Christianity EtcCross-over Service At Glory Dome, World’s Largest Church Auditorium, Abuja (PIX) by owukpa(op): 9:47am On Jan 01, 2019
The world’s largest church auditorium, Glory Dome of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja was filled to capacity last night at the cross over service.

WWW.IDOMAVOICE.COM observed that the cross over service was attended by several worshipers, who flew in from Australia, USA, Ghana, Cameroon, Spain, India, Benin and Niger Republics and other countries of the world.

The 100,000 capacity building was filled to the brim with overflows.

Speaking during the cross over service, the senior pastor of the ministry, Dr. Paul Enenche gave out prophetic messages on what Nigerians should expect in the New Year.

Dr. Enenche likened Nigeria to a woman who is in labour and about to deliver.

The cleric said in 2019 there would be ‘deliverance and delivery’ in Nigeria.

He declared that 2019 is a year of Greater Glory.

Releasing his prophetic messages concerning Nigeria, Dr. Enenche said, “While I prayed, it was on the 28 of December about 9 in the evening, the Lord spoke to me clearly and he said, ‘tell the church not to stop praying for Nigeria for I not leave Nigeria alone until I have performed my performed my perfect will and good work in Nigeria.

“He said the mantle is on Nigeria to invade the rest of the world with end-time messages of revival and that is the reason for the desperation of the enemy but the enemy is fighting a lost battle.

“The whole of creation awaits my manifestation of my glory through Nigeria and they shall not be disappointed.

“He said the things you see in the country are the pangs of great destiny. Suddenly deliverance and delivery shall happen and it shall all become history.

“All the forces of wickedness that want this nation buried would be laid to rest.

“He said there will be deliverance of the nation from evil and there shall be delivery of a great nation.”

PoliticsEnenche Vs El-rufai: Muslim Group Blasts Kaduna Gov Over Threat To Arrest Pastor by owukpa(op): 7:53pm On Dec 31, 2018
The United Muslims for Peace and Good Governance has slammed the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El Rufai over what it tagged as his unguarded and inflammatory comments against Nigerian pastors and fellow politicians.

The group said El-Rufai’s constant attacks on clergymen and fellow politicians were unbecoming of a leader.

UMPGG was reacting to a recent threat by the governor to arrest and prosecute Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis for alleged hate speech.

The group likened El-Rufai’s threat to a case of pot calling kettle black.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja on Monday, the National President of the group, Kabiru Ibn Mohammed, warned the governor to focus on governance and stop chasing shadow.

Kabiru said the governor’s threat to arrest a man of God for airing his views on happenings in Kaduna State and the nation was childish and uncalled for.

Kaburi said, “Compliments of the season to the fourth estate of the realms. I wish you and your families a happy Christmas celebration in arrears and an anticipated brand New Year.

“Please permit me to say, may the joy of the season and New Year tether for us a rewarding progress in our personal lives.

“We decided to call for this impromptu media chat following the recent comment by a Muslim brother, Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State against Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis Church.

“El Rufai was recently widely quoted in the media as threatening to arrest the pastor over what he termed to be a hate speech against his personality.

“We were forced to make findings on the said video and we discovered that the man of God did not at any point accuse him of killing anybody as he claimed.

“This is the second time El Rufai would be showing his disdain towards pastors and it is worrisome, to say the least.

“The first time, it was Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministry he declared war on and now, he’s after Pastor Enenche, this is not good for the nation.

“If El-Rufai claims to be a leader and sees anybody that advises or airs his views on issues affecting his state as an enemy, then he’s worse than an infidel.

“We urge the federal government, the Nigerian Governors Forum, the Northern Governors Forum and others leaders from the region to call El Rufai to order to stop this crude attitude of his towards people, most especially men of God.

“We have studied Enenche for long and he is one of the vocal persons against the senseless killings in the nation. Calling Enenche a hate speech promoter is like a pot calling the kettle black.

“We advise governor El-Rufai to focus on how to unite Kaduna north and South he has divided through his divisive politics.

“An attack on Enenche is an attack on the Muslim community and the entire Christendom because even Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) taught us to accept correction(s) in good faith.

“The governor has been fighting hard to silence journalists from reporting what has been happening in Kaduna State. He also sees his fellow politicians who advise him as enemies.

“If the governor cannot withstand criticisms, he should kindly resign and get a life instead of crying wolf where there is none.

“This group salutes the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for its quick and apt response to El-Rufai’s threat against Enenche.

“We, therefore, declared that as a body, the governor should business the state in order to provide the dividends of democracy to those that voted him into power rather than looking for a pin inside an ocean,” Kabiru warned.

I had to read through this lenghty comment of yours despite my tight schedule.

I realized you are one of the disciples of Daddy Freeze and his fellow anti Christ.

Are you expecting a Pastor to build factory or hospital with 'tithe and offering?' (as you claimed).

To clear your ignorances, I heard this ministry has done a lot for people but chose not to make noise about it.

I didn't see this comment of yours when a story appeared on this forum about the pastor's donation to IDPs in Benue, Lokoja, Abuja, Plateau and other parts of the country.

I'm sure you were in coma when he hosted over 5 thousand windows, orphans and the less privileged last week for Christmas and they left with many things.

What did your president do, they sang Christmas song for you and their gullible flutists and you clapped for them.

Learn to appreciate good things.

You must not wail over everything.

Did you read anywhere that they raise funds in the course of building the Dome?
I challenge you to prove me wrong.

I'm not holding brief for the church but I'm sick and tired of you guys wailing over this 100k capacity Glory Dome.

I'm sure you and freeze would commit suicide when 200k capacity come up.

