specifically, what is right about
1. Do not eat pork or crawling animals
2. Do not wear Red or black apparel (except for professional reasons)

In addition?
3. Why should someone wear soutana, at all?
4. Why should there be beating in the name of deliverance?
5. Why must men and women be bathed in the river (possibly by a 'more spiritual soul') periodically?
6. Why must people walk around barefooted?
7. Why must the WORD be replaced by 'Jamboree'?

Generally, what is the meaning of divination, and how does it compare with this 'see-vision-for-me' brouhaha that is evident in most of the posts here?

My brother, a lot of opinions have been stated already. He who has an ear let him hear.

However, the ear may need some touch by the MASTER who once touched a blind man and he saw at that very instant. At another time, a woman with an issue of blood touched him and her bleeding cease, instantly.

Without the touch of the master, it is difficult to comprehend the reality of His love, even for Judas.
Have you had this touch? Has he circumcised your heart?

Think about this most important and necessary touch.

who ever betrayed Jesus (or not) may seem to be a big issue until you consider the other side of the same coin, which is that, Jesus actually died on the behalf of all men (including you).

What have you done with that death?
Have you benefited from the great sacrifice that he made?
Is your heart cleansed and purified by him?
Are you God's son?

Think about these things, your life here and in eternity is at stake.

Something written about 300years after Christ had died, and not even by Judas himself, is , at best, another 'fiction'.

its a real crap and not even worth the publicity it is receiving. There have been better finds, certainly.

Are 'yoruba's ' the 'other' people??, Hmmmmm. Never 'knew' that.

If so, then only one of their kind has had the unique priviledge of leading this contraption on two different ocassions for a total of about 11 years (out of 46 years of independence), that is about 25% of the post-independence period.

It suffices to say that at least 25% of the country's shame, victories, fears, management or mismanagement, successes, failures, abuse of power, prowess, oppresion, liberation, illiteracy or literacy, growth or stuntedness, backwardness, tribalistic tendencies, corruption, uprightness, brain drain, orderliness or disorderliness, poor infrastructure, industrialisation or the lack of it, mass poverty (or mass wealth) etc etc etc, can be traced to one man and he is Yoruba (fortunately or unfortunately).

It also suffices to say that - 25% of the troubles and solutions of the Delta (adn its problems) can be directly traced to him (abi them).
