abduleez1:Na normal parole since like 2 months nw, When you register for the first time on the Glo Cafe app, they hang you 75GB for 24hrs... The 24hrs validity is where the problem lies 😩.. It's like the devil giving you free cap and collecting your head 😩😅.... They have no 5G network, and so i had to make do with their measly 4.5G that looked like it was deliberately slowed down, the day they gave me the data 😭.... Just look at the poverty speed i was getting that day smh...i have only be able to use 40GB max, the 2 times they have given me the data..

Achilles100:Just look at and i have just started the book, fgs, na to abandon ship it seems fgs 😩😅

pu7pl3:And that halfwit Triad Boss wanted to actually refuse Big Oz's offer of a cold one...see I'm so convinced which side i am on now, so Sofia Falcone and whatever she goes by these days, can bring it on...we good over here. |
Now, every time Oz opens his mouth to defend the shady things he does, this Mfer somehow always finds the right word!. I'm starting to believe he just might be right. I mean, “no honour amongst thieves,” right? Gotham is filled with slimy criminals who would do just about anything to get ahead, and it just so happens that Oz is ahead of the curve by a mile. I particularly loved his speech at "The Gold Summit." After that, I needed no further convincing that he’s totally him. He might be a total nut job, but I suddenly find myself rooting for him... Another excellent episode! The gears have shifted, and I’m almost certain a huge tidal wave is coming in the next one… 🤞🏿

"Caddo Lake" 2024. Time warp thriller mystery for amateurs maybe. It started slow and they tried to overly fragment the plot to make it seem clever than it actually is with all the time jumps going on but if you are vigilant enough, you'd see all the clues within the first 30 mins, and you wouldn't even need to see the end, for them to give you any "big reveal" they had in store. It also seem like they tried to fit so many plot lines into this, and a mini series could have done more justice to the script. And is it just me or does this look like a not so clever copycat of the Netflix's German show "Dark"? 🤔 Anyway...decent enough watch if your expectations are on the ground. 6/10.

Illusioneffect:That's the context i meant, when i said they got the "Plane scene" 100%. The ambience and simulation of an actual flight was spot on. The other things you mentioned are down to a bad script and bad delivery....do not stress yourself, it was a bad movie. |
Illusioneffect:Not even entering plane per say, as they surprisingly nailed the plane scene 100% but the screenplay didn't just work. Like i said, the subject matter doesn't have enough documented evidence to draw research from, but i believe they could have improvised and made the screenplay better, when doing period pieces, if you don't have all the info, you can improvise to make the script better, even if you have all the info sef....so the failure of the movie is just done to a very bad script. The 2/10 was for the very few things that worked...but i mean, that is still a very bad score, and it's a zero nudge for anyone to actually see it. |

"Hijack'93" (2024) Everyone involved in this mess should be arrested: the cast, the director, the producer, the extras, even the Netflix execs who okayed it… I mean everybody! Forgive the long review, but it comes from a place of intense anger. 😩 When the trailer first came out, we thought the only issue might be the wrong use of props. But after watching the actual movie, it’s clear that was just a small part of the problem. Without mincing words, this might be the worst Nollywood flick I’ve seen in a long while. This hogwash has set the industry back by at least 10 years… it’s absolutely irredeemable. The plot was a madhouse: zero coherence, zero structure, zero character development. It felt like they were just throwing random scenes in, hoping something would stick and none of it did. Clearly, no one in the writers’ room was thinking straight. There’s even a scene where the supposed Nigerian special forces try to rescue a Chinese diplomat's son from the hijacked plane by sending him poisoned food so he’ll get sick. When he’s taken off the plane, they plan to give him an antidote. Yes, they actually acted out this insane idea 😭😭 The use of modern props stripped the movie of any 1993 ambience, it was the most modern-looking “period” flick ever. Without the title, you’d think this adapted event happened last year. The background story wasn’t engaging enough to justify an adaptation imo. Given that Nigeria barely keeps records, they were working with a topic that had very few documented firsthand details; of course they’d run into plot holes. The plot follows four supposedly oppressed youths who want to “save” Nigeria from a corrupt government. So, they’re somehow convinced to hijack a plane and divert it to Frankfurt so they can start new lives. How does that fight against a bad government? To make things worse, the movie paints these characters as heroes. There were so many random, unexplained events, and it seemed like they just expected viewers to connect dots that didn’t even exist. They had the audacity to throw in a Yoruba vs. Igbo tribal war trope for no apparent reason, and it was a cringe fest. That popular fair-skinned guy from Twitter played one of the hijackers, and he would randomly burst into the cabin with a gallon of fuel, threatening to douse everyone, yet there’s zero explanation of how the fuel got onto the plane. The whole thing was so chaotic. Like 30 mins to the end, it didn't even care what happened, didn't care for the hijackers, i didn't care for the hostages, that's how little they sold the characters and story to me. I just kept it as BG noise and started streaming El Çlassico on another device, imagine missing Barça Youngins, pasting Madrid, 4 kolo in their own backyard? E for too pain me 😭, as that was an all timer El Çlassico, it hasn't been that good since Messi and CR7 used to go band for band. Normally, everyone involved in this hogwash supposed to dey sleep cell by now😩. Save your sanity and avoid this flick at all costs. It’s a terrible example of where the industry should not be headed. 2/10.