Atewo400:
Eyahh Nigerians are seriously blindfolded
Pastors are having mega churches with money that will have been used to do so many other neceesqry things and of which they Get money from
And the masses who are not living comfortabely will still be the one enriching them
Even the bible says That they that give to the rich shall become poor But we cover this up by saying He is my papa
one of the problems of this country is Religion
politicians will steal money then pay their fat thithe and offering to all this churches and they believe they are safe
Every pastor wants to have a mega church but nobody want to help the country by establishing industries and other social benefiting amenities
since our pastors know that they have access to all this rich people let them use the money to help the masses
apart from that religion is also some of the reasons of the out rise of crime because we have different believes and we believe any believe that we dont believe in is wrong and we want to fight
I am composing this in a deeper life bible church presently but the truth remains the truth
some take reference to Solomon
But the truth is that big temple was the only one in Israel but in Nigeria we have his too many mega churches which exort money that is supposed to be used for other things
even Jesus or his followers never collected money to build mega church
But they had all things in common
But today our pastors are living in luxuries and we are in poverty
now tell me is that having things in common
So many people don't have any means of mobility but a pastor has more than one private jet
Nigerians let us be realistic with our selves and see things the way they ought to be
I remain Emmanuel The young boy that loves others opinion and deals with fact

Christianity EtcHate Speech: Between Enenche And El-rufai by owukpa(op): 10:43pm On Dec 27, 2018
BY DAVID YUSUF
I was amused when Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna state was recently reported to have accused the Founder and Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre of peddling “hate speech” which led to reprisal attacks over the killings that rocked Kasuwan Magani in the state. The governor, who is known for his verbal diarrhea far more than his actions, seems to have swallowed more than he can chew. Who is el-Rufai to threaten Dr Enenche whose footprints brought together movers and shakers of the nation, including global political and spiritual leaders, to dedicate the 100,000-seat auditorium called Dunamis Glory Dome? Can a canary threaten an eagle? I am happy that the respected cleric has not dignified the governor’s baseless threat with a response.

For those who are not conversant with the main crux of the issue and be carried away by the demagoguery of the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, I find it expedient to address some significant issues that have clearly shown that el-Rufai and not Dr Enenche is the real hate speech advocate.

During a recent visit to his office in Kaduna by the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the governor had threatened to arraign the preacher to face justice. According to el-Rufai whose administration has brought unspeakable bloodshed of monumental proportion, Enenche’s video on the killings had led to reprisal attacks that claimed scores of lives and raised tension in some parts of the state. Not even the repudiation of Enenche’s message by the Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Arch Bala Barnabas Bantex, through a press conference on the platform of ‘Christian elders in the Kaduna State Government’ could fault the message as contained in the video clip that went viral on many social media platforms.

Unlike el-Rufai who is a constant peddler of hate speech, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre is known for his passion for humanity. He is also an advocate of peaceful co-existence amongst people across ethnic and religious divide beyond national confines. As a pastor who ministers to millions of Christians across the globe, Enenche is, no doubt, pained at the intense, unspeakable horror that trailed the Kasuwan Magani massacre and subsequent punishing curfew that followed.

In the video clip that has been viewed by millions of people across the globe, Dr Enenche delivered a scorching condemnation of the Kaduna State Government in the manner it calculatingly imposed sufferings on Christians in the state. While a church in Kawo located in the northern part of Kaduna city was completely destroyed during the curfew hours, and non-Muslims attacked, movement of people in the southern axis of Kaduna town, mostly inhabited by Christians, was curtailed.

Having pocketed the traditional media in the state to cover up the loathsome tyranny of the el-Rufai-led Government, those who are supposed to speak up have embraced lethargy and embarrassing silence. As a pastor who enjoys large followership across denominational divide, Dr Enenche had received distress calls from besieged members following the imposition of the curfew in Kaduna state during and after the violence. During the killings and complete lockdown of the state, people were thrown into dire situations, with food shortages and other essential commodities posing grave dangers.

For the first time in the history of the state, Christians were barred from attending Sunday services, forcing many Christians to resort to television/radio broadcasts as a painful option.

In such a situation, how could the Senior Pastor be silent over this horrific suffering and emasculation of rights? Should the shepherd embrace silence in order to please the powers that be and risk the destruction of the sheep? It was against this background that Dr Enenche mounted a searing condemnation of the Kaduna State Government over its deliberate policy of subjugating Christians under the emirate system.

Unlike others who may be comfortable in embracing silence and allow the sheep to suffer pangs of injustice, Dr Enenche accused the state government of being behind the atrocious reign of terror on Christian communities. He said there were attempts by demonic agents in the state to force Christian communities come under the rule of the newly created emirates.

He declared that the slain monarch of the Adara Chiefdom, Agom Adara, Dr Maiwada Raphael Galadima, was abducted by bandits after a meeting with the state governor. All these incidents have highlighted by the Adara People who have accused the state government of being complicit in the killing of their monarch. Why should the truth be described as “hate speech” just because it does not serve the interest of the hearers? Is the el-Rufai government not doing everything to recolonise some areas of southern Kaduna by subjecting them under the rule of emirate system?

Long before the emergence of el-Rufai as governor in 2015, Col Lawal Jafaru Isah as military administrator of the state had commenced emancipation of Christian communities from feudal imperialism. He created the Bajju Chiefdom that had waged many years of struggle from the shackles of the Zazzau Emirate. The dawn of democracy in 1999 brought total freedom to ethnic nationalities in the southern axis as chiefdoms were created for ethnic groups in the southern parts of the state. However, the current administration headed by el-Rufai seems poised to return past chains of oppression by creating emirates out of chiefdoms.

Lere, Kagarko and Kajuru chiefdoms all in Southern Kaduna have since been renamed emirates on what the government claimed as hinged on “popular demands.” The Adara Chiefdom that was created by former Governor Mohammed Ahmed Makarfi had been abolished few weeks after the brutal assassination of the monarch. While the Adara people have been confined to Kachia, the Kajuru chiefdom has been renamed an emirate with the sole purpose of ensuring that non-Muslims are barred from becoming monarch.

Not wanting to be swallowed by this deliberate ploy of subjugation as scripted by the Kaduna State Government under el-Rufai, the Adara people have commenced legal fireworks and challenging the law abolishing their chiefdom. Indeed, the ruse that the return of feudal institution on the free people of affected Chiefdoms was due to ‘popular demands’ cannot stand as major Christian enclaves under the Zaria Emirate in many LGAs in the northern part of the state are still under the emirate system.

Since becoming governor in 2015, el-Rufai has embarked on adversarial attitude to deal with people he perceived as constituting impediments to his comeback bid. He recently told Christian clerics in Kafanchan that he was not unaware of their opposition to his re-election, but boasted that he would be re-elected in 2019. He reportedly accused Christian leaders in the state of playing the role of conflict entrepreneurs through receipt of huge financial aids from foreign organisations in the pretext of rebuilding destroyed churches.

However, when challenged to back up his claim with evidences, he kept a surly silence. el-Rufai is so pained at Enenche’s video clip opened up the sepulcher of his government and its determination to foist injustice on Christians in the state.

The truth is that the little man from Zaria cannot sustain the “hate speech” he preferred against Dr Enenche. To massage his over bloated ego, he needs to be seen saying something. The complex-ridden governor lives in a world of a grandeur illusion where he sees himself as an emperor whose actions should never be challenged. The video clip from the Dunamis Founder has flawed the erroneous impression people have about el-Rufai’s footprints in Kaduna State. Considering the track records of both men, Dr Enenche remains an eagle whose soaring flight is far beyond the comprehension of the former BPE boss whose focus is on earthly possessions that is hinged on human greed.

As part of activities to mark this year’s Christmas and New Year’s celebrations, the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, on Saturday reached out to widows, orphans and the less-privileged.

The outreach, which was powered by the Dr. Paul and Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche-led ministry, took place inside the Glory Dome at the Lord’s Garden, along Airport Road, Abuja.

The ministration is done annually by the ministry as a way of empowering and reaching out to people and communities.

Speaking during the programme attended by over 5,000 people from various denominations and across religious lines, Dr. Paul described the gesture as a way of reaching out to people and as well reminds them about the love of Christ.

Dr. Enenche reminded the widows that despite their condition, there is a God in heaven who will never abandon them.

Among items distributed during the ministration were: thousands of bags of rice, tomatoes, grinding machines, tubers of yams, salt, toiletries, deep freezers, wrappers, and other things.

Speaking with newsmen, one of the beneficiaries, who gave her name as Mrs. Owolabi, thanked the church and its leadership for the kind gesture.

She also appreciated God for using his servants, Dr. Paul and Dr. Mrs. Becky to bless them.

“Since I lost my husband, we have been practically living from hand to mouth. We had lost hope before now but God has used his servants to bless us. God will continue to bless and keep Dr. Paul and his wife, Mummy Becky. On behalf of my children, I pray that they would never experience dryness. God will move them from glory to glory.”

Also speaking with our reporter, one of the beneficiaries broke down in tears while appreciating the ministry for the kind gesture.

“I am not a member of this church; in fact, this is the first time of coming here but I am happy for the gift. I can’t thank Daddy Paul and Mummy Becky enough,” the visibly elated woman said.

Here are some pictures from the ministration.

Christianity EtcDunamis Church Donates Relief Materials To IDPs Camps In Plateau State (Photos) by owukpa(op): 10:25am On Dec 13, 2018
In this series, I will be unfolding the untold monumental community projects/outreaches by the Dr. Paul and Dr. Mrs. Becky Paul-Enenche-led Dunamis International Gospel Centre. I personally took my time to dig up these stories following the recent social media debate that church is now all about ‘tithe and offering.’ Come along.

Days after its commission, news about the 100,000-capacity Dunamis International Gospel Centre continues to resonate.

The newly commissioned edifice, the largest of its kind in Africa (or world) was tagged the Eighth Wonder of the World.

For many in Christendom, the magnificent worship centre is inspiring, even as they marvel and give glory to God and kudos to the church and her leadership.

However, what many don’t know is the unending humanitarian work of the ministry that has been going on silently for many years.

A recently conducted investigation by WWW.IDOMAVOICE.COM uncovered several developmental projects conceived and executed by the ministry.

The church, under the leadership of its founding and senior pastor, Dr. Paul Enenche, and his wife, Dr. Mrs. Becky Paul-Enenche, had commissioned not fewer than 25 of such projects across the country, spreading across towns and villages.

The church has been succor to victims of various calamities who ended as Internally Displace Person (IDPs).

In this charitable exercise, Dunamis ministry even surpassed the federal government in the provision of relief materials to victims.

This was further confirmed on December 8, 2018 during a Sunday service by a Plateau State indigene who stormed the Dunamis Glory Dome to thank the church for coming to the aid of the community with relief materials.

According to the visibly excited Plateau native, who gave his name as Joel Choji, the IDPs from community are grateful to God and thankful to the Enenche-led ministry for the items they donated.

He said, “I want to give testimony to the glory of God on behalf of my community for what this church and the Senior Pastor have done for our community.

“Recently, the crisis in Plateau State wiped away our community and Daddy sent relief materials to the IDP camps.

“I was in Jos last week and they called me and were celebrating. They asked me to tell my pastor that they are grateful for the items he sent. They said this is how church is supposed to be (sic).
“They told me that even the churches where they worship did not send any relief material to them,” he said.

His testimony further reinforced the statements of Prof. Dennis Ityavyar, Benue State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, who earlier this year affirmed that the revered clergy and the church brought reliefs for the IDPs in Benue in a proportion that surpassed the federal government donation.

A source in the church confirmed that Dr. Enenche had placed an embargo on publicity of any sorts regarding the church’s charity activities.

Hence, a lot of the church's outreaches go unsung. According to him, the minister is a man of great modesty, whatever good the church does should be kept away from the limelight and public glare and would be rewarded publicly by God.

Interestingly, findings by our reporter have confirmed that the ministry actually embarked on this particular humanitarian act on October 8, 2018 even while in the heat of preparation for the Glory Dome dedication. This is just one set of the so many similar outreaches by this ministry over the years.

In the wake of the plateau crisis truck loads of relief materials were distributed by the church to the major IDP camps in Angludi, Riyom and Heipang areas of the state.

Among some items sighted by this reporter included hundreds of bags of rice, over 500 mattresses, cartons of noodles numbering over 200, slippers, detergents, sachet tomatoes, toiletries, wears and several others.

Here are some of the pictures we obtained.