Ishilove:I was surprised when this got a bad press on here and i almost avoided it but less than 10 mins in, Wade was already roasting Happy, in the most insane way 🤣. I have since clocked that i probably should stop looking for Albert Einstein-level-intricate plot in movies, let alone from a CBM, and maybe i would enjoy movies more for the entertainment they bring...good jokes, foul mouthed, insane 4th wall break, roleplaying and satirizing real life events, and slo mo brute action? I'm sorry this is %100 entertainment i signed up for!. I didn't care for the multi versal, time line integrity hullabaloo that was going on in the BG, i didn't even care to understand it as it was clear that the main purpose of this movie was for MCU to bind 2 of their most Iconic amd relatable characters together in one flick, and probably let some oldies, like Big Unc Wesley Snipes, who have been out of the game for long with financial troubles also break bread and eat....i mean they weren't aiming for the Oscars, lets be for real 😩. I'm sorry, but this was not a bad movie, and if they decide to keep making it, till they are 90? I'm afraid, i will be showing up 😩.

pu7pl3:Broooo...The Internet flamed his azz that today he announced it 😩😩... It's like smokers, switching from Ciggs to Vape...The idea of alcohol free beer is as ridiculous as it sounds, as the primary ingredient that makes, Beer, Beer, is alcohol!. He has the worst charlatans representing him i swr. |
Mrmxyzpltk12:The Zendaya being his babe, comes with alot of issues for him imo. Her incredible star power might be intimidating for him, if he can't match her...I mean, this guy played one of comic book's most iconic character, so been reduced to just Zendaya's BF, might actually send him to spiral out of control. |
GloriousGbola:Tom is sober now, he was even promoting an "alcohol free beer", some weeks ago, and the Internet ate him up I really thought him and Timothée Chalamet would be eating at the top of the Hollywood youngin food chain. I am glad Christopher Nolan wants to give him a chance. |
joseph1832:That's the sequel. |
Alien: Romulus (2024) "Depth of space, stunning visuals and haunting soundscapes!" One thing you’re guaranteed from deep space movies is that they’re always going to cook with the visuals and sound effects and boy, did they serve up an absolute treat with this one 😩. Absolutely sublime! The movie itself was decent, but the stellar visuals took it to a whole new level for me ✨👌🏿. The sound editing was masterful too. At the very beginning, as the camera pans outside the spaceship, there’s total silence to reflect the “no sound in space” thingy. Sound slowly returns as the camera moves inside the spaceship, creating a seamless transition and invoking absolute dread! They also did an eerie edit to the 20th Century logo at the beginning, hinting at what was to come. I absolutely love these little touches! It reminded me of "Happy Death Day" (2017), where they replaced the usual Universal Pictures intro with a time-looped version, a clue to the film’s central theme. It might seem nerdy to notice these small details, but I can’t help it, I’m a total sucker for them 😩. The visuals of this movie, The Substance, and Dune: Part Two are my favorite cinematography picks this year. My end-of-year "The Beauty of Cinema" 2024 scrapbook is shaping up nicely ✨🤩!