PhonesSee The Cheapest Smarthphone Invented By A Nigerian (pix) by owukpa(op): 5:30pm On Dec 04, 2018
Oyi-1: Affordable Android Smartphone for low income earners, invented by a young Nigerian has been unveiled.

The smartphone, according to the inventor, is aimed as making digital services such as financial inclusion, telehealthcare, smart farming and  communications affordable and accessible to  the lower class.

The phone was unveiled before the general public at an epoch-making event in Abuja on Friday.

In an exclusive interview with our reporter, youthful Enoh, who's based in the United States of America, tell the story behind the invention of the intention.

Can we meet you?

My name is John Enoh. I'm the Chief Executive Officer of Beeptool Communications and Integrated Services Ltd.

I have two other team members that work with me - Michael Ige is the Chief Operations Officer and Mayowa Ihinmikaiye, who is in charge of our fintech technology and other parts.

What is the idea behind Beeptool Communications?

We came up with the idea of Beeptool Communications and Integrated Services Ltd to make sure that we really support what the government is doing and the efforts of various agencies that are fighting poverty in Africa. We try to use digital technology to alleviate poverty.

You recently unveiled a new affordable phone; Oyi-1, tell us more about it and your reason behind the invention

The phone is actually for the end user who is qualified or eligible for the affordable smartphone which is actually Africa's first. It is a crowd funded smartphone and pre-financed by donor agencies, organisations and individuals who want to really help to alleviate poverty.

The cost of the phone is really high if we decide to go by the market price, but somebody somewhere crashes the price using our technology to do that.

So, for the end user who is qualified, and these end users are people who must not earn more than N15,000 per month. We are looking at people who are not able to afford $2 per day. If you earn more than Fifteen Thousand Naira per month, then you're not qualified to get the phone at One Thousand Naira. However people who earn more than fifteen thousand Naira can get the phone at the the normal market price which is Twenty Five Thousand Naira. Our target for this is not the people who can afford smartphones, this is really for those who cannot afford smartphones, those who are majorly in rural areas. In Nigeria for instance, we have about 40 million Nigerians on that range.

What are the benefits of Oyi-1?

The Oyi-1 smartphone is an affordable smartphone and it's a smartphone as a service not a smartphone as a device. It's as a service to the end user and we provided applications such as financial applications so that they'll be able to have a small daily contribution platform and they'll be able to request micro loans from the ministry of agriculture, they'll be able to pay little money and still be connected to the financial economy.

Apart from that what else are you into?

Apart from that, we also have the M-health application. This is basically for people in the rural areas that are not able to go to hospital so that they'll be able to reach a group of doctors, call them up so that they'll be able to give them medical care remotely.

Apart from that, for farmers, we have an app called M-farm. M-farm is an application that connects rural farmers to the city where they can check up the prizes of agricultural produce like yams for instance in Benue State and the cost of the same yams in a city like Lagos. It maps the producer of the yam and the buyer in the city. Those are the things we've built into it to keep these people were targeting busy, to create prosperity for them. Not only giving them money but a tool in their hands that they can use to make money.

So it's not just a smartphone for just making calls. You can make calls with it quite alright, you can do any other thing like you do with any normal smartphone but that's not the target. There are smartphones everywhere but Oyi-1 is a smartphone as a service, one of its kind in Africa and in the world in general.

The M-health for instance, you know about the health sector in Nigeria. People in the rural areas suffer a lot, the primary health care centres are not very OK. We know the government is trying already, so this is to compliment government efforts.

For instance if Nigerians in the diaspora can spend their time to carry out consultancy services for the people at home, I'm very happy with it. Of course, the people at rural areas will want to use those services as well. Government and even NGOs can pay on behalf of those people to be able to access those services.

For the M-farm for instance, if my mother who is a farmer in the rural area who sells her bag of garri there at the village for One Thousand Naira can be mapped with a buyer in Lagos and she could sell for Five Thousand Naira. She'll be very happy to that. We want to revolutionalise everything like it's happening in Kenya. We want to make sure thay everything works very fine in Nigeria.

What are the unique features of the phone (Oyi-1)?

What makes our phone very unique is that it comes with a dual SIM and it uses a dual connectivity. Dual connectivity in the sense that it uses the traditional GSM service providers like MTN, Glo,, Airtel, 9Mobile etc... but above that we have connected our device and applications to a nano satellite which is the world's first nano satellite that will also bring connectivity to those rural areas to enable them use our phones not by using codes like USSD or SENDING SMS but just pressing a button to carry out their transactions.

Christianity EtcMuslim Man Backs Dr. Enenche, Dunamis Over 100,000 Capacity Glory Dome by owukpa(op): 8:45am On Nov 28, 2018
I had deliberately refrained from commenting on the controversy trailing the construction of a 100,000 capacity auditorium by the Pastor Paul Enenche-led Dunamis International Gospel Centre.

Mind you, I am a Muslim and I don’t intend to change my religion, for any reason.

I have been following comments from various social critics, including mouth-licking Daddy Freeze.

I have known the frustrated young man for attacking men of God and I advise him to take it easy because of those people he attacks are even old enough to be his father.

I was shocked seeing people attacking the man of God for not using the money to build factories or roads for the people. Are you kidding me?

It was that point I was forced to do a research about the church online and stumbled on some powerful messages of the man of God about Nigeria.

In fact, he has been the only vocal person on the issue of killings in Nigeria championed by this visionless government.

I also read on one online platform- Idoma Voice that he has been to Agatu, Makurdi, Abuja and several IDPs camp to donate relief materials to the victims.

I was shocked reading what one Prof. Dennis Ityavyar, Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology in Benue said, according to him, what Dr. Enenche and the church brought was more than the relief material the federal government donated. I had to bury my head in shame.

I also saw pictures of Enenche and his wife wearing medical gowns attending to people at IDP camp. This is what religion is all about.

Mind you, I am not defending him. I don’t even know them.

I read several other things he did online and I was impressed coupled with his messages against killings in the nation.

Anyone lamenting over the building is either envious or from the marine world.

I read in his interview that the construction of the project provided jobs for more than 5,000 people across religious lines.

The interesting thing he said about that building was that it was done by Nigerians and no foreign aid and the same government was the one who told us that our youths are lazy.

I think we need to check some people’s brain if they are running on fura de nunu or gasoline.

So, a pastor should use his supposed tithe and offering money to build roads and schools for you while your government is busy chasing shadow in the name of fighting kwaraption. The funny thing is that those shouting crucify Enenche are not his members.

I saw the excitement in the eyes of the members while watching the dedication online and people who are not even members are crying more than the bereaved? Is this not a case of drinking panadol for another man’s headache?

Kindly tell your government to use your tax money to build road and not Enenche who does not owe you a dime.

Any right thinking person would not fault the project. I urge my Muslim brothers and sisters to desist from attacking Enenche and his ministry. Live him to his God if you feel he is wrong, not writing trash about him on social media.

No I see why some people will perpetually remain poor. They don’t have vision.

yarHamukom Allah.

Christianity EtcEnenche: We Built The Glory Dome Debt Free, How We Built Dunamis Headquarters by owukpa(op): 6:26am On Nov 25, 2018
During a recent interaction with WWW.IDOMAVOICE.COM, the founder of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, gave a first-hand account of how his ministry built the 100,000 capacity Glory Dome in less than four years.

The building is believed to be the largest auditorium in the world.

He also hinted of the process involved in the God-directed project, the life-transforming effect of the construction and the great wonders to come.

Getting the location

We thank the Lord for his goodness and mercy. The vision for the building of the Lord’s Garden and the Glory Dome is synonymous with the vision of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre.

The vision is: “To impact our world with the principle, presence and the power of God by saturating the earth with the knowledge of the glory of God as the waters cover the seas. And to have a base where that word would emanate from to the ends of the earth.”

God gave us that vision; with the vision, there must come location. That was how we began to pray and in the night I had a revelation where I was taken to a land along the airport road, with a landmark that showed me that land.

We looked for land but we couldn’t find one. So we decided to buy land somewhere else, almost a thousand acres and another almost 700 acres in another location. We were almost starting in one of those places when the Lord reminded me that there was somewhere else he showed me and that I should still go ahead and look for the place.

I then called one of the surveyors in our church and anointed him with oil and tasked him to go and look for the land along the airport. To the glory of God, within one week, he was back and said he had found a place. And when we got here, I said this was the place the Lord showed. And that was how we secured this place after almost ten years when it was first released via revelation.

The design

What was obvious to me was what we wanted to do. We knew that whatever creative and gifting we needed was right there in the house, so I announced in church that I needed a building team––structural engineers, building engineers, mechanical engineers as well as quantity surveyors.

They came out en masse. We selected the architects and gave them the concept I wanted. I told them anything from 75,000 to 100, 000 seaters all under one roof. I asked them to go and develop the concept. We had about five different designs. The current design was what met the specification of what we wanted.

An architectural wonder

We ‘broke’ ground on September 14, 2014. Before the main construction started, we did a lot of excavations. By January 2015, the construction had started. In the course of construction, there were modifications that we made. For example, I needed the whole building without pillars and it was to be roofed. Originally, some of them were wondering how is that going to be possible, especially with the size of the building, but I told them it was possible. They went for consultations and realized it was truly possible.

There were things I would see in the revelation and would tell them and they would do it and it turned out to become excellent.

The building is a structural engineering wonder; as a matter fact, when the officials from the Nigerian Society of Engineers came here, they were very excited that the building was constructed indigenously without any external help. We had had architectural students from universities and even from the development commission here in Abuja on tours to see what is going on.

I could remember that at the beginning of the construction, the team of the supervisors that came were asked to stay for at least one week to monitor what was going on.

So, it is a masterpiece. We went down to the earth almost 8-12 metres with iron pillars coupled with concrete before we came out. It took us sometime before we came out, with hundreds of millions of naira spent. By the time you come out, you are faced with the gallery, it means without pillar going almost 12 metres. There are very few in the world. Then, you are again spanning 274 metres. A football pitch is 90 metres, that means two football pitches under one roof without a pillar. That is a wonder.

The roofing company said that this is their largest roofing in the world, and they are the foremost roofing company as far as dome structure is concerned worldwide. Then you come in through the front entrance, the north wing and you see the height of it.

Impact on the rest of Africa, rest of the world

We have seen visitors from all walks of life including the clergy and politicians during the construction.

I remember during the construction stage, a man came from Europe and was busy taking pictures. I asked him why, since he was coming from Europe where they have virtually everything and he said: ‘Sir, I haven’t seen a thing as this.’ We have had in our previous conferences delegates from various countries. Apart from the Glory Dome itself, we have the recreational park, that would make this place a holiday destination, a tourist attraction and a vacation location where people would come to and literally don’t want to go back.

There was a time the wife of Bishop Taiwo Adelakan of Victory International Ibadan came here and she said she was proud to be a Nigerian because there would be no need to travel abroad any more. We have people commending the glory of God on the dome and the entire garden.

Location of the altar

Specifically, the altar is meant to be central where everybody would be viewing the minister at the same time. The main entrance facing the altar is architecturally important and spiritual so that the flow of the ministration is equidistant to everyone.

The dome is about 43 metres from the floor level. That is about the height of a 13-storey building. Imagine yourself standing, looking at 13 floors that are filled with anointed worship, the type that would make people roll on the floor in tears while worshipping God. That is going to escalate a thousand times in this place. It is going to be awesome.

Concerns and challenges

I cannot say that there was any major concern. But I think the major concern of everybody is how it was going to be roofed. Personally, I’m not an engineer or architect, so I was also picturing how it was going to look like. It would interest you to know that the roof was knitted just the way we knit basket. It has 21,000 pieces of metals that were hooked together. So, I was just wondering how they were going to do that. But we overcame and it was beautifully done.

Building without pressure or stress

I think it is the scripture that says God would keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on him. This is not my building. If I were to build a house, I won’t build a house as big as this. So, it is for the Lord, and because it belongs to God, it can’t put me under pressure, because the owner is not under pressure. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. God has never been under pressure to do anything. So it is stress-less. This is a multi-billion project. The roof alone is in billions not to talk of the construction. But it was done effortlessly and without stress.