Chibudollar:They do weekly releases too, albeit on a small scale, especially for releases they co-produce with 3rd parties. But their entire model it's based on the "Binge model", just dump everything, and they aren't looking for any sustained interest, just great streaming numbers on opening weekend, cashout, then move on to the next release, the following week. It's a low risk, high reward venture in the true sense of it tbh, as their production budget for these releases aren't all that high, except in some rare cases. But you see steaming platforms like HBO, Apple TV and Prime video, These are heavily backed by parent companies with loads of cash to burn on production, and so their production are usually pristine, whilst acquiring the best show makers and A list actors on their roasters, and as such, they can't do all this heavy lifting on production and just dump all the episodes on opening weekend...they want sustained interest, in it, a week wait time between episodes, creates more buzz, more discussions especially critical discussions apart performance that actually reap rewards during the Emmys, now all episode releasing one day? The discussion about the show would be so short, max one week, and puff!...the show is quickly forgotten, and on to the next one... Imagine GOT did a "binge release" back then, it wouldn't have had the same hold on people as it is today. I can't fault the Netflix model tbh, i actually rate it. they don't have parent companies with huge bags, should they fail..so i rate their quick cash crab, doesn't help them at award seasons tho due to the reasons stated earlier... However, The HBO, Disney+, Apple TV and Prime video model, helps them make more critically acclaimed shows, with most going on to influence pop culture history, name 10 shows which has influenced pop culture history, and you will sooner find 5 HBO shows on that list, before you see 1 Netflix show...and it's no surprise that these lot dominate award shows than Netflix, although Netflix do pull their weight from time to time, regarding this. |
pu7pl3:I find one media go there one time, na one page i open, 40 pages of ad don open for other tabs 😩....i nearly crase that day, after i battle for 30 minutes without success, i just rest, go Nkiri, go use their low quality media hold body... See if you no get patience and you dey quick vex .. just avoid Psarips 😩😩😅. |
Beorn:Pahe sef dey calm down when it comes to ad...You see PSa rips? Their ad services na die, if you no get patient, you fit smash your phone, the thing go dey count down like bomb, if you mistakenly try to click "skip" without clicking on the ad, the countdown time go increase as punishment 😭😭😩 |
phr0nesis:I have remotely uploaded S1 to file hosting site, and I have pasted the link in a txt file in that Google drive link below. My internet service provider decided to be useless today 😩, when i get a good bandwidth, i will try and grab the other 2 seasons....Hold S1 first....no vex 🙏🏾 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qk6Pufr-L9CsNd7R5BDTbXaK5uOLXTtt/view?usp=drivesdk Edit: Also let me know, if you have downloaded it, let me clear that drive 🙏🏾 |

samistry:This is a general equiry...do anyone find it easy or hard to sit through multiple reruns of their favorite show, especially those with pretty long runtime in multiple seasons and episodes? 🤔 See i can't lie, personally, it has become extremely difficult, not helped by the fact that just so many good media is out very other week, and i always get the inkling that, i am wasting precious time seeing old media, when i could have been seeing new ones, i have media i copped, way back in 2019, that i haven't even chewed through, just to put things in perspective 😩. I would love to see BB and GOT, frame by frame, episode by episode from scratch....but GOT alone, will set me back, at least 70hrs free hours, i don't even think i can scrap out, 48 interrupted hours to see shows or movies, within the next 2 months! 😩. So, i just settle for seeing the occasional one or 2 episodes every now and then...

Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980) "Do, or do not. There is no try." – Yoda Second part of my first run through the original trilogy, and I thought this was a fantastic sequel. It has a darker, more emotional tone with richer character development. The visuals are more impressive than in the first film, showcasing the progression of filmmaking from the '70s to the '80s. Next stop, the final part of the trilogy: Return of the Jedi! 8/10

abduleez1:Supreme HBO drama.....Omo all the evidences was stacked up against Baba 😩. It was this show i started noticing John Turturro, he absolutely killed it as the Lawyer. This is easy recommed, if your are looking for gritty court drama. See if HBO sets out to do a miniseries, be 90% assured it's gonna bang....This, I Know This Much Is True, Sharp Objects and Chernobyl are my favourite mini series from their stable in recent times ✌🏾 |
She doesn't even mess about, does she? Just straight to cooking! 😩 Another excellent episode 👍🏿
|
Ishilove:Typical M.Night Shalayman...the third act was so unbelievable....too many plot armor for the main character, the movie almost fell apart. But a strong 1st and 2nd act ensured the movie was a decent watch overall tho. |
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) "I find your lack of faith disturbing." A ragtag team from the Rebel Alliance, led by Obi-Wan Kenobi and a young Luke Skywalker, rises to end the tyrannical reign of the Galactic Empire. The Empire has acquired a weapon capable of reducing planets to rubble, and it's led by Darth Vader, a mysterious masked figure drawn to the dark, ancient ways... This is my first watch of the original trilogy, and it’s not a bad start. Next stop: The Empire Strikes Back! 7/10