The church members are not even under pressure. We did not at any point call for general offering for the project in the church. In fact, so many times, we forget to take the offering in church and members would have to remind the pastor that offering has not been taken––and this happened often while a major construction was ongoing. The truth is, we have a supernatural supply. We cannot point at any man that he’s the financier.

A project of empowerment

If you come to this site, you would see thousands of workers: carpenters, iron benders, electricians, mechanical engineers, quantity surveyors, architects, structural engineers, site labourers––I cannot tell the exact figure, but I’m sure it is not going to be less than 5, 000. It was indeed a beehive of activities. These people were fed daily. In fact, so many people bought cars in the course of the construction. Some even had their own houses by what they were being paid here. This building was put together at a time when there was zero construction anywhere in the city. One of the supervisors who came to monitor the project confessed that this was the only project they were supervising as it were in the city.

People also acquired new skills. The roofing company came as a consultant, the installation of the roof was entirely our business and what we did was to get a group of Nigerians in thousands and train them on what it takes to knit the roof together and these people were trained to scale a height of 43 meters and knit.

Literally, thousands of people from all religions had livelihood, some on the minimum of three to four years, especially at a time when unemployment was a major issue in the country.

Artisans, electricians, plumbers, bricklayers, painters and many others got employed.

In fact, at a point, there were constructions going on everywhere at the main auditorium, Glory Dome, the school, Destiny Christian School, the duplexes, and the garden. The workmen were paid as when due. That livelihood was provided. One of the supervisors said the construction was providing employment for Nigerians at a time than anywhere as far as he knew because there was no project going on at this scale in the city at a point. Beyond that, there were people who acquired and learnt new skills. If we have another opportunity in Nigeria for this kind of roof to be done, we won’t need to look for technical people who can do that because they are available.

Scaling the country’s adverse economy

That is where the supernatural and divine element comes in. I think it was strategic for us to make man know the possibility of God, that no human or governmental power was responsible because Nigeria was hit by the worst depression and recession in its history.

We started the project when one dollar was equivalent to 199 naira and we came to a point when one dollar equalled 365 naira and that multiplied the cost of the project. Whatever prices we were importing doubled, but we didn’t bother.

So it was massively supplied by heaven. That is what makes it a miracle. If this construction could happen when Nigeria was in an economic boom, it would have been said that it was easy. But given the circumstance under which it happened, it becomes a miracle.

In all this, we give glory to God.

Bishop Oyedepo, the Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church, otherwise known as Winners Chapel, will on Saturday, November 25, 2018 dedicate the Glory Dome in Abuja.

The 100,000 capacity edifice, built by the Dr. Paul Enenche-led the Dunamis International Gospel Centre is believed to be the largest church auditorium in the world.

It is located along the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Road, Abuja.

IDOMA VOICE recalls that on September 14, 2014, Bishop Oyedepo was invited for the groundbreaking ceremony of place.

IDOMA VOICE’s tour on the Lord’s Garden on Wednesday showed that the awe-inspiring auditorium has no single visible pillar supporting it as the pillars are embedded in the walls while the beauty of the golden dome roof is more obvious.

The dedication of the building would herald the 2018 edition of church’s Kingdom Power and Glory World Conference tagged: “Come Up Hither.”

While Dr. Enenche’s spiritual father, Bishop Oyedepo would officially dedicate the building on Saturday, other men of God such as WF Kumuyi of Deeper Life, Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, Morris Cerullo, Bishop David Abioye, while Dr. and Dr. Mrs. Paul Enenche would be the hosts.

CrimeN33bn Fraud: NEMA Counters House Of Reps Committee With 'hard Facts' by owukpa(op): 7:22am On Nov 18, 2018
National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has insisted that the House of Representatives lied in the report of its committee on Emergency and Disaster Preparedness which indicted the agency of violation of public trust in the disbursement of over N33bn emergency intervention fund.

The Agency stated this in a press statement on Saturday by its spokesman, Sani Datti, in Abuja.

Recall that the Green Chamber had called for the dismissal and prosecution of the NEMA boss, Engr Mustapha Maihaja and his cohorts over allegations of fraud, corruption and embezzlement of the N33 billion Emergency Intervention Fund under review.

NEMA, in a bid to set the records straight, released details of issues raised by the lawmakers' committee report.

It maintained its position that the findings and conclusions of the Rep. Isa Ali- led Committee which did not reflect the facts and documents placed before it by the agency.

The statement reads: "The House of Representatives, at its plenary on 8thNovember 2018, received the Report of the House Committee on Emergency and Disaster Preparedness on the alleged violation of public trust against the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

"The Agency was astonished to hear some of the findings and conclusions presented by the Committee on the issues, which did not reflect the facts and documents placed before it by NEMA. While the Agency will in due course make a more comprehensive response to all the allegation made, it is therefore most important to make the following clarification:

"Port Clearance and Transportation of Emergency Food Assistance by Chinese Government; the Federal Government received a total of 6,779MT of Rice for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the North East as donation by the Chinese Government. This amounted to 271 containers, which arrived Apapa Ports between June and October 2017.

"The correct total value of the rice is N2.25 Billion (50.5 Million Chinese Yuan) and the amount spent on demurrage and storage was about N450 Million, not N800 Million as alleged by the Committee. The processes of obtaining duty exemption, waivers and other related issues took several months, but the total quantity was subsequently cleared from the Apapa Port, transported and delivered to NEMA warehouses in the North East. It was thereafter distributed to the IDPs, though some quantities are still available in Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe States. Relevant documents on the transaction were made available to the Committee during the public hearing.

"The suspension of six (6) NEMA officers: This was a decision of the Governing Council of NEMA based on an Interim Report by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which indicted them for financial misappropriation. This suspension was in line with extant Guidelines on Appointment, Promotion and Discipline as contained in the Public Service Rules.

"The approval of the sum of N1.6 billion granted by the Federal Government for the Procurement and Delivery of Relief Items to 16 States affected by Flood in 2017, due process was followed in the procurement of the relief items and all items meant for the 16 states were received and acknowledged by respective State Governments. Relevant documents were made available to the House Committee.

"The Federal Government Emergency Food Intervention in the North East(EFINE), EFINE was a project implemented by a Presidential Committee comprising of relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government (MDAs) in response to the threat of hunger and starvation in the North East as reported by the agencies of Government on the ground, which was corroborated by the United Nations World Food Programme in April 2017.

"All approvals were sought in accordance with due process, while the Committee and the UN World Food Programme worked collaboratively in the sourcing and distribution of the food items.

"The originating memorandum on the project was submitted by NEMA on 2 June 2017 for Presidential approval. The National Security (Food) was threatened, emergency response became inevitable and therefore all suppliers in EFINE were appropriately selected. Copies of relevant documents in respect of the project were made available to the House Committee.

"The evacuation of Nigerians from Libya: The evacuation of stranded Nigerians from Libya was a multi-agency operation, which was undertaken jointly with all relevant stakeholders: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Federal Ministry of Health, the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Air Force, National Intelligence Agency, Department of State Security, NAPTIP, National Commission for Refugees, relevant State Governments, etc. Two Thousand, One Hundred and Thirty (2,130) Nigerians were evacuated in the operation. The operation was highly successful with prudent fund management after which money was returned to the couers of Government.

"The over N10 billion ecological fund: Submission was made to the committee with expenditure of N3.799 billion from January, 2017 to February, 2018. The sum of N1.96 billion was spent between January- April, 2017 (about 4 months) before the assumption of the present Director General, whereas the sum of 1.83 billion was expended between April, 2017 and February, 2018 (10 months) by the present management. The balance of N6.52 billion was in the Agency’s TSA Account with the CBN was adequately communicated to the committee in our submission."

CrimeGroup Wants Obasanjo, TY Danjuma Banned From Entering US, UK, Gives Reasons by owukpa(op): 2:24pm On Nov 13, 2018
The United States of America, United Kingdom and others have been asked to restrict entry for former President Olusegun Obasanjo and TY Danjuma, erstwhile Minister of Defence as a consequence for their alleged involvement in mass killings and detention of innocent citizens that took place under various guises when they held sway.

Policing Nigeria Awareness Initiative, who made this call in a letter addressed to the Embassy of the United States of America, the United Kingdom and others specifically pointed out the massacres of innocent Nigerians in Zaki Biam, Benue State and Odi area of Beyalsa during the Obasanjo-led government.

This call came barely one week after the Good Governance Advocacy Project, a Civil Society Organization had called on the United Nations and International Criminal Court, ICC, to investigate, probe Obasanjo and Danjuma for their alleged involvement in war crimes and other offenses against humanity that took place at various times between 1999 and 2007.

The letter signed by High Chief Amb Egbe Akparakwu, Executive Director of the group and obtained by our reporter on Tuesday, alleged that under the Obasanjo administration and with T.Y Danjuma as Minister of Defence, Nigeria experienced arbitrary detention and killing of innocent Nigerians under various guises.

The group in the letter made reference to a revelation by former associate of ex-President Obasanjo, Mr. Richard Odusanya, who alleged that the former chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party’s Board of Trustees was in charge of a killer squad that was formed under the military regime of late Gen. Sani Abacha.

According to Odusanya, the squad was used for political assassinations and was responsible for the unresolved killings of politicians under Obasanjo administration.

Part of the letter read, “As a flashback, during the administration of Olusegun Obasanjo in October 2001, the then Minister of Defence, T.Y Danjuma, ordered the military invasion of a community in Benue State, where thousands of people were killed and burnt beyond recognition. These innocent persons including women and children no doubt share the same faith with TY Danjuma.

“In 1999, over 2500 civilians were killed by the military under T.Y Danjuma in Odi town in Bayelsa state. Odi is another predominant Christian community in the Niger-Delta region of Nigeria with a less than 1 pee cent of the people as Muslims. All these demonstrate TY Danjuma and his former boss disposition towards humanity and their joy to shed innocent blood at any slightest opportunity.

“In addition, under Olusegun Obasanjo, Nigeria witnessed an unprecedented government masterminded political killings. This much was confirmed by a close associate who worked closely with him.

“Among those who were politically murdered during Obasanjo administration included, the former Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Chief Bola Ige, and South-South politicians, Chief Harry Marshall, Chief A.K. Dikibo, a former Senatorial Candidate of the defunct All Nigeria People’s Party, ANPP, in Imo State, Uche Orji, Arc Layi Balogun, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN, Prof Chimere Ikoku, former Chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, in Anambra State, Chief Barnabas Igwe and his wife, Chief Victor Nwankwo of Fourth Dimension Publishers and Chief Funso Williams. All these Nigerians are people that share the same religious faith with both Obasanjo and TY Danjuma yet we’re killed under circumstances that are quite familiar to the two men.

“It is also necessary for emphasis to be made that Under Obasanjo’s civilian rule, the massacres at Odi in Bayelsa State and Zaki Biam in Benue State where women and children were slaughtered, there has been no accountability. No one has been charged for this mass murder of innocent people despite countless petitions so far submitted by various groups and organizations calling for justice.

“There was also a huge rise in harassment and intimidation of Human Rights Activists under the administration of Olusegun Obasanjo. Arrests, Torture and some cases systematic killings of youth activists in the Niger Delta were rife. The arbitrary detention and subsequent torture of Comrade Sunny Ofehe, member Coalition for the Niger Delta Campaign (CNDC), and Mr. Oladeji Odukoya, a member of the Delta Youth Development Council (DYDC), is a clear testimony of the government use of force to silence its critics. Many of these have changed in recent times to pave way for a country where democratic principles are being entrenched.

“Consequent upon the fact that the duo of Olusegun Obasanjo and T.Y Danjuma have through their actions and inaction committed crimes and still committing crimes against humanity, we request that a travel ban is imposed on Olusegun Obasanjo and T.Y Danjuma into your country as a sanction for promoting war crimes pending the determination of our actions before the International Criminal Court.

“It is also our prayer that the duo of Olusegun Obasanjo and T.Y Danjuma that have brought sorrow and tears to countless families be made to face the full wrath of the law. We implore your governments to raise these issues before the United Nations go serve as deterrent to other world leaders who abuse their office and those who might be preparing the new grounds for crimes against humanity.”

Politics2019: There Will Grave Consequences For S/west If Atiku Wins – Yoruba Youths by owukpa(op): 6:56pm On Oct 30, 2018
The Progressive Yoruba Youth Congress (PYYC) has warned the southwest zone against voting the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 general elections.

The youth group warned that voting Atiku and the PDP into power will have grave consequences for the south west geo-political zone between 2019 and 2023.

According to PYYC the PDP government, under the last PDP-led federal government, the South West geo political zone was completely neglected.

Kola Salawu, the National President while speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, decried that the southwest region, which has the second highest number of registered voters and highly intellectual professionals, was denied any meaningful position in the top hierarchy of political office holders.

He recalled that at some point, there was nobody from the South West region occupying any of the top ten positions in the Country.

According to him, “The South West through its major political leaders decided to act. They pushed for alliances with other political parties across the Country to form the new All Progressives Congress (APC). They mobilized the South West to vote the new party which ultimately resulted to victory the APC at the polls.

“Let us not forget that the neglect by the PDP was not only political but also infrastructural. The party for whatever reason barely completed or even carried out any major project in the South West. The Lagos – Ibadan express way, the busiest in the country was abandoned. The Benin – Ore expressway was equally abandoned, so also was the Oyo- Ogbomosho road, there was barely any federal presence in the South West.

“It is however a different ball game under the APC government. Politically the APC has taken care of the interest of the South West tremendously. The Vice President is from the South west, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representative is also from the South West. The super Minister Babatunde Fsahola in- charge of Ministry of power, works and housing is from the South West, as well as Ministers of Health, Finance, Solid minerals, and Communications. The Chief of Defense staff is from the South West, Head of the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) Tunde Fowler. That’s just a few of the numerous positions held by the South West under this dispensation.

“The APC led Federal Government has 68 ongoing road projects in the South West alone amongst the road projects are; Lagos-Ibadan, Lagos- Abeokuta, Oyo -Ogbomosho-Ilorin. 36 power projects in the South West region within the last three years. The Lagos – Ibadan railway project is billed to be completed by December 2018 as work is ongoing on the site day and night with over 2,000 people employed directly or indirectly on the project. It is obvious to all that there is a huge difference in what the South West got under the previous PDP government and what they are getting now.

“The master stroke was the recognition of June 12 as Democracy day and the Honor given to Chief MKO Abiola. Even the Obasanjo government refused every appeal to have this done.

“To our amazement, when the PDP were going to have their convention in 2017 to pick their new party executives; the party agreed to zone the party chairmanship position to the South West but alas, that did not happen, the position was given to the South- South. After their party presidential primaries where Atiku Abubakar emerged candidate, he picked Mr. Peter Obi from the South East geo-political zone as running mate.

“It became obvious again that the party was not repentant and was going to treat the South West with the same disdain it has always had. It was reported in the news media that the PDP has decided to give the position of Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) to the South West. This must be very laughable and as our people say “we cannot compare a man sleeping with a dead man” that is a perfect description of both offers

The Southwest cannot leave what it has with the APC currently for the far watered down version promised by the PDP. The Southwest will not only reject the PDP and its candidate Atiku Abubakar but it will also campaign and vote for Mohammadu Buhari and the APC. The South West will not go back to oblivion again. All good people of the South West must rise up to protect this ongoing progress and support the one who has brought development to the region.

“We must also remain politically vigilant. When President Buhari’ s tenure ends in 2023 after he wins the 2109 elections, Power will return to the southern part of Nigeria and that is just some four years away. We never can tell what will happen then as the highest ranking person in this government from the south is no other but His Excellency the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo. It may just be his turn.

“We urge all sons and daughters of the South west of Nigeria to be politically awake and choose wisely in the forth-coming elections as the decisions we make will determine if the region will continue to enjoy the true benefits of good governance or we go back to the days of total neglect.

“The difference is as clear as crystal, we must work hard to return President Buhari in the 2019 general elections. Long live the federal republic of Nigeria!”

AgriculturePresident Buhari Hails Audu Ogbeh Over Achievement In Agric Sector by owukpa(op): 2:23pm On Oct 29, 2018
President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed satisfaction with the achievement recorded in the country's Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development headed by Dr. Audu Ogbeh, the honourable Minister.

President Buhari stated this while playing host to some young political appointees to a dinner at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Wednesday night.

The President said his grouse however is that the media did not give his administration the credit for the agricultural revolution and other achievements being recorded by the Audu Ogbeh led Ministry of Agriculture.

“I’m very disappointed in the Nigerian press. They didn’t give this government the credit of the “Go back to the land” programme. We have cut down the importation of rice by at least 90 per cent,” the President said.

He noted that many Nigerians were abandoning white collar jobs daily and embracing farming because of his government’s reform programme in the sector.

Under his watch, Buhari also said Nigeria had achieved food security. One of the major stake in any developing country.

He justified his appointment of Chief Audu Ogbeh as the Minister of Agriculture, saying the appointment was based on Ogbeh's antecedents.

He said the nation could not have had a better person to oversee the Ministry than Ogbeh whom he said had invested so much in agriculture and had also suffered.

“Ogbeh went to a bank, borrowed money and invested in agriculture. He suffered but eventually, he paid the money.

“So, you cannot have a better person than somebody who has suffered in the sector,” he said.

The President blamed the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for allegedly wasting the commonwealth of Nigerians during the 16 years the party was in power at the federal level.

He reiterated his position that there was nothing to show for the huge resources that accrued to the country during the period.

Like he did a few weeks back, Buhari queried the $16bn said to have been expended on the power sector during the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Although he did not mention Obasanjo’s name, it was during his administration that the sum was said to have been spent on the power sector.

“There was no power and they said they spent $16bn on power. Where is it (power)?” the President asked.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, claimed that the PDP didn’t achieve one-tenth of the APC achievements in its 16 years in power.

While saying that the present administration had achieved so much, Mustapha promised to make available a document which he said captured what the government had been able to achieve in less than four years.
